Geological Mapping is an important tool in the mining industry.
Many people look down upon Geological mapping and just do simple methods in search of minerals for example dowsing methods to search for minerals.
Geological mapping is the process done by a Geologist in which he picks up rock units called lithologies in an area, picking the orientation and structural features on the mine.
Explaining the importance of Geological mapping: One can know the contact zones which are important in gold mineralization. Gold moves in areas of low mean stress for example fractures, faults, etc if a Geologist is able to pic a contact zone he can be able to proceed checking possible mineralization in the cantact zone.
We at Inner Core Resources (Pvt.) Ltd offer Mining services from Geological mapping, reef mapping, Magnetics and IP in exploration for all minerals including Gold, Lithium, Manganese and base metals including copper, manganese etc. Exploration starts from desktop studies spanning to geological mapping upto geological reporting with our experienced personnel.
Why would you want to do this:
To understand the potential of your area, This would be your guideline during mining…

Government has not deregistered any Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) operating in the country but has instead identified and informed 391 NGOs who are non-compliant with the dictates of the Private Voluntary Organisation Act to regularise their operations.
In an interview with Zimpapers Television Network’s “The Chase” programme last night, the Minister of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare, Professor Paul Mavima said the identified NGOs, whose figure was actually 450 last year, but has come down to 391, still have a chance to regularise their operations before Government gazettes their deregistration.
“The list still gives them an opportunity to regularise before we gazette, for now we haven’t gazetted but soon we will be gazetting. We have given them a very long rope but once we gazette they will then have to apply afresh to operate,” said Minister Mavima.
He rubbished as unfounded claims by what he said were “cynical people” who are always bent on portraying the country as being in a crisis mode.
Minister Mavima said these people are falsely claiming that the listing of non-compliant NGOs was done based on the new Act when in actual fact the process to amend the legislation has not been completed. “The new Act’s amendment process has not been completed and a lot of people have been saying there is a draconian action by Government in line with the new Act and we have started to see the implementation of that Act which is going to constrain civil society space. The Act has always been there and just like in any other country, it provides for a criterion for registration for anyone who wants to operate a PVO. It sets the requirements needed, a management arrangement, provide annual reports to the PVO board, audited financial statements and keep within the mandate that you said you wanted to operate in and also to confine yourself to the geographical space that you said you want to operate from. This is standard procedure, everywhere,” said Minister Mavima.
He said the majority of the listed NGOs were not in the political or human rights space or even a space that can be interpreted as affecting the outcome of an election.
“Those who are saying something now are just full of sound and fury and there is no logic in what they are saying. The culprits are always the same, Zimbabwe’s resident cynics, those who want to portray that the country is always in a crisis mode. This list of the now 391 was originally 450 and was published a year ago to say these organisations are not in compliance, some have regularised hence the figure is now 391. Everywhere in the world, the Government has to know where the money was going and coming from. When you use public money to do something you have to account for it,” said Prof Mavima.
He said the country only deregistered two NGOs last year for national security reasons.
Minister Mavima said one of the NGOs had said they wanted to provide services to children and started constructing schools and after that started teaching fundamentalism in those schools.
“We said no, you don’t do that. They have been appealing and twice we have heard their appeal but we have said they will not operate,” he said.
On the Jairos Jiri Association position, Minister Mavima said the association has over the years been unbundled and became a number of organizations offering such services as education and others to disadvantaged and disabled people.
“Some of these (Jairos Jiri Association) offshoots have complied while others have completely gone defunct
Here is another example that has been used, Jairos Jiri Association. People do not realise that Jairos Jiri was unbundled, it became a number of organisations, one in education, another offering services to disadvantage and disabled people. Some have complied while others have completely gone defunct,” addedMinister Mavima.
Slightly over 2 500 NGOs are operating in Zimbabwe.
By Court Correspondent | The case pitting the controversial Australia based ZANU PF socialite labelled (by government employees) a CIO State Prostitute, Susan Mutami and Norton MP Temba Mliswa in which the legislator was arrested for holding a press conference (against COVID regulations) to address her allegations against him, has collapsed.
The High Court declared the MP not guilty at the close of the state’s case.
In a ruling dated 19 January 2023, Justice Katiyo said:
WHEREUPON after reading documents filed of record and hearing Counsel
IT IS ORDERED THAT

2. In its place he and it is hereby replaced with the following:-
-Application 14 discharge at the close of the state case is granted. Accused person be and is hereby found not guilty and acquitted.”
3. No order as to costs.
BACKGROUND STORY…
Susan Mutami – file
By A Correspondent | Mystery surrounds the whereabouts of the controversial self styled whistle-blower, Susan Mutami following an eletric period of exposing ZANU PF President Emmerson Mnangagwa and rallying the public around that cause, between June and August 2022. Mutami is now nowhere to be seen. Since the period of the United Nations she went off social media and off friends.
So what really happened to the whistleblower who could have easily helped to lift the plight of abused minors? ZimEye searches around all over Brisbane, among friends, family, and even on the Twitter website that became her attack base against people like Marry Mubaiwa who ended up being amputated following Mutami’s false allegations, Susan still cannot be found.
ZimEye checks with Susan’s mother, Rebecca Mutami, whose phone is switched off soon after picking up the journalist’s voice. Soon after that call, the mum’s Facebook posting stops completely for months running into December, not a single dot can be seen.
ZimEye turns to Susan’s young sister, the 20 year old Kundai, whose phone is swiftly switched off soon after the ZimEye journalist has introduced himself.
“How are you Kundai? I am looking for Susan,” our reporter asks, to which she replies by demanding to know,
“Who is calling?”
The call is terminated upon announcement of ZimEye.
Afterwards, another local Australian Correspondent tasked by ZimEye tries her luck, only to report back saying that the phones are ringing but none of the two, (mother and young sister) are picking up.
So was Susan Mutami killed? If anything happened to her at least her brother, still to be contacted, would have notified the world, a source tells ZimEye.
To somewhat confirm this, an intelligence agent provides possibly the clearest detail on Susan Mutami’s whereabouts. “The last time I spoke with her she told me that she is now changing her number because she has to avoid people,” they tell ZimEye. ZimEye was still to be given Susan’s “new phone numbers,” at the time of writing as promised.
So what really happened to this whistleblower who also says she is an anti terorism expert and who was going to make announcements at the UN General Assembly in September exposing her former boss and one time “boyfriend”?
Something happened to her which is more than money, a state agent tells ZimEye. The whole sequel begins in 2020, when Mutami got pregnant twice in a year to 2 different men, amid a long string of others in the same 12 month period.
She would also in the same year threaten to ‘rape’ Simba Chikanza’s own father (94) during interviews.
The below is a trail of event twists that involved high profile ministers caught between two scandals, one on the sale of stands, and one of trappings using Susan who was self proclaiming to be an anti-terrorism expert.
It was all triggered when earlier in the year, the Special Anti Corruption Unit head, Thabani Mpofu was close to arresting Local Govt Minister, July Moyo over the alleged sale of stands in Harare, Kwekwe and Gweru for his own benefit.
There were several beneficiaries listed on this reported scandal who are in the ministry of Justice; so to hide this, a quick plan was hatched to get Mpofu fired.
Owen Ncube
Mpofu, who leads the controversial taskforce, was swiftly accused of authoring letters for MDC Alliance Vice President Tendai Biti advising the opposition icon on ways of navigating through the justice system.
Close sources allege that, when this was about to happen, the Norton MP Temba Mliswa went over to president, Emmerson Mnangagwa to advise him to ignore the calls to fire Mpofu; doing this in order to settle scores with the enemy of an enemy (Mliswa had heard that Thabani Mpofu had been set up by July Moyo, Owen Ncube, and Virginia Mabhiza). Mliswa has had several bones to chew with Thabani Mpofu. Mliswa reasoned with Mnangagwa saying: how could Thabani Mpofu author letters for MDC Deputy President Tendai Biti in this age and time when he could simply pick a phone call.
Parallel to all this, Temba Mliswa was the subject of an ongoing probe in which he was entangled with ex girlfriend, Susan.
Facts became clear mid February that, Susan Mutami, the centre of the axis, was used to incriminate Mliswa.
Mutami is an enigma. She claims she bedded the late SB Moyo, Killer Zivhu, Temba Mliswa. She even openly announces saying she has bedded Emmerson Mnangagwa.
She says she has Mliswa’s twins, while at the same time naming her son after his arch enemy, Owen Ncube.
5 LOVERS, 2 PREGNANCIES TO 2 DIFFERENT MEN, ALL IN ONE YEAR
–
In 2020 alone, she dated at least four High profile men who include the Foreign Affairs Minister SB Moyo, one after the other:

