By Talent Gondo| NPF spokesperson Jelousy Mawarire has torn into Zanu Pf and President Emmerson Mnangagwa accusing him of failing to deal with fuel cartels.
Mawarire said Mnangagwa was such a failure as “citizens’ economic, social and political standing was now worse off than it was during the reign of the former president Robert Mugabe.
Said Mawarire:
“People are poorer than they were in November 2017. The cartels that Zanu Pf are talking about about are there.
You don’t have to be a critic of government to know that the cartels are there. When Zanu Pf talks about government doing away with cartels, you wonder what they are talking about.
As long as we have people that unconstitutionally took over power in order to protect their loot, we are not going anyway in this country.
People Are poorer than they were in November 2017 and the fact that the people of Zimbabwe are not taking to the streets is only because of the threats that are being given left, right and centre by the regime.”
