President Emmerson Mnangagwa is set to open a single lane bridge in Karanda as he continues his unpresidential approach of officially opening anything including a mortuary in Gutu.

The bridge which is 180 metres long, crosses over Ruya River and will significantly reduce distance between Bindura and Mt Darwin according to information secretary Nick Mangwana.

Mnangagwa has in the past officially opened a mortuary in Gutu, a 20 kilometre stretch of Harare- Beitbridge road and officially handed over new coaches to ZUPCO among other minor projects he has presided over.
