After the outcry by many regarding Econet’s decision to hike pricing of data bundles yesterday, NetOne has followed suit after 24 hours;
Before flocking to NetOne for better deals, here’s what subscribers will now have to pay for the different types of data on offer at NetOne;
One-Fi
One-Fi is particularly interesting because a lot of the outrage generated by Econet was because of the review of their Private Wi-Fi bundle. For NetOne One-Fi remains priced similarly;
This means $400 will still get you 25GB whilst ZW$800 and ZW$1000 get you 50GB and 80GB respectively. All of the packages are valid for a month.
This came as a surprise because NetOne and Econet have followed each other closely when it comes to pricing.
This is a massive difference in pricing that might result in NetOne gaining a few thousand subscribers.