Polite Kambamura, the Mining Deputy Minister (they were engaged). Walter Chikwana, Secretary for the Judicial Commission (they had a civil partnership in 2020), and ZANU PF MP, Hon Kenneth Musanhi (see pictures).
Furthermore, an affidavit seen by ZimEye states in addition that she was already pregnant way before bedding Mliswa in 2020
–
The affidavit, certified by the Judicial Services Commission (JSC), shows that as at around March 2020, she was still engaged to another man, who works inside the JSC, Mr Walter Chikwana.
–
The man was reached for a comment but wouldn’t speak or respond to questions.
The affidavit states that Mutami was carrying a pregnancy to another man at the end of March 2020. In the affidavit, her boyfriend, Mr Chikwana says:
+
‘ I am Susan Vivian Mutami’s partner and in case of emergency I can be contacted on the above mentioned address or on my mobile number, +263772***********”
–
He then goes on to say he is the legal guardian of SB Moyo’s Child (full name redacted-in accordance with the Children’s Act on the paper).
–
” I am also the legal guardian of (name withheld), and our unborn child as of date. Attached hereto is a copy of my identification.”
–
The affidavit was signed on the 24th March 2020.
Affidavit
The development puts burden on Mutami to explain the timing drama surrounding her two pregnancies (to different men) which are within months of each other.
–
She also says that she is the holder of two Australian degrees of which she has none, and also makes false claims that she is the winner of Australia’s CEO awards. During interviews with Mutami, ZimEye reveals how that her claims to university courses are baseless.
VIDEO LOADING BELOW
Asked to state which universities issued her 2 degrees, Susan Mutami says: the @AusEmbZim performed all verification checks. She says: "There is no way a whole embassy would just leave and accompany me to go and donate, and hand out donations without doing proper checks on me…" pic.twitter.com/deBmXUv4St
She is also put to task on her CEO Awards claim, and it is revealed that she was only a passerby at the function who posed in front of a camera holding someone else’s award. (SEE RGM INTERVIEW BELOW)
Her ex lover, Mliswa has maintained his allegations that he was set up by the Central Intelligence Organisation in order to incriminate him using Susan Mutami.
By this time, he has been arrested and charged for violating COVID regulations while holding a press conference to address her allegations against him.
After all this, she is stopped while trying to leave the country, and then she is put under the custody of the Central Intelligence Organisation. Mutami is held for possessing details on the attempted assassination of the president and killing of three aides at the White City Stadium, then she is whisked out by two powerful ministers who have close links to the president, July Moyo (local governments), Owen Mudha Ncube, minister of state security. After being whisked out without knowledge of the mother body of the CIO, she then starts to attack to the Director General of the CIO, who she claims she once dated, then threatening to release secret information on the cabinet, Politburo and a number of other official secrets, while on the same tweet, absolving the two ministers, July Moyo and Owen Mudha Ncube.
At this time, July Moyo is under investigations for parceling out land, a case being probed by Thabani Mpofu’s SACU organisation.
July Moyo is very close to permanent Secretary Mrs Virginia Mabhiza and Kumbirai Hodzi, the prosecutor General. At the same time, Thabani Mpofu’s SACU is having clashes with the Prosecutor General. There was a collusion between the Prosecutor Gen and July Moyo to get Thabani Mpofu fired. The PG and July Moyo then approached the president Emmerson Mnangagwa to pass allegations that Thabani Mpofu has advised Biti.
The event trail is as follows:
Thabani Mpofu is accused of writing WhatsApp letters to MDC Alliance MP Tendai Biti giving him advice on how to return to parliament, and this makes the president very angry. At this time, Mnangagwa has also been told by Perm Sec Virginia Mabhiza, and Prosecutor Gen Kumbirai Hodzi, to ignore the request to arrest Minister July Moyo on land fraud.
Mnangagwa then summons Thabani Mpofu to State House where he is dressed down. It is reported that Mpofu has been fired. ZimEye contacts Mpofu who tells this news network, it’s not true at all. Are you my employer?, Mpofu fires a question while answering to the report.
Soon afterwards, Temba Mliswa who is naturally against Mpofu, comes to the rescue of Mpofu to tell the President that Mpofu has been set up. Thabani Mpofu also gets support of the CIO DG Isaac Moyo. This angers July Moyo who together with Owen Ncube sponsor Susan Mutami to tweet ‘some dirt’ on Isaac Moyo while absolving July Moyo and Owen Ncube publicly, on the Twitter website.
State security sources report saying Mutami was whisked out of Zimbabwe through the Beitbridge Border post. ZimEye requests paperwork to confirm that the escape was truly through that border post. No date is provided, but by end of April 2021, she is now safely in Australia.
Both Owen Ncube and July Moyo are contacted for a comment, and their phones are put down soon after hearing the interview questions.
Responding to the state security reports, Mliswa denies ever approaching Mnangagwa to assist Mpofu. He tells ZimEye: “Mpofu, Matanga, Mudha, July Moto, and Ziyambi Ziyambi are all one and the same, working hand-in-hand.”
It surfaces that Mutami is an agent of July Moyo and his team to settle their matters with Director General, Isaac Moyo. Thabani Mpofu then suddenly comes out the victim of the two warning camps.
By this time, the development has raised questions on how safe Zimbabweans are when ministers and two officials are using a woman to settle their personal scores. Is Zimbabwe is being run by people controlled by bottom power, or is it that Susan Mutami has some ability to capture all these people, or she is so dazzling to control the nation’s top government officials?
The following year 2022, at a time when there are many questions still to be answered by Susan such as: where is the proof of your degrees in counter terrorism? Where are Mliswa twins you said you gave birth?, Why do you seem skipping from one high profile man to the other?, where is the proof of your nursing degree? Why on earth did you threaten to rape Simba Chikanza’s father?, Where is the proof that you are a famous person who won the Australian CEO awards?, Susan Mutami bounces out to announce that she was raped by Emmerson Mnangagwa.
During her tweets, she also accuses the mother of 5, Marry Chiwenga, saying she (contrary to clear video evidence) attempted to kill her husband the Vice President, allegations that would get Marry amputated after being denied her passport for a medical travels.
She also accuses her former lover, Mliswa of raping a minor who eventually died from an abortion.
On her widely attended Twitter space, Susan Mutami accuses journalists who have asked her these pertinent questions of being state agents, going to the point of claiming Simba Chikanza whose father she threatened to assault, was paid by the military intelligence.
She then promises to fly to the UN General Assembly to expose Mnangagwa and connect with the masses over her allegations.
The whole nation starts to expect her to dress down the 80 year old ZANU PF leader in front of the world. ZimEye maintains its caution stating that Mutami cannot be genuine, and the Queensland Police where she claimed she has registered a police case have announced that the number she publicised is not even a police case reference.
Her Twitter account stops posting by the end of August 2022 and in the whole of September, there is not a mention of Mutami at the UN General Assembly.
By Dec 2022, Susan Mutami has gotten Marry Chiwenga amputated and on another hand, dashed the hopes of millions of abused children whose rape cases are likely to be doubted now when they make reports.
Between being silenced and just going silent on her own, what has happened to Susan Mutami?
By A Correspondent- A Zanu-PF councillor in Buhera South, Manicaland province, is in the eye of a storm after villagers accused him of stealing fertiliser meant for distribution to villagers under the Presidential Inputs Scheme.
Ward 29 councillor David Chirinda was allegedly caught red-handed by some Zanu-PF youths at Chabata business centre in Buhera on Sunday morning.
Village head Passmore Chabata confirmed the development yesterday .
“We are worried because the councillor is yet to be arrested, but a police report was made at Birchenough Bridge Growth Point. We have a sad situation in Buhera South constituency in ward 29, where Chirinda was caught red-handed stealing presidential inputs. On Saturday, police and officials from the Grain Marketing Board came with some fertiliser at Chabata business centre and the inputs were supposed to be stocked at Mutisi shops,” Chabata said.
“Chirinda diverted all the fertiliser to his shop ahead of the distribution the following day. He took the keys and went home. We alerted some youths, including those from Zanu-PF, and at around 4am, he was caught opening the doors of his shop and stealing the fertiliser. I represent all traditional leaders and such people must be arrested.”
Villagers allege that Buhera South legislator Joseph Chinotimba (Zanu-PF) is defending the councillor.
Chinotimba yesterday, however, said: “I don’t want to be involved in the matter.”
Chirinda was not reachable for comment.
Manicaland police spokesperson Inspector Nobert Muzondo said they were still investigating the matter.
In an unrelated matter, an alleged land baron and Zanu-PF district co-ordinating committee member for Harare province, Spencer Mabheka has been fingered in fresh land invasions in the capital.
Harare ward 16 councillor Denford Ngadziore (Citizens Coalition for Change) exposed the issue, saying: “It has come to my attention that a group of politically-connected land barons held a meeting in which they resolved to proceed with another illegal invasion in various areas in Mabelreign, including Greenways at Haig Park, Meyrick Park, St Andrews Park, Cotswold Hills and Greencroft.
“True to that illegal resolution, they have proceeded to invade Greenways. They are doing this without any supporting documents as required at law.”
Mabheka, however, denied the allegations and accused Ngadziore of mudslinging him because they contested against each other in the 2018 elections.
“In a nutshell, I am a Zanu-PF district co-ordinating committee secretary for administration. I contested the 2018 elections for local authorities. I have been assisting people to get borehole water, and in 2015, I patched potholes and repaired boreholes in ward 16. I am not sure of what Ngadziore is talking about. He is only smearing my name because he thinks I will contest him again this year,” he said.
Allegations are that there is a ploy by the ruling Zanu-PF party to dangle land to the youths ahead of this year’s polls
By A Correspondent- Police have launched a manhunt for a Gokwe man who is on the run after he allegedly imprǝgnatǝd his 15-year-old niece.
The suspect, whose name could not be ascertained, but is from the Gandavaroyi area under Chief Chireya in Gokwe North, is alleged to have subjected the girl to ƨǝxual abuse on several occasions resulting in her falling prǝgnant.
The alleged rɑp!st, who is the victim’s maternal uncle, has been staying with the girl since the mother is based in Kwekwe.
Gokwe North District Civil Protection Unit (CPU) chairperson, Mr Martin Musakanda said they are seized with the matter.
“The girl is doing Form One at Gandavaroyi Secondary School and she was taken to Gandavaroyi Clinic where it was confirmed that she is four months prǝgnant. She has since been referred to Gokwe District Hospital for further assessment and monitoring,” he said.
Mr Musakanda, who is also the district development coordinator, said they are working on modalities to transport the girl from Gandavaroyi Gokwe District Hospital.
He also confirmed that police have launched a manhunt for the suspected ƨǝxual predator who went into hiding following the discovery of the offence.
Police are hunting for the suspect who disappeared immediately after he got wind that they were looking for him following a tip-off from members of the public,” said Mr Musakanda.
He said a local child care worker was the first to discover the prǝgnancy and immediately alerted the Department of Social Welfare.
Zimbabwe Gender Commission (ZGC) chairperson, Commissioner Margret Mukahanana-Sangarwe condemned the acts calling for longer custodial sentences for perpetrators.
“We need to do more so that the perpetrators are brought to book. As a commission, we condemn such acts of rɑp!ng and abus!ng children. Anyone who is under the age of 18 cannot consent to ƨǝx or a relati0nship let alone marr!age hence it is considered as rɑpǝ” she said.
Comm Mukahanana-Sangarwe said the Commission will continue pushing for stiffer penalties for perpetrators.
She said there should be a minimum mandatory sentence for anyone convicted of rɑpǝ.
Comm Mukahanana-Sangarwe urged the community and parents to desist from a culture of sweeping cases under the carpet.
“As a Commission, we urge the community and parents to assist police by reporting perpetrators of rɑpǝ. We also encourage people to educate their children so that they know that their bodies are not yet ready for ƨǝxual activities and not be lured into relati0nships,” she said.
Comm Mukahanana-Sangarwe said the Commission has zero tolerance to such acts and urged police to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to book.
The latest development comes at a time when the country is struggling to contain cases of child ƨǝxual abuse.
Recently, a 15-year-old learner at Loreto High School in Midlands Province, gave birth to a bouncing baby at the school hostels.
It is not yet clear who is behind the prǝgnancy.
Last year a nine-year-old Tsholotsho girl also gave birth through C-section after she was allegedly abusǝd by a close relative.
Last week, an eight-year-old girl from Bindura who was imprǝgnated by a close relative, gave birth through a Caǝsarian section.
According to the Primary and Secondary Education Statistics Report, in 2021, 14 600 pupils, including 238 primary school girls dropped out of school due to prǝgnancy and child marr`ages, a worrying number.
By A Correspondent| President Emmerson Mnangagwa has been sucked into the Industrial Development Corporation saga after receiving 30 tonnes of fertilizer taken by the parastatal’s top management from Zimphos.
The under-fire IDC chairperson Winston Makamure and acting general manager Kudzai Marime reportedly donated the fertilizer to Mnangagwa to buy his audience after they got wind that the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission was investigating them.
Winstone Makamure
“They were told to leave the fertilizer at his Kwekwe Farm. They wanted an audience with him and the Vice President Chiwenga. Up to now they have failed to see his excellency. The company is struggling to pay the fertilizer up to now,” reads the dossier.
The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission is investigating high level corruption and nepotism at Industrial Development Corporation after a whistleblower sent a damning dossier to the anti graft body.
The leaked dossier accuses IDC chairperson Winston Makamure and acting general manager Edward Tome of gross mismanagement, nepotism and employing their mistresses among other things.
“We have received the complaints and investigations are under way. I can not comment much on the issue because it will jeopardize investigations,” a ZACC official said.
According to the dossier, Makamure who is related to minister of trade and commerce Sekai Nzenza recruited his mistress Kudzai Marime to be the project manager.
“They used to work together at NetOne. Marime used to work in the core centre at NetOne but was appointed projects manager without the relevant qualifications. They even travelled together to Nyanga for a strategic meeting,” reads the dossier.
Makamure is alleged to have also authorized the recruitment of one Varaidzo Charangira who is related to Tome.
The chairperson is also said to have authorized the hiring of Gillian Mucheche who has a child together with Tome. Gillian joined the business unit of the parastatal.
Makamure also allegedly bought two high-end cars for Tome without cabinet approval.
“Makamure authorized and facilitated the purchase of two vehicles, a Ford Raptor and a Toyota Fortuna Prado. Ford Raptor is always with Tome’s at the farm while the Prado is parked at Willovale Mazda Motor Industries,” reads the dossier.
“He is pushing to be an executive chairman through minister Nzenza so that he can sweep his shenanigans under the carpet. He is also pushing for the recruitment of a finance director and has already interviewed a lady he was working with at NetOne. They want to frustrate the finance manager who has been blocking unnecessary expenditure.”
Efforts to get a comment from Tome were fruitless as his phone was not getting through.
By A Correspondent- Chitungwiza woman Tanyaradzwa Dombo was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly unlawfully termination of pregnancy, she was caught digging a shallow grave to bury the foetuses.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) confirmed the arrest in a statement which reads: “Police in Harare have arrested Tanyaradzwa Dombo (24) for unlawful termination of pregnancy.
On 24/01/23 the suspect was allegedly found digging a shallow grave intending to bury a plastic bag with two foetuses in Unit G, Chitungwiza.
“The foetuses were taken to Chitungwiza General hospital for post moterm”.
By A Correspondent- Harare sex-worker who was caught in a dragnet arrest has been freed after languishing in prison for two days over her client’s offence.
Rutendo Hwata (31) was granted bail following a successful application before a Harare magistrate, Dennis Mangosi who ruled that facts presented to him so far exonerates her.
Hwata was arrested together with her client, Elton Takaruza (39) who sought refugee at her house after committing robberies around Harare.
Takaruza pleaded guilty to armed robbery charges and unlawful possession of firearms charges.
Court heard he was nabbed in possession of a pistol with four spent cartridges.
The two will be back in court on February 13 as now await ballistics reports.
Hwata was granted ZW$20 000 bail.
In granting her bail, the magistrate urged to search her clients first in future before accommodating them to avoid such arrests.
The Investigating Officer Nyarai Risinamwana had told court that Hwata was shocked to learn that her client had a pistol hidden under her bed mattress.
“After committing the offence in a space of two days Takaruza fled to Kuwadzana, where he hooked up with accused number two (Hwata) and hid his pistol under her mattress without her knowledge.
“She was shocked when the pistol was recovered from her residence,” said Risinamwana.
According to the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA), Takaruza used the recovered pistol to commit four counts of armed robbery.
Takaruza targeted vendors and bulk airtime sellers.
Court heard on January 23, Takaruza fled his place of residence in Chitungwiza after committing four robberies and sought refuge at Hwata’s house in Kuwadzana.
It is also alleged that Takaruza was previously arrested by Warren Park Homicide police after he hit a pedestrian with his friend’s car in Warren Park.
By- Opposition Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) has lost two activists on separate occasions this week.
The passing on of activists, Tino Chiremba and Sekuru Garutsa’s deaths was confirmed by the party’s national spokesperson, Fadzayi Mahere.
The news of Tino Chiremba‘s death was made public in a statement seen by Pindula News yesterday. Read Mahere’s announcement:
The CCC family is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our Change Champion, Tino Chiremba. He was a true champion who desired to see A New Great Zimbabwe. He will be missed dearly. We extend our condolences to the Chiremba family on this tragic loss. Rest in power!
In an update, Mahere said those able to contribute to Tino Chiremba’s chema (funeral contributions) could use the link: ( https://www.paypal.com/pools/c/8R3JyfJfNr ).
She described him as a true change champion who pushed the transformation agenda and modelled active citizenship.
Mahere announced Sekuru Garutsa‘s passing on Friday. She said:
The @CCCZimbabwe is sad to announce the passing of Sekuru Garutsa who was a leading change champion & community organizer in Buhera. He always offered his time & resources to further the work of the Movement in his community. May he rest in peace.
By A Correspondent- Colonel (retired) Tshinga Dube (81), a former Cabinet minister and ZANU PF politburo member, defended his most recent appointment to the National Railways of Zimbabwe (NRZ) board yesterday by stating that his mind was still sound and stable enough to contribute to the parastatal.
His latest appointment to the NRZ board by Transport and Infrastructure Development minister Felix Mhona triggered public outcry with some Zimbabweans saying the “struggling” parastatal needed new blood.
Political analyst Rashweat Mukundu is among those who believe Dube should not have been appointed.
He told a local publication that the appointment was testimony that the leadership does not understand what is required to revive NRZ. He told this reporter this Wednesday:
My (Twitter) post was an expression of disappointment over the appointment of an 81-year-old who under normal circumstances must be retired. He was appointed to the board of a struggling state enterprise (NRZ) which obviously needs new thinking, new ideas, of new blood. Zimbabwe has hundreds and hundreds of capable engineers, business managers who can help save the struggling state enterprise.
What I see is kleptocracy meant to benefit them from the SOE. I have nothing personal against him (Dube) as a person, but I’m totally against the appointment.
Dube, who holds a Master’s Degree in Electro-Tech from MADI Institute of Technology in Moscow, Russia, told NewsDay that his mind is very sharp and stable. He is quoted as saying:
I was appointed by my President Emmerson Mnangagwa who is the appointing authority. If you have queries, go and ask him. l have committed no sin to be appointed to the NRZ board, after all, l am not the chief executive officer.
I don’t work on my feet, but I use my brains, and my brain is still stable. l have been in the industry for many years, and have sat on over 20 boards worldwide. l have resuscitated many companies and I don’t care what people say since I would not be able to answer to all of them.
The NRZ announced that Dube would join the board for a three-year term.

