Dr Themba Dlodlo a lecturer at the National University of Science and Technology who is also a cattle farmer in Esigodini on the outskirts of Bulawayo made his own record when he sold a bull for $24 000 in a cattle sale held in Harare.

The day was a busy day for the farmers as their livestock fetched huge prices
Some of the top prices were as follows:

1st Breed Brahman- $24000 Nguni brahmans
2. Breed Brahman $18700 Ruvale brahmans
3 Breed Brahman- $17000 Ruvale brahman
4 -Breed Brahman – $16500 Ruvale brahmans
5.Breed Brahman- $15500 Reed brahmans
