Jane Mlambo| Opposition Transform Zimbabwe leader Jacob Ngarivhume has criticized government for abusing state resources at a time the country is battling against countless problems including dilapidated health delivery system.
Commenting on the ongoing drama around the vice President Constantino Chiwenga’s marriage problems and revelations that his wife Marry siphoned huge sums of money out of the country, Ngarivhume said abuse of state systems was rampant in high offices.
“Mary Chiwenga’s charge sheet reveals the depth of abuse of the system by those in high offices. Our health system has collapsed while an individual had access to USD1m to buy property abroad. Everyone else is told about SANCTIONS. We are led by thieves…SIMBURU!!,” fumed Ngarivhume.
Among her charges, Marry Chiwenga is accused of fraudulent transactions which she did using a South African business she is linked to.
She abused her proximity to Chiwenga to get foreign currency from the Commercial Bank of Zimbabwe which she siphoned out of the country under the guise of invoices for the purchase of ZESA prepaid metres.