By-Opposition Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC), vice chairperson Job Sikhala Thursday failed to attend court after his health deteriorated.
The Zengesa West Member of Parliament is accused of disturbing police investigations into the murder of Morteblessing Ali last year, when he was the slain activist’s family lawyer. Sikhala’s lawyer Harrison Nkomo told Harare Magistrate Marehwanazvo Gofa that the lawmaker, who has been in jail for months, could not attend court because he is unwell, though his illness was not disclosed. He (Sikhala) will be back in court on February 9.
Zimbabwe’s gold mining sector is targeting to raise production to 40 tonnes this year, up from 35.38 tonnes last year, an official said Tuesday.
Last year’s output was a record high, spurred by new mining projects, timely payments, and incentives to miners. Out of the 35.38 tonnes produced last year, small-scale and artisanal miners contributed 65.5 percent, Zimbabwe Miners Federation (ZMF) Chief Executive Officer Wellington Takavarasha said.
Takavarasha told Xinhua that as small-scale miners, they were cautiously optimistic about this year’s prospects due to a number of operational challenges.
The ZMF is the country’s largest body representing artisanal and small-scale miners. Although they have traditionally accounted for more than half the country’s gold output in recent years, they face challenges including a lack of regularization to enhance operational security.
“There are some issues that need to be addressed, and formalization is key. There is a Statutory Instrument that formalizes the operations of artisanal miners, but it is not yet being implemented. As soon as that Statutory Instrument is implemented, even the 40 tonnes can be surpassed,” Takavarasha said.
He said over the past two years, their association has been engaging in educational and awareness campaigns on the need for safe mining practices by artisanal and small-scale miners. This has resulted in improved production by the miners even during the rainy season, as they now practice safe mining methods.
In the past, scores of artisanal miners have died after being trapped in collapsed or flooded mine shafts, often at disused or abandoned gold mines.
Takavarasha commended some large-scale mining companies for helping artisanal and small-scale miners, to whom they have been allocating small claims to work properly and safely.

A 21-year-old nurse at Masvingo General Hospital was raped by a suspected armed robber who caught her in the act her being intimate with her boyfriend in a car in a bushy area next to TelOne offices on the eastern fringes of the city.
The unidentified suspect, who was armed with a pistol, tied the 42-year-old boyfriend’s hands and feet with cellphone charger cables and left him naked in the car while the nurse was dragged to a bushy area and raped on Monday.
Police say the boyfriend managed to loosen the cables and went to a nearby building manned by security guards where he raised alarm. He was assisted to make a police report at Masvingo Central Police Station.
Provincial police spokesperson Inspector Kudakwashe Dhewa said the suspect got away with three cellphones, a laptop and US$20 from the lovebirds before sneaking and disappearing into the bush.
He said police have launched a manhunt for the suspect.
“The suspect, who was armed with a pistol, approached the lovebirds while they were having a nice time before smashing one of the windows and pointing a firearm at them and threatened to shoot if they tried to resist,” said Inspector Dhewa.
The suspect forcibly took two Samsung cellphones from the boyfriend and a G-Tel phone from the girlfriend. The suspect also took US$20 from the boyfriend.
When the woman returned to the car after being raped, she found it abandoned and walked to Masvingo Central Police Station to file a report where she met the boyfriend also making his own report.

