By Talent Gondo- The Zimbabwe Anti Corruption Commission (ZACC) has arrested Manicaland Diocese Anglican Bishop, Eric Ruwona over profiteering from the compulsory sale of Bibles and hymn books to desperate pupils seeking places at Anglican schools in the province.

The Bishop is currently detained at Mutare Central Police Station and is expected to appear in court tomorrow.

Allegations against Bishop Ruwona are that the cleric would force pupils seeking places at Anglican schools to pay a staggering $800 for the Holy Bible.  It is alleged that those who failed to pay were turned away.

Bishop Ruwona was arrested following a tip-off by frustrated parents.
