By Talent Gondo- Ntabazinduna Chief Nhlanhla Ndiweni castigated President Emmerson Mnangagwa and government officials for snubbing the burial of national hero Dumiso Dabengwa last Saturday

The outspoken chief, who has been warned by the government to be careful, tore into Mnangagwa and Zanu Pf while giving a graveside speech during the burial of the late ZAPU president’s funeral.

He said:

“Our tradition tells us that death unites people despite the differences that people might have. When there is a funeral people come together.

They could be here just to see if we have laid him to rest properly.

Maybe we might have done it the wrong way here; they could be here to say ‘no, this is not it!’ But above all, this whole scenario points to a situation that things are not well in our country.”