Female CCC activists who are part of the 25 arrested last week in Harare’s Budiriro suburb complain they are being fondled in remand prison.
The female activists accused the Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services wardens of transporting them in the same van with male prisoners who were not members of the party, which resulted in them being fondled along the way.
Their lawyers, Wilbert Mandinde, Kudzai Kadzere and Chris Mhike said that one of the accused persons acquired the COVID-19 virus while in prison and has been isolated for 10 days.
Harare magistrate Yeukai Dzuda ordered the State to investigate the abuse and bring the report to court by Friday. Meanwhile, the defence filed the accused persons’ bail applications.
But the State said the accused might join their colleagues to commit similar offences if released on bail.
The defence insisted that bail was a constitutional right and the accused persons’ liberty must be preserved.
They also submitted that the State failed to provide reasons for denying the opposition members bail. The matter was postponed to today for bail application continuation.
Allegations are that on January 14, 2023, the accused persons responded to an invitation for a meeting at Budiriro MP Costa Machingauta’s house.
Last Saturday, the activists who were dressed in their party regalia gathered at Machingauta’s house where they chanted CCC party slogans.
It is State’s case that ZRP Budiriro received a tip off that the accused were gathered illegally and went to investigate.
“Upon arrival at the scene of crime, the police observed that the accused’s conduct was disturbing the peace of a section of members of the public.
The police ordered the accused persons to disperse, but they resisted leading to their arrest. The accused had no lawful excuse to act in the manner they did,” the State submitted. Newsday

A couple chained up, tortured their maid (19) and poured boiling water into her genitals for allegedly stealing US$200.
Thembelani Moyo (28) and Sibongile Mpofu (28) who stay at Vukuzenzele village in Filabusi and work at Senga Hill Mill Mine, breathed fire when they arrived home unexpectedly on New Year’s Eve and discovered that US$200 which they had kept in their wardrobe was missing.
They quizzed their house maid- who cannot be named for ethical reasons- but she vehemently denied ever seeing the money. Her denials sparked fury in the couple.
They set upon her with everything they could lay their hands on. Moyo went caveman and grabbed a log to bash the hapless teenager while his wife, unleashed Kungfu kicks and punches. Realising that she was staring death in the face, the battered maid croaked out a confession.
She told her employers that she had squandered US$169 and was left with US$31 which she surrendered to the uncompromising pair.
A neighbour, Simangaliso Moyo, escalated the violence when she arrived with a sjambok and mercilessly whipped the chained teen.
The torture reached a crescendo when Mpofu allegedly boiled water which she poured onto the half-dead maid’s private parts. She allegedly told the victim that it would stop her from having sex with any man.
The maid sustained horrific injuries. After the vicious attack the couple rubbed salt into the wound by reporting the teenager to the police, for theft leading to her arrest.
However the maid’s appearance before Filabusi magistrate Abednico Ndebele, where she pleaded guilty to theft, opened a can of worms for the couple.
The maid stunned the gallery with a tear-jerking exposé of her ordeal. Moyo admitted that they had chained her to stop her from running away.
The magistrate ordered that the teenager must be examined by a State doctor and remanded her out of custody.
While she was out of custody she reported the couple and Simangaliso, for assaulting her and scalding her on her private parts with hot water to the police.
A medical report detailing the extent of the injuries on the maid’s privates was availed in her second court appearance.
Magistrate Ndebele sentenced the teen to six months in prison, suspended four months for three years on condition that she does not commit an offence involving dishonesty and suspended the rest on condition that she restitutes US$169.
The couple and their neighbour were arrested for assault and appeared before Filabusi magistrate Sukoluhle Belinda Nunu last Wednesday.
Magistrate Nunu remanded them out of custody on $40 000 bail each, to 3 February for trial.

Citizens Coalition for Change Namibia commemorates its 1st anniversary today!
24 January 2023
Citizens in Namibia who subscribe to the yellow revolution championed by the organic and pragmatic leader President Advocate Nelson Chamisa join the rest of the globe in the historic commemorations of the 1st anniversary of CCC since its inception on the 24th of January 2022.
Today is a special day for all change champions in Zimbabwe and the diaspora as we wish the people’s party a resounding victory against the politically inept ZANU-PF party.
On this particular day, the people’s party was announced to the patiently waiting citizens at Bronte Hotel after it was established on the 22nd of January 2022. The party was formed after heated squabbles arose over the party name “MDC Alliance”.
The diligent change champion-in-chief presented yellow as the new color and raised an index finger as the new symbol. After forming the vibrant and oversubscribed party, most MDC Alliance MPs and councilors who displayed absolute allegiance to President Chamisa were illegally recalled by the ZANU-PF-backed Douglas Mwonzora, who took over MDC Alliance.
By-elections were later called in the 28 seats which were conducted on 26 March 2022 in which the new baby (CCC) scooped 19 and the ZANU-PF party rigged 9 seats with over-ambitious Douglas Mwonzora harvesting zeros at most polling stations.
Weeks before the by-elections saw government-sponsored violence against CCC(including violence at a CCC rally in Kwekwe which led to the human butchery of Mboneni Ncube, unjustified behavior from the captured Zimbabwe Republic Police(ZRP) which include the banning of CCC rallies across the breadth and lengths of the motherland, beating up of innocent party supporters, arbitrary arrests of party officials such as Tendai Biti and Madzibaba veShanduko.
Change champions are quite cobra-headed on the continued spate of state-sponsored violence in the motherland targeted at CCC members. We have endured politically motivated violence at the hands of ZANU-PF thugs who continue with impunity. Our old-aged members are brutally assaulted and jailed without trial for long periods. Women are being stripped naked and sexually abused for belonging to the yellow train. There was violence in all rural areas visited by the political dynamo, President Advocate Nelson Chamisa.
Job Saro Wiwa Sikhala is still incarcerated since June 14 because he is the Vice Chairperson of this great movement.
14 others from Nyatsime including Hon Godfrey Karakadzayi Sithole endured more than 5 months at Chikurubi Maximum Prison on concocted charges. The movement lost Moreblessing Ali in Nyatsime, she was callously murdered for belonging to the change that delivers. We call upon all progressive citizens across the globe to amplify their voices clamoring for the immediate release of the Budiriro 26 and all prisoners of conscience.
OFTEN, it is men who find themselves behind bars for allegedly having sexually attacked women or girls.
However in this bizarre incident, it is a woman who hankered for and allegedly seduced a toddler.
Ntombiyosizi Ndlovu (41) from Pumula South suburb in Bulawayo is behind bars after she appeared before Western Commonage Court Regional magistrate Sibongile Msipa-Marondodze for having sexual intercourse with a minor aged eight years old.
She pleaded not guilty and was remanded in custody to 27 January for trial. A court heard that Ndlovu saw the boy playing with his friends outside his home and instantly lusted after him. She could not control her depraved desires and called him to help read a WhatsApp message on her phone.
The unsuspecting minor respectfully rushed to assist. Ndlovu, who was salivating at the unholy thoughts running through her mind, walked the boy into her bedroom where she locked the door to avoid interruptions.
The court heard, she stripped naked and played with the boy’s manhood and sucked it causing the boy’s sexual temperatures to shoot up.
She had sex with him and that was to be the start of the many sexual encounters that ended in shame for the woman. After the boy had been robbed of his innocence, he allegedly frequented Ndlovu’s house for sexcapades and that ended up raising his grandmother’s suspicion.
With great foreboding, she questioned her grandson. Her worst fears were confirmed.
The youngster sang like a canary, leaving no detail about his numerous sex encounters with Ndlovu. In a daze, the granny staggered to a police station and reported the incident leading to Ndlovu’s arrest. -B Metro
State Media – FIVE suspected carjackers targeting motorists while masquerading as genuine travellers in Harare and Beitbridge have been arrested.
The suspects were mainly targeting taxi drivers and robbing them of their cars and valuables.
CID acting spokesperson Detective Assistant Inspector Rachel Muteweri said the same carjacking gang was operating in central Harare and Beitbridge between April last year and this month.
“This prompted the Zimbabwe Republic Police to launch a manhunt. On 16 January 2023, Bill Tirihama alias Machingura aged 26 of 1447, Chinamano, Epworth, Harare, Narvick Nhowa aged 28 and John Kamba aged 42 all of Highfield, Harare; John Allan Nyoni aged 21 and Tichaona Dhava aged 26 of Beitbridge were arrested after detectives from CID Braeside intercepted them driving a Honda Fit,” she said.
She said further investigations revealed that the vehicle was reportedly stolen from Beitbridge and that the suspects had committed similar offences in Harare and Beitbridge.
The suspects later led a team of detectives to a bushy area near Mangava Shopping Centre in Beitbridge where a pellet gun and toy gun used in the commission of the crimes were recovered.
“The accused persons are now clearing four cases of robbery of motor vehicles. In one robbery on December 21 last year at about 4am, the gang approached a taxi parked at Mashakada Shopping Centre, Beitbridge and hired the driver to New Stands in Beitbridge.
Along the way, they robbed him of his motor vehicle at gunpoint and drove off leaving him stranded,” Detective Asst Insp Muteweri said.
She said using the same modus operandi, the suspects robbed another complainant of his Toyota Sienta on December 24 at 10.20pm in Harare. They hired the driver from a night club in central Harare to Lochnivar.
Along the way, they robbed him of his vehicle at gun point, shoved him out of the vehicle and drove off.
The five have since appeared before Magistrate Mr Stanford Mambanje at Harare Magistrates Court where they were remanded in custody to today for routine remand.
“As the Zimbabwe Republic Police, we continue to encourage motorists to maintain a high level of security on their vehicles by installing alarm systems, anti-hijack systems and tracking devices.
“Keys should be removed from the ignition port and doors locked whenever the motor vehicle is left unattended.
“To taxi operators, it is advisable to always vet customers before offering services to them.
“For more information feel free to contact CID Vehicle Theft Squad (VTS) on 0242 665524, CID VTS Bulawayo on 0292 64047, PGHQ Whatsapp number 0712 800 197 or the National Complaints Desk on 0242 703631,” Detective Asst Insp Muteweri said. -state media

A STATE witness in the trial of Zengeza West MP Job Sikhala yesterday said the charge he was facing of inciting people to commit public violence in a video clip published in 2020 was based on assumptions that he was the one addressing viewers of the video.
Police officer commanding law and order Edmore Runganga told the court that they did not authenticate the video clip.
Prosecutor Tendai Shonhai had asked the witness to explain how Sikhala was charged without authenticating the audio and video clips submitted in court as exhibits.
Runganga said in the audio, Sikhala is heard saying the police were hunting for him, which was a fact on the ground.
He said it gave them confidence that it was him speaking.
Runganga was the third State witness to testify in the matter and the State said it intends to call another witness on Monday for trial continuation.
On Monday this week, the court viewed Sikhala’s alleged video clip which was filmed while he reportedly committed the offence.
Sikhala is facing other charges that include obstructing the course of justice and inciting the public to commit public violence in a case that has seen him clock close to seven months in remand prison.
By A Correspondent| Harare upmarket school, Dominican Convent has expelled eight pupils for drug abuse during an Upper Six trip to Nyanga early this month.
In a letter to parents, the school said the eight students were found guilty of violating the school drug policy.
“I write on a sad note to notify you that 8 girls we had put on suspension pending investigations on an incident that took place at the 2023 U6 leadership camp which was held in Nyanga from the 12th to the 15th of January, have been excluded from the school with immediate effect,” said Sister Kudzai Mutsure.
She urged parents of the expelled girls to take their kids for rehabilitation their children to modify their inappropriate behavior.
I pray that the girls will receive the rehabilitation they need and that all parents take an active role, in partnership with the school to modify the inappropriate behavior of their children.
She also lashed at parents for hampering the school efforts to protect children from the dangers of substance abuse due to denial.
“I believe that school officials’ efforts to protect students from the dangers of substance abuse are sometimes hampered by parents and community members in denial about pervasiveness of the problem and the potential for any child to succumb to the lures of drugs,” added Sister Mutsure.

