Masvingo Polytechnic College students booed Zimbabwe First Lady for the economic hardships in the country.

Hundreds of riot police were called to flash out students from hall of residence and lecture room as government panicked.

Mai Mnangagwa had visited Masvingo to launch her traditional food cooking competitions.Masvingo Polytechnic was expelling students for none payment of schools.

” Kure uko !! Unouya kuzodzidzisa vanhu kubika mufusha ndiyaniko asi ngagone kubika mufushwa.? ” one student was heard shouting whilst thousands were booing .

“Iwe unouya kuno nemota dzese idzi kupedza mari yenyika munopenga chete !! Pasi neZanuPF!!” Another student was heard saying.

A female student shouted ” Munonakigwa nokudya mari nyika mese nomurume pasina chiri kubuda.Murume waenda kunobaiwa nhomba kuVictora Falls watadza kubairwa muHarare here? Ibva netumufushwa twako pano.”

“The programme by First Lady could have been beneficial to the nation if she had invested in research on putting value addition to mufusha and research for international market for our mufushwa.The whole programme becomes of little value if its about cooking to eat.” Said Sufsan Moyo a political analyst.
