By Redley Mugabe|  Since the day she claimed Morgan Tsvangirai sent thugs to beat her up, today marks exactly 224 days, or just 32 weeks later.

On the 2nd September 2017, Thokozani Khupe began her journey into “Satan’s abyss.” On that day, she made an official report that she was beaten up by a sick man, Morgan Tsvangirai. This was on top of her giving the man a lot of trouble by humiliating him, refusing to participate in the MDC Alliance, all because she did not want to cede parliamentary seats to her old time nemesis Welshman Ncube. 7 months later she would claim that she was never against the MDC Alliance.

Now fast forward to February 2018, Khupe suddenly shifted from her ever boiling, unresolved war against the late Tsvangirai, and launched another battle, this time as she began claiming that she is the legitimate Party Acting President, not Nelson Chamisa. This was against a National Council(the party’s highest decision making body in between congress) resolution that spoke unanimously to appoint Chamisa.

She also opposed her colleague Elias Mudzuri who had his own wrangle that he is the legitimate leader appointed during Tsvangirai’s dying moments.

When the National Council Resolutions were read out, millions of Zimbabweans (party supporters) affirmed that position as legitimate.

Fast forward 2 weeks, pastors, bishops, and leading statesmen flocked to her house in Bulawayo to reason with her particularly at a time when it became clear Chamisa was not out to eliminate any of his opponents. To this day people like for instance Elias Mudzuri continue their works of dissent totally untouched.

Now fast forward to the 13th April 2018, the parliament of Zimbabwe’s Speaker, Jacob Mudenda declared that she was the outcast. She was ordered out of the house and on Friday night her spokesman Witness Dube said she is now suing Chamisa. In the below interview, he said she is only suing ” for posterity’s sake.”

But how much posterity if any does Khupe have? After her team threatened to literally remove their underwear in protest, how many clothes does Khupe still have on her? She does not have community covering as Southern Region leader, Jenni Williams distanced her organisation from her(Khupe). She no longer has party clothes as she has been derived and expelled. At Parliament, she is now jobless. On a more serious note, after declaring to literally and phusically strip down to underwear level, is she still covered?