Past election statistics have shown that many Zimbabweans don‘t make use of their vote, particularly the younger generations. In the 2018 presidential elections, less than half of 18-29 year olds didn’t vote.
Joining forces from across the sectors, brands in the technology, retail and entertainment realms are hoping to encourage eligible voters to make their voices heard in the upcoming Zimbabwean elections.
Strategies vary from parties creating everything from voting merchandise, to campaigns encouraging the general public to go out and vote.
ln the coming elections People must be concerned about misleading campaign techniques from the opposition and bias in the opposition media. We must be very careful about the presentation, tone and content of election campaigns by the opposition. They demonise their country blaming ZANU PF for all the problems the country is facing.
As Zimbabweans we must monitor digital campaigning during the election period for risks to democratic processes from foreign interference and organised disinformation. The work to examine these aspects must be ongoing after the election.
CCC has made poverty and economic dip as their campaign topic. The misleading campaign techniques risk undermining voters trust.
Democracies rely on campaigners being able to communicate with voters. In return, voters need to be able to trust the information that campaigners are giving them.
The whole world is under economic depression the economic problems are being faced by every nation on earth. It is mischievous and total idiocy for CCC to use the economic meltdown as their campaign theme.
Zimbabwe is not suffering as a result of misrule or mismanagement as always said by the opposition. Promising you a Canaan is misleading. A promise to give you milk and honey if you vote opposition is a clear lie demonic and misleading. Do not be mislead by being promised heaven by the devil. Zimbabwe is set for greater days if it remains under MNANGAGWA.
You must always remember that with ZANU PF “You’ll Never Walk Alone’
Through trials and triumphs, ZANU PF has been there to mark these moments with the possibility of hope and the shared optimism of brighter days.
We must all be focused be brave we must wear a survival kit
to make the wait a little more comfortable ahead of the presidential elections.
The road to the State House is long, expensive, and exhausting. Becoming a candidate is only the beginning of the election process. Successful candidates must both persuade voters that they deserve their individual votes and garner the critical votes of electors. Those campaigning must not make people get confused. We must stand for the truth and protect our freedom which came flowing in the flood of blood of our children parents and brothers and sisters.
Persuading voters is the essence of a political campaign. Advertising, theme songs, stump speeches, and even negative campaigning have been around since our country began, enjoying freedom to vote brought by ZANU PF and each advance in technology since then has offered new opportunities for candidates to persuade voters.
Would the figures of
Colonialism and oppression sway a modern voter?
A review of the evidence leaves no doubt election campaigns do matter in a variety of important ways. The serious questions concern when, where, why, how, for what, and for whom they matter.
As we go towards the elections Some opposition campaigners will brand their social media pages in ways that meant it wasn’t clear who was responsible for them, or used misleading website links to encourage people to visit their sites. Some will use edited video clips to present their opponents negatively. This negativity goes beyond elections.
The country will be painted with disgusting negativity. It will suffer long after elections.
Lying to voters should not be tolerated we must make our campaigns truthful.
The opposition has no capacity to turn our economy round. Their campaign is a lie an you must not vote based on a lie. Be wise vote wisely. Vote ZANU PF.
A Harare sex-worker who was caught in a dragnet arrest has been freed after languishing in prison for two days over her client’s offence.
It is also alleged that Takaruza was previously arrested by Warren Park Homicide police after he hit a pedestrian with his friend’s car in Warren Park

Government has lifted an earlier ban imposed on bus operator Zebra Kiss saying they are satisfied by the measures put in place by the operator to checkmate recurrence of violations of terms and conditions of service.
In a statement, Transport and Infrastructural Development minister, Felix Mhona said the lifting of Zebra Kiss ban follows the company’s submission of comprehensive measures to avert similar incidents in future.
“The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructural Development wishes to advise the public that it has lifted the suspension of the licence for operation of all omnibuses belonging to Tashilyt Investments trading as Zebra Kiss.
“The lifting of the suspension follows the submission of comprehensive measures that have been put in place by TashIlyt Investments to avert such incidents In future. After a meticulous consideration of the submission, the Ministry is satisfied that the measures that have been mainstreamed by the Operator are adequate to checkmate recurrence of operational behaviours which can be Interpreted as violations of terms and conditions of the licence,” said Mhona.
Zebra Kiss was banned together with Rimbi Tours after two of their buses were involved in a racing incident that was captured on a video before they were involved in an accident that claimed one life.
Mhona did not say anything about Rimbi Tours which remains banned from operating on the country roads.
Government spokesperson Alpheous Nxumalo warned against the “speculation and insinuation” on social media platforms.
In a public statement released on Sunday, Nxumalo said the government disassociated itself and the country’s authorities from the murder.
“Such speculations are dangerous as they hamper investigations and take the attention away from the real criminals,” said Nxumalo.
The secretary general of the Law Society of Swaziland, Charity Simelane, said there had been a dark cloud over the country’s legal profession since the killing of Maseko.
“We are truly saddened. The law society has lost an icon, a pioneer in his field [who was also] its former secretary general from 2018 to 2021. We have lost a true and dedicated defender of human rights and the rule of law. The loss of Thulani Rudolf Maseko has left a huge void and massive shoes to fill within the legal fraternity.”
Former South African public protector Thuli Madonsela said the killing of Maseko had shocked the human rights community to its core.
“For us in South Africa, this has similarities with the killing of Bheki Langa by apartheid dark forces. Whether authorised or not authorised by the powers that be, all indications are that this is an assassination and not a random crime,” said Madonsela, who holds the chair in Social Justice at Stellenbosch University.
“If it’s true that it is an assassination then it is logical to conclude that his only crime [was] to help the people of Eswatini to resist oppression and repression and demand democracy and social justice.”
Maseko was killed less than six hours after King Mswati, eSwatini’s absolute monarch, threatened to “deal with those calling for democracy”. The king was addressing his regiments at eNgabezweni Palace when he made the comment.
Mswati’s spokesperson, Percy Simelane saidthat at this early stage, it was difficult to know who shot Maseko.
“With intelligence still missing, we find it very difficult to know who exactly killed lawyer Thulani Maseko and why. Police are still investigating and we believe in the end the truth will prevail.
“At the moment, the information highway is jammed with speculation and insinuation on which we cannot professionally base our argument. We elect to wait for intelligence to be available,” said Simelane.
On Sunday, the European Union spokesperson for foreign affairs and security policy, Nabila Massrali, released a statement condemning the assassination of Maseko and called for urgent political dialogue to restore peace and stability in the volatile kingdom.
“Since June 2021, the EU, as a long-standing and reliable partner of the country, has followed with grave concern the situation in eSwatini.
“The EU urges the authorities to launch comprehensive and inclusive dialogue as a matter of urgency and priority, on terms facilitated by [the Southern African Development Community], towards national reconciliation, respect for human rights and the rule of law and, ultimately, lasting peace,” reads the statement.
National Constitutional Assembly (NCA) leader Professor Lovemore Madhuku has urged Zimbabweans to accept political diversity and be tolerant to one another.
Speaking at a funeral of his relative in his Chipinge home town early this year, Madhuku urged people to accept political diversity.
“Political parties are like churches, you can be in Jeke Mission church where you dance in a particular way which your relative may not be able to imitate, lets be tolerant to that,” said Madhuku.
He further urged people to love one another regardless of different political choices
“We should love one another, despite supporting different political parties
“Supporting different political parties does not take away your relationship whether its your mother or father or sister, you remain relatives,” added Madhuku.
Meanwhile, commenting on Information Secretary Nick Mangwana’s Twitter post where he shared Madhuku’s video, social media users accused Zanu PF of being the stumbling block to political tolerance in the country.
“The problem lies in you guys and your philosophy of idiocy which makes you believe that violence is the only tool to address differences,” said Obey Sithole.
“You ask the question you know the answer to. Everyone including you yourself know that your party loves political fights. You guys beat up people in Murehwa just a few weeks ago. Why?,” said one Big O.
“A lesson to zanupf. They are the ones who do not tolerate CCC but has soft spots for their proxy small political parties. Other leaders’ political meetings are cleared by the police very quickly. When it comes to CCC it’s an uphill struggle to get clearance,” said TK.
By Wilbert Mukori- It is a matter of public record that Bishop Nehemiah Mutendi of Zion Christian Church (ZCC) is one of Zimbabwe’s many church leaders who have received farms, generous bank loans and many other benefits from the Zanu PF in return for his blind support of the corrupt and tyrannical regime. Bishop Mutendi must remember that Zanu PF propaganda is not historic fact and must never confuse the two. Never!
“Bishop Mutendi said unity among different ethnic groups in the country dates back to December 1987 when the late former President Robert Mugabe and the late Vice President Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo signed the Unity Accord which brought together PF-Zapu and Zanu (PF),” reported The Chronicle.
Correction! The 1983 to 1987 Gukurahundi massacre was about coercing Dr Joshua Nkomo and his PF Zapu supporters into giving up their democratic right to belong to a political party of their own choice and for the said party to contest for public office in free, fair and credible elections. Lest anyone should forget the 1979 Lancaster House constitution made Zimbabwe a multi-party democratic republic.
PF Zapu was, without doubt, Zanu PF’s main political opponent in post independent Zimbabwe.
So, after five long years of reign of terror and barbarism at the hands of state security services that left hundreds of thousands of mainly PF Zapu leaders and supporters beaten and maimed to say nothing of the destroyed properties and livelihoods and over 20 000 innocent civilians murdered in cold blood; PF Zapu finally buckled and signed the so called Unity Accord. It was PF Zapu capitulation, clearing the way for Zanu PF to impose the de facto one-party dictatorship which the regime has ruthless enforced under the pretext of unity, peace and development.
“Let’s be careful of external forces who turn us against each other. As citizens, we should not allow individuals and organisations being sponsored by Western countries to divide us,” Bishop Mutendi told his audience in Gwanda.
“For us to develop our country, we must remain united and maintain peace. As a church, including leaders of the country, we should continue praying for our country.”
How naïve! Zimbabwe is a textbook failed state; a pariah state ruled by corrupt, incompetent and murderous thugs who rig elections to retain absolute power whilst the loot the nation blind. Four decades of gross mismanagement and rampant corruption have left the country in economic ruins, basic services such as education and health care have collapsed and 49% of our people now live in abject poverty.
Zanu PF is rigging the 2023 elections and, to be absolutely certain of victory, the regime will brazenly use wanton violence just as it did during Gukurahundi and the 2008 run-off.
“We would like to thank Bishop Mutendi for the work that he is doing by moving around the country preaching peace and development. This is the kind of partnership that we need as Government,” Matabeleland South Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister, Abedinico Ncube, praised Bishop Mutendi.
“Church leaders play a crucial role in the community and we need them to change the mindset of the people and to bring everyone on board. As churches let’s continue to play our part in building society.”
The church and church leaders have always been the last line of defence, calling for peace, justice and rule of law, speaking truth to power, on behave of the oppressed and voiceless. Not so in Zimbabwe, the church leaders are Zanu PF political commissars spreading party propaganda from the pulpit for a share of the spoils of absolute power.
Church leaders praying for peace knowing all along that it is the Zanu PF regime; they are crediting for bringing peace, unity and development; whose insatiable greed for power and loot is the root cause of the country’s culture of political violence and tyranny, the economic meltdown and the tragic human suffering.
With Zimbabwe’s political, economic and political stability now at stake; we, Zimbabweans, own to ourselves and posterity to tell sell outs like Bishop Mutendi they are sell outs! Shut up! Church leaders like Bishop Mutendi are the pastors from hell!

