By A Correspondent| The state owned Herald has distanced itself from a circulating report on social media claiming that DNA tests will become compulsory for new born babies before issuance of birth certificates.

Posting on Twitter, The Herald said;

“Dear readers, there is a paragraph circulating on social media, in which we are said to have written a story saying that “DNA tests to become compulsory,” with our website link embedded at the bottom.
Please disregard the story, as it did not originate from us.
