By Dorrothy Moyo| The expelled former Deputy President Of the MDC party, Thokozani Khupe failed at court appearance today.
Khupe’s lawyer failed to turn up for court for the case in which she is challenging her former boss, Nelson Chamisa over the party name.
Khupe is being sued by Chamisa as she is told to stop using the party name, MDC-T.
Her party spokesperson, Obert Cutu also said the urgent chamber application filed by Nelson Chamisa that was scheduled to be heard today at the Bulawayo High Court by Justice Francis Bere has since been postponed to the 17th April.
Gutu announced on Twitter saying the case was postponed after Khupe’s lawyer Lovemore Madhuku failed to attend the hearing.
The hearing was at 2PM. Gutu said,
“Urgent chamber application that was scheduled to be heard before Honorable Justice Francis Bere at the Bulawayo High Court at 14.00 hours this afternoon has been postponed to April,17,2018 at 14.00 hours. Judge granted the postponement to enable Prof. Lovemore Madhuku to attend the hearing.
