Terrence Mawawa|MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa has dismissed claims that his party is in possession of arms of war.

Addressing a news conference at Morgan Tsvangirai House today Chamisa has said his party does not have arms of war but arms of love instead.

“Even if they arrest me, they will not arrest the will of the people. We don’t have any arms of war, we have arms of love,” said Chamisa.

“You are saying because I contested you, you want to punish me -we have deep seated divisions in this country, which cannot be addressed by this toomfoolery,” added Chamisa.

He also dismissed claims that the attempt to abduct him was a stage managed event.