LATE MDC-T leader, Morgan Tsvangirai’s son, Mr Vincent Tsvangirai, says there is no single opposition party in Zimbabwe with the capacity to defeat the ruling party, Zanu-PF, in the forthcoming elections.
As the country gears towards the harmonised elections this year, Mr Tsvangirai says the level of disintegration in the opposition ranks has condemned those parties to a straight defeat against the solid and strongly united ruling party.
This comes at a time when the revolutionary party, Zanu-PF, has consolidated it strength under President Mnangagwa with massive development successes amid prevailing peace and tranquility within its structures.
The ruling party has already set the political maturity pace as it held a successful congress last October where President Mnangagwa was unanimously elected party President and candidate for this year’s harmonised elections.
While the Douglas Mwonzora-led MDC-T claims to have held its elective congress last December, senior members of the party have dismissed this as a none event, resulting in chaos as members are challenging the legitimacy of the resolutions.
Last week, the party suspended seven senior members – former party vice president, Senator Elias Mudzuri, Mr Norest Marara, secretary for business and projects, Mr Gift Konjana, chairperson Mashonaland West province, Mr John Nyika, chairperson Masvingo province, Mr Den Moyo, chairperson USA province, Mr Edwin Dzambara, secretary for education and Mr Edwin Kakora a national executive member, over a litany of charges including allegations that they were working with unidentified elements deemed hostile to the party.
The crew has, however, rejected their censure saying they do not recognise the presidency of Sen Mwonzora as his election was not done in line with the party’s constitution.
On the other hand, Mr Nelson Chamisa’s Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) party still remains structureless and is yet to hold its inaugural congress.
Another opposition party, Zapu, led by Mr Sibangilizwe Nkomo, has never known peace since the death of national hero, Cde Dumiso Dabengwa.
In November last year, Mr Nkomo expelled five senior members, Mr Matthew Sibanda, Mr Ernest Ndlovu, Ms Mildred Mkandla, Mr Akim Nkala, and Dr Strike Mkandla on the grounds that they had chosen a path that would harm the party.
The five hit back and labeled Mr Nkomo an illegitimate leader of the party.
Reflecting on these in an exclusive interview with Chronicle, Mr Tsvangirai, a Glen View South House of Assembly representative under the MDC-T banner, said only a united opposition coalition may, perhaps, have a chance of challenging the revolutionary party, otherwise, it will all just be unnecessary noise.
He admitted that his own MDC-T was having serious fissures at the moment, which were not helpful to the organisation.
Mr Tsvangirai said even the imaginary popularity of the Citizens’ Coalition for Change (CCC) party would not propel it to the State House, adding that it was a far cry for anyone to think that its leader Mr Chamisa can land the presidency.
He also said he does not believe in the way Mr Chamisa leads his organisation, adding that if they were to meet, he will greet him like a brother but still be frank about his opinion of him.
Mr Tsvangirai said it was for such differences in political ideology that he was not part of CCC.
“I don’t have any personal differences with Mr Chamisa. I simply don’t believe in the way he leads. If we met today I would greet him as a brother but still be frank with my opinion of him, as I am with everyone,” he said.
“Honesty in this game gains you enemies, unfortunately.”

Tinashe Sambiri|The Citizens Coalition for Change( CCC) Namibia has accused King Mswati 111 of killing top Eswatini lawyer Thulani Maseko.
See below CCC Namibia statement on the death of Maseko.
Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) Namibia blasts King Mswati 111 for the brutal murder of the Lawyer & Human Rights Defender, Thulani Maseko!
23 January 2023
Citizens Coalition for Change Namibia is infuriated by the continued human butchery of lawyers, political activists, students, and human rights defenders in eSwatini since 2021. As a pro-democracy movement, we urge SADC, African Union, and the United Nations to investigate the callous murder of the renowned lawyer and human rights defender ,Thulani Maseko.
Thulani Maseko was just fighting for the advent of constitutional democracy in eSwatini. It is not a crime to clamor for a representative democracy where people are allowed to participate in the national discourse. The people of eSwatini are longing for democratic elections that will see monarchism sinking into oblivion. Namibia district encourages SADC to speak out in condemnation of this gross abuse of the universal fundamental human rights in eSwatini. May the revolutionary soul of Thulani Maseko rest in power.
This culture of dictatorship in Southern Africa must be resisted with equal measure. All progressive citizens in SADC countries should amplify their revolutionary voices against state repression. The ruthless monarchist is the one who sent his hitmen to decimate the life of our diligent lawyer and human rights defender because of his advocacy for constitutionalism as well as the rule of law.
In the recent week in Zimbabwe, we saw human rights defender Kudzai Kadzere brutally attacked by the captured Zimbabwe Republic Police(ZRP). Citizens Coalition for Change Namibia condemns both the Harare regime and Mswati’s monarchy for their behavior towards social democrats and human rights lawyers . Lawyer Kudzai Kadzere was left with broken arms in the course of representing the arbitrarily arrested CCC Budiriro 26 who include Hon Amos Chibaya, Hon Costa Machingauta, CLR Mukwada, Star from change radio, and others.
Progressive inhabitants of SADC should unite against these monsters who don’t respect the sanctity of life. Firing two bullets in the head of the lawyer is beyond satanism. We demand justice for Thulani Maseko. These assassins must be brought to book. Mswati and his ruthless counterpart in Zimbabwe should face the fury of social democrats. It is sad to inform the globe that Hon Job Saro Wiwa Sikhala is still caged at Chikurubi Maximum Security Prison on trumped-up charges since 14 June 2022. Sikhala has endured incarceration for more than 7 months now for demanding justice for Moreblessing Ali who was abducted and later murdered in cold blood by a ZANU-PF thug, Pius Jamba.
The battle against lawyers must be thwarted in its infancy. Job Sikhala was arrested whilst representing the Ali family. He was both the family spokesperson and lawyer who led a successful search for Moreblessing Ali. We demand justice for all political prisoners. Rest in peace Thulani Maseko, your blood shall water the freedom tree. Maseko was shot in the presence of his wife and children after the King had given a stern warning to those who were advocating for the democratization of eSwatini.

The Change Champion met Honorable Job Sikhala who was at the court for the continuation of his trial in the alleged case of inciting public violence in 2020.
Hon Sikhala who has so far spent more than 223 days in jail without trial was in high spirit.
The Change Champion in Chief also conversed with the #Budiriro26 who were arrested 11 days ago for attending an internal meeting for our party at a private residence in Budiriro.
Their bail hearing continues at 2pm
We continue to celebrate our 1st Anniversary even under such circumstances knowing very well that victory is guaranteed in the upcoming elections.
We soldier on for we know nothing lasts forever and no amount of victimization and persecution will stop an idea whose time has come.
Bayern Munich forward Sadio Mane has returned to training after recovering from a leg injury which kept him out of the 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign in November last year.
The 30-year-old had surgery after picking the injury during Bayern’s 6-1 home win against Werder Bremen on November 8.
The Senegal international was filmed at Munich’s Saebener Strasse training ground, saying: “Hey, it’s a great feeling, after a long holiday, to be back.”
Mane, who arrived last summer from Liverpool, will not be involved in Bayern’s game at home against Cologne later on Tuesday.- Soccer24 Zimbabwe

