Dear Sir/Madam.

May you please investigate thoroughly the information I have received to the effect that the ZANU PF led government have renovated or are in the process of renovating St Anne’s, Arundel and Rock Foundation hospitals, for the sole purpose of use by ZANU PF big wigs and their funders or beneficiaries as the hospitals of choice for them to be treated against the Corona virus epidemic. So, they believe they have more right to life and well-being than the rest of us Zimbabweans?

We understand that, the day following John Mangudya’s announcement that Zimbabweans can now use the previously outlawed US dollar as legal tender, people who went to banks to withdraw money were told by their banks that there was no cash as the Reserve Bank was actually empty. So it appears the powerful elite and their cartel leaders emptied the banks first before announcing use of US dollars.

If it’s true that these facilities are being prepared for ZANU PF elite, we find it totally reprehensible and unacceptable.  Although ZANU PF or people like Kuda Tagwirei etc would like gullible Zimbabweans to believe they are using their funds, we know that the funds are actually part of billions of loot of tax payers funds or largesse and patronage that is the DNA of ZANU PF.  Since these are our funds, they should be used to upgrade public facilities like Wilkins, Beatrice and other provincial hospitals all over Zimbabwe, which are accessible to the masses.

Please ask the ZANU PF government, why was Zororo Makamba allegedly fast tracked through the airport after making a phone call inspire of him showing symptoms of the Corona virus and he went on to possibly infect many others before he died.

We would appreciate you seeking an explanation from government and ZANU PF, although we are aware that in our country there is no distinction between ruling party and government. Please publish our letter and any response you receive from the authorities.
