By A Correspondent- Dynamos legend, Stanley “Samora “ Chirambadare, will Thursday appear in court allegedly charged with sodomising a minor at his football academy.
Chirambadare who was popularly known for his overlapping runs during his playing days runs Revival Junior Football Academy in Mufakose, Harare, which nurtures junior football talent.
Reports suggest that the former Dynamos left-back was picked by Marimba police on Wednesday and is expected to appear before the court at Rotten Row.
It is further reported that the alleged sodomy came to light when a 13-year-old boy who was abused by Chirambadare tried to sodomise the other kids at the academy.
Chirambadare who was at some point an assistant coach at Dynamos is allegedly unmarried and is said to be staying alone in Mufakose, Harare.
Chirambadare is said to have started playing for DeMbare juniors in 1981 but was only able to take his football seriously when he had finished his advanced level studies in 1984.