By Own Correspondent| Like many other young, educated Zimbabweans, Terrence Sithole wanted to work for the prosperity of Zimbabwe.
Sithole says he wants to see a better Zimbabwe where everyone has equal opportunities.
However, Sithole said this was not to be the case in a Zimbabwe which had been ruled by only known two Presidents and ZANU PF since it attained independence four decades ago.
“Four decades of corrupt and tyrannical ruling party dictatorship have taken a heavy toll on Zimbabwe. The education and health sector have collapsed and almost half the population is living in abject poverty,” he said.
Thus in 2013, Sithole told himself that the only way of changing the status quo was to join the opposition party- the then MDC Alliance.
As the deputy organising secretary for Highfield West, Sithole was responsible for mobilizing and recruiting youth to join the Party and participate in the programs.
Highfield, where Sithole hails, has always been a hot bed of nationalistic politics in the pre independence era and opposition politics in the post-independence Zimbabwe.
Thus, it was not a coincidence that on 11 March 2008, an opposition activist Gift Tandare was shot dead by riot police on his way to a prayer meeting organised by the Save Zimbabwe Coalition in Highfield.
So, the area is always under the spotlight by the state security agents.
“So, it is the same residential area I stayed, and it’s known for being an opposition politics stronghold. Our supervisors would sternly emphasise on our safety when carrying out our day-to-day tasks as the risks associated were very high and would sometimes result in loss of life or extreme torturing from state agents or watch dogs,” said Sithole.
Little did he know that state security agents were watching. On the 20th of June in 2022 Sithole was abducted by two state security agents who purported to be police detectives at Highfield Shopping centre only to be released three days later with no charge against him.
They wanted to nail him for being among the architects of the Nyatsime violence which rocked Chitungwiza a culmination of opposition activist Moreblessing Sithole an opposition politics activist who was abducted and murdered by known ruling party activist Pius Jamba.
“While being held incognito, I suffered harassment and torture in the hands of state security agents for three solid days,” he said.
After all, he is brother to opposition party parliamentarian Godfrey Sithole who was also arrested for the Nyatsime violence.
“My family was not spared as well as they also became targets of the state security agents and ZANU PF militias who harassed them such that they had to flee from home”.
Sithole has since gone into hiding. Hundreds more other opposition politics activists have gone into hiding as security agents intensify a crackdown as the country gears for the watershed 2023 elections.
By-Zanu PF President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s parallel structures have divided the ruling party.
In the run-up to the Zanu PF’s last year’s internal party elections, Mnangagwa created several 4ED structures.
The party now wants to use these to drum up support for Mnangagwa ahead of national elections scheduled for this year.
Zanu PF Political Commissar, Mike Bimha, said these 4ED groups were dividing the party.
The Herald quotes Bimha as saying:
Your task is to lure members who are not in the structures of the party. You should not come to us and claim members who are already in our structures. Whenever you have new members, they should be integrated in the party structures.
We don’t want affiliates who fish our members from our structures and claim them to be theirs.
The party is targeting to mobilise more than 5 million members for President Mnangagwa and the party to ensure a resounding victory in the coming elections.
Recently, Bimha criticised the affiliations for demanding funding from the ruling party.
Men believED, Miners for ED, Teachers for ED, Health workers for ED, Councillors for ED and Driving Schools for ED are among the structures aligning with the ruling party.
By- Deputy Higher education minister Raymond Machingura’s aide Ashirai Mawere has been arrested for fraud.
Mawere was arraigned to the courts for fraud after allegedly selling non-existent land.
Mawere (36) appeared before Magistrate Elizabeth Hanzi last week and was remanded to Wednesday.
In the State case, Mawere allegedly sold a piece of land to Clever Sibiya measuring 7 hectares at plot No 25 Ravenwood Farm in Chipinge and converted the amount to his own use. The total cost of the land was US$6150. Sibiya paid for the land using World Remit and was given a recommendation letter. When Sibiya wanted to clear the land he found the actual owners working on it. On realising that he was duped, he reported the matter to Police leading to Mawere’s arrest on December 29, 2022. Sibiya suffered a total prejudice of US$6150 and nothing has been recovered. Mawere is represented by Tariro Tazvitya of Bere Brothers. Masvingo Mirror

Zimbabwe’s Kadewere is far behind in the race, having made just three appearances thus far, all from the bench.
Voting for the MVP is underway and it closes this Sunday.
Cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer among women globally, with an estimated 604 000 new cases and 342 000 deaths in 2020. About 90% of the new cases and deaths worldwide in 2020 occurred in low- and middle-income countries (1).
Two human papillomavirus (HPV) types (16 and 18) are responsible for nearly 50% of high grade cervical pre-cancers HPV is mainly transmitted through sexual contact and most people are infected with HPV shortly after the onset of sexual activity. More than 90% of them clear the infection eventually.
Women living with HIV are 6 times more likely to develop cervical cancer compared to women without HIV.
Vaccination against HPV and screening and treatment of pre-cancer lesions is a cost-effective way to prevent cervical cancer. Cervical cancer can be cured if diagnosed at an early stage and treated promptly.
Comprehensive cervical cancer control includes primary prevention (vaccination against HPV), secondary prevention (screening and treatment of pre-cancerous lesions), tertiary prevention (diagnosis and treatment of invasive cervical cancer) and palliative care.
Overview Worldwide, cervical cancer is the fourth most frequent cancer in women with an estimated 604 000 new cases in 2020. Of the estimated 342 000 deaths from cervical cancer in 2020, about 90% of these occur in low- and middle-income countries. Women living with HIV are 6 times more likely to develop cervical cancer compared to women without HIV, and an estimated 5% of all cervical cancer cases are attributable to HIV (2). Moreover, in all world regions the contribution of HIV to cervical cancer falls disproportionately on younger women.
In high-income countries, programmes are in place which enable girls to be vaccinated against HPV and women to get screened regularly and treated adequately. Screening allows pre-cancerous lesions to be identified at stages when they can easily be treated.
In low-and middle-income countries, there is limited access to these preventative measures and cervical cancer is often not identified until it has further advanced and symptoms develop. In addition, access to treatment of cancerous lesions (for example, cancer surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy) may be limited, resulting in a higher rate of death from cervical cancer in these countries.
The high mortality rate from cervical cancer globally (age standardized rate among women: 13.3/100 000 in 2020) could be reduced by effective interventions at different stages of life.
HPV and cervical cancer A large majority of cervical cancer (more than 95%) is due to the human papillomavirus (HPV).
HPV is the most common viral infection of the reproductive tract. Most sexually active women and men will be infected at some point in their lives, and some may be repeatedly infected. More than 90% of the infected populations eventually clear the infection.
Cervical cancer is by far the most common HPV-related disease. Nearly all cases of cervical cancer can be attributed to HPV infection.
Although most HPV infections clear up on their own and most pre-cancerous lesions resolve spontaneously, there is a risk for all women that HPV infection may become chronic and pre-cancerous lesions progress to invasive cervical cancer.
It takes 15 to 20 years for cervical cancer to develop in women with normal immune systems. It can take only 5 to 10 years in women with weakened immune systems, such as those with untreated HIV infection.
Cervical cancer control: a comprehensive approach The Global strategy towards eliminating cervical cancer as a public health problem, adopted by the World Health Assembly in 2020, recommends a comprehensive approach to cervical cancer prevention and control. The recommended actions include interventions across the life course.
Newsday

Devolution is the new revolution! What do you think??

The Change Champion met Honorable Job Sikhala who was at the court for the continuation of his trial in the alleged case of inciting public violence in 2020.

By A Correspondent- A disgruntled b0yfriǝnd has exposed a marr!ed w0man after she cheɑtǝd with his close friend.
The l0ve triangle left one Tariro or Mai Denzel with egg on her face after her disgruntled b0yfriǝnd sent nɑʞǝd pictures to her husband.
Reports are that, the b0yfriend, one Daniel Parangeta, from Chimhanda village in Rushinga was riled by Tariro’s decision to dump him for his friend.
This didn’t go down well with him and he exposed Tariro to her husbɑnd, who confronted her.
The matter has since been circulating on social media after the husbɑnd forced her to confess by calling her relatives to inform them about her shenaningans. In some audios, Tariro was made to confess to her brother over the phone in the presence of her husbɑnd who was heard telling her what to say.
“I was dat!ng someone, so I later dumped him and started dat!ng another one. I didn’t know they knew each other. So, he discovered that affa!r and told my husbɑnd.
“He also showed him some n_udǝ picturǝs of me that I had sent him,” Tariro said.
Baba Denzel said Daniel had sent him Tariro’s n_udǝs via WhatsApp.
“I was surprised when her b0yfriend Daniel told me about his relati0nship with my wife as if that was not enough, he then sent my wife’s n_udǝ picturǝs as proof that indeed were in l0vǝ.
“I then confronted my wife about the issue and asked her about Daniel and she ran away.
“I then received a phone call from Daniel asking why I asked Tariro about the issue and he later told me that Tariro was hiding in my landlord’s house,” said Baba Denzel.
Baba Denzel asked his wife’s relatives to come and fetch her.
“It’s not the first time she is doing this. I caught her in Mbare and she came ikoko akabatwa futi.
“She was even sending them n_udǝ picturǝs and showing them new pant!es.
“She has two boyfriends.”
Baba Denzel told his brother in-law to come and collect his sister.
“Come and get your sister, you have to take her today,” he said calmly.
Tariro’s mother also talked to her on the phone.
“You are a marriǝd woman, why were you doing that my daughter. I am embarrassed by your conduct. Why were you doing it,” she asked.
Citizens Coalition for Change interim vice-chairperson Job Sikhala who is accused of obstructing the course of justice yesterday had his application challenging submission of new court papers dismissed by Harare magistrate Marehwanazvo Gofa.
Sikhala, who is being represented by Jeremiah Bhamu and Harrison Nkomo, had objected to the State’s intentions to provide the defence with further court documents.
The CCC legislator said it would prejudice him in his case if the State proceeded to furnish him with further documents.
However, the State said the documents would help them in their case against Sikhala and asked the court to grant the application.
Gofa granted the application saying the State case was yet to commence its trial.
She then remanded the matter to tomorrow.
Sikhala is accused of obstructing the police to investigate the murder of CCC activist Moreblessing Ali whose dismembered body was found in a pit near her alleged killer’s residence.
Sikhala has clocked more than six months in remand prison and has been denied bail several times.
Football statistics- this should not be a new term for you if you are a football fan. However, if you are new to this game and have started watching this only for a few days, you must be wondering what football statistics actually are. Well, we are here to answer this question only. Today, we will talk about what football statistics are and how you can get that easily. So, if you are interested in all these details, get ahead and find all the information.
What are football statistics?
Let us come straightly to the point. Football statistics are actually every minute information of the game. In other words, you can say that football statistics are the live coverage of the match in written form. You will get to know which player performed how many goals and what other players did in the complete statistics of the match.
How can I get football statistics?
There was a time when this was a difficult task. However, in this digital era, getting football statistics and live updates is just a single tap away from you. All you need to do is find good sites that offer football statistics. Once you have found them, you will be able to get live football statistics of any match in just seconds. Not just the sites but there are many mobile applications are also there to help you with this. You can go for any of them depending on your choice and get the football statistics from your mobile phone itself conveniently.
What are the good football statistics sites?
We have already told you there is a slew of sites available that will offer you football statistics easily. Though you will find a pool of sites on the internet, there is only a handful of them that are authentic and can be trusted. Given this fact, you need to keep this thing in mind and go only with the ones which are reliable and genuine. If you wonder where you can find such sites, worry not because we have got your back. Here, we will introduce you to a list of sites that offer you football statistics.
So these are the sites where you can get football statistics and live scorecards. Some of these sites like https://papa-score.com/ offer you many other features as well. Given this fact, you can visit each of them individually and check what they have to offer you.
Features of football statistics sites
We have already told you a bunch of football statistics sites. Now, let us tell you the basic features of these sides. Here, we will talk in detail about the possible features that you can get on football statistics sites.

With the fact that these are statistics sites, they offer you the complete statistics of the game. From the pitch report to the presentation ceremony of the match, you will get the statistics of everything on such sites. Obviously, there would be minute-to-minute details of the match as well.

By Farai D Hove | A huge opportunity has arisen for Zimbabweans who are stranded in South Africa to get fraudulent recruiter Olinda Chapel charged in that country.
Chapel who has gotten scores of job seekers stranded in South Africa after collecting tens of thousands of pounds in illegal fees, that saw the British government stripping her of her recruitment license late last year, has relaunched job adverts in the neighbouring country. The development comes after she evading her victims, began claiming that her FNB bank account has been shut.
One of the victims is one, Susan (surname withheld), who was robbed over R120,0000 in January 2021 and against whom Chapel has been using social media trolls to harrass her.
“We will ensure that she is removed from South Africa and police to do their job on Olinda,” Dudula movement activist, Zanda Malama told ZimEye. MORE TO FOLLOW
Former Zanu PF national youth political commissar Godfrey Tsenengamu yesterday said President Emmerson Mnangagwa will be hounded for continually detaining Citizens Coalitions for Change (CCC) legislators Job Sikhala (Zengeza West), Godfrey Sithole (Chitungwiza North) and 13 Nyatsime opposition activists.
On Tuesday, Sikhala had his umpteenth bail application thrown out in a case he stands accused of obstructing the course of justice.
Sikhala, Sithole and the 13 activists were arrested in June and have been remanded since then at Chikurubi Maximum Security Prison, where they are being denied bail.
The outspoken Front for Economic Emancipation in Zimbabwe leader Tsenengamu addressed a Press conference in the capital yesterday under the banner Friends of Job Sikhala Solidarity Trust, telling journalists that Mnangagwa was living on borrowed time.
The Friends of Sikhala group includes Transform Zimbabwe leader Jacob Ngarivhume, former Zanu PF terror group Chipangano leader Jim Kunaka, Chitungwiza and Manyame Rural Residents Association director Marvelous Khumalo and Sybeth Musengezi of Zanu PF.
“I am a leader of a political organisation being a friend of Job Sikhala. I was once arrested in the new dispensation as well as the old dispensation under the late President Robert Mugabe’s regime after I spoke about what was happening then,” Tsenegamu said.
“In 2017, we had an operation to restore our legacy, but it is so sad that the so-called new dispensation has gone rogue disregarding the rule of law and disregarding the national Constitution totally. I don’t believe in Job Sikhala’s political ideology, but I don’t see any reason to celebrate his persecution because he is also a Zimbabwean and he doesn’t deserve this,” he added.
He then warned Mnangagwa that: “No one is safe. Everyone is a potential victim. Those who are leading this once jumped the border, fearing to be arrested and you are also a candidate of what Job Sikhala is going through. The late President Robert Mugabe went to his home while sick because of this regime and what this regime is doing is not sustainable. Power is temporary and don’t get drunk with power. This will come back to you.”
Eastern Cape police are investigating three counts of murder after the bodies of three men were found on the R408, between Dutywa and Willowvale.
Police were alerted to the bodies on Monday morning at around 06:30. They found a silver VW Polo “riddled with bullet holes”, said police spokesperson, Brigadier Tembinkosi Kinana.
Two men were found next to the vehicle, while the third was lying in the driver’s seat, all with bullet wounds.
“The circumstances surrounding the incident are currently under investigation,” said Kinana.

By A Correspondent- The opposition Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) says the relentless arrest of its legislators and supporters will not scare or deter the party from participating in general elections to be held later this year.
In a message yesterday to commemorate the CCC’s first anniversary, party leader Nelson Chamisa said they had “moved mountains” in their first year of existence.
In one year, you have excelled. Change champions, you moved mountains. Because God is in it you won 19 out of 28 parliamentary seats, and 89 out of 149 councillors in by-elections. Thank you for your solidarity and support for believing. You have supported us against all odds. A new Great Zimbabwe,” Chamisa tweeted.
“We aim to win big to seal the presidency. Two-thirds in Parliament and choose both Speaker of Parliament and President of the Senate. We must attain a majority in local authorities. Citizens, let’s do it again,” he said.
Chamisa had previously insisted that his party would not participate in the elections in the absence of tangible electoral reforms, but seems to have softened up.
The youthful opposition leader launched the CCC on January 24 last year after months of bickering with Douglas Mwonzora over control of the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) after the former ganged up with others in the party to challenge Chamisa’s ascension to leadership following the death of the party’s founding leader Morgan Tsvangirai in February 2018.
During the bickering, the MDC split, with Mwonzora wresting control of original MDC-T and Chamisa forming the splinter MDC-Alliance, which contested in the 2018 elections and won a sizeable number of parliamentary and council of seats, while Chamisa narrowly lost to Zanu PF leader Emmerson Mnangagwa in the presidential race, but has disputed the results.
In a crude political twist, in the following months after the elections, Mwonzora claimed ownership of the MDC-Alliance and triggered an intriguing process of recalling MDC-Alliance MPs and councillors who were refusing to jump ship.
Job Sikhala’s aide, Freddy Masarirevhu, has implicated Chikurubi Maximum Security Prison officials in the alleged poisoning of the incarcerated opposition Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) legislator on Saturday.
“I spoke (to) Sikhala, who is visibly in a very terrible state. He informed me that on Saturday, about eight men, officers, came to his cell. He said the men informed him that they wanted to conduct a search. He said he was told to be at a distance as they were searching,” Masarirevhu said.
“He said they did not disclose what they were looking for. They moved around his belongings, including his food. After this, he advised me that he went on to eat his food that evening and then he vomited continuously.
“The nurses at the prison had to immediately attend to him. He said had it not been that, he could have died. He was attended to by the nurses for hours as there was some panic. Thereafter, he took 10 litres of water as part of the treatment.”
Currently, Sikhala’s state is stable, he added.
“At the moment, he appears stable, but he said he is still suffering from a stomach ache. He can’t walk properly. He said he suspects that the officers did something. He said they have never searched before in the manner they did. He is still recovering and I hope he gets better soon.”
Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services officials could not be reached for comment.
The opposition politician, however, appeared before magistrate Vongai Muchuchuti-Guwuriro yesterday in a case he is accused of incitement to commit public violence in 2019.
He was supposed to stand for trial, but the matter was postponed to September 13.
After the magistrate left the courtroom, Sikhala protested against being denied access to his aide and to visit him at the prison court.
“You wanted to kill me on Saturday. I won’t die, God will protect me until I liberate this country from Zanu PF,” Sikhala shouted in court.
He is also facing a charge of incitement to commit public violence after addressing mourners at a the funeral of slain CCC member Moreblessing Ali in Nyatsime, Chitungwiza, in May this year.
He is also facing another charge of obstructing justice over Ali’s murder.
Women are also human, and mistakes can happen when the men are too busy/uncaring (they're not playing their conjugal role). Was Baba Denzel fair to chase his wife out? Who is to blame Mai Denzel, or Baba Denzel?
By Showbiz Reporter | Saddening audios of epic levels involving a Harare wife caught up in a triple love affair has the woman being grilled over why she eloped with another man while caught up in another illicit affair.
“Come and take your sister away… if you don’t take your sister today… I have finished my conversation with you,” screams the woman’s husband, as she is being chased away. He is at this time speaking via phone with the woman’s husband.
By this time, she has explained to her brother over the call that she was caught up in a love affair.
” There is someone I am in love with,” she briefly says.
“Do not say that, say the truth that you are in love with several people!” the husband screamed at her in the background.
She asks for her time to explain everything in her own words. “Please wait let me explain because what you are saying only happened later,” she asks her husband.
She goes on: “there is someone I was in love with, and I dumped him; After that, I moved on to another relationship, and the new man I had no clue that he knows the previous lover.
“The second man then travelled to Baba Dzenzel to tell him the pictures. ”
‘Reveal what type the pics are!,” demands the husband.
“They are naked pics,” the wife says.
Why were you doing this?, asks the woman’s brother.
“For no reason- hapana,” says the woman.
At this juncture, the brother tells the sister to hand the phone to the husband and asks for his decision.
“Come and take your sister away… if you don’t take your sister today… I have finished my conversation with you,” screams the woman’s husband, as she is being chased away.
The husband says he has no bus money to give the wife.
The brother then refers Mai Denzel to a woman who lives in Budiriro 4.

In a crude political twist, in the following months after the elections, Mwonzora claimed ownership of the MDC-Alliance and triggered an intriguing process of recalling MDC-Alliance MPs and councillors who were refusing to jump ship.
Chamisa eventually lost the party headquarters, Morgan Richard Tsvangirai House, party finances under the Political Parties Finances Act and the MDC Alliance name to Mwonzora. He later regrouped with disgruntled MDC colleagues under the CCC banner, which has assumed yellow as its official colour.
Two months after its launch, the CCC participated in the March 26 by-elections in which it won 19 out of 28 parliamentary seats and 89 out of 149 council seats.
In his first anniversary message, Chamisa described all incarcerated CCC cadres as citizens’ heroes.
Zengeza West legislator Job Sikhala has been languishing in remand prison for more than six months for allegedly inciting violence, while Budiriro legislator Costa Machingauta and Mkoba MP Amos Chibaya were arrested last week for convening an unsanctioned meeting.
“They are citizens’ heroes. The onslaught on the yellow train sees us celebrating our first anniversary with our champions behind bars on spurious charges! Champions HON MPs Sikhala, Chibaya, Machingauta & Budiriro 25 are sadly under persecution,” Chamisa said.
In an interview with NewsDay, the party’s national deputy spokesperson Felix Magalela Sibanda said the greatest success of the party in its first year was winning elections in two months of its existence.
“Our road to democracy has been so painful, however, we made successes, and we also thrived in rural areas and grabbed Zanu PF’s strongholds.”
Sibanda also said there were some setbacks including the banning of their political rallies.
The CCC national deputy spokesperson said, nonetheless, the party was ready for the elections.
By- A Mbare magistrate has reduced a jail sentence initially handed over to the former television personality Oscar Pambuka.
On Tuesday, Pambuka was spared from serving another prison term after the magistrate sentenced him to a wholly suspended one-year jail term for attempted fraud.
Mbare magistrate Mr Nyasha Vitorini suspended the 12 months for three years on condition that he does not commit another offence involving dishonesty. Pambuka was taken to court after he attempted to dupe Croco Motors director Mr Moses Chingwena of R36 000. Mr Vitorini, in sentencing Pambuka, said he noted that he did not benefit from the offence and that the jail term he was serving for his 2018 fraud case would do justice and keep him out of crime.
A man was shot in the head outside a bank in Wick Street, Verulam, on Monday at 9am.
Prem Balram, of Reaction Unit SA, said the man was rushed to hospital in a critical condition and died on arrival.
He said the robbers made off with two bags of cash.
“The Reaction Unit South Africa (Rusa) Operations Centre received multiple calls from businesses and the public reporting a shooting in progress.
“On arrival, Rusa officers discovered the victim lying on the pavement, bleeding from a gunshot wound to his head.
“Rusa medics stabilised him on scene before expediting him to hospital in a critical condition.
“His condition rapidly deteriorated during the journey. Resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful and he was pronounced deceased on arrival at the hospital.”
Balram said that according to witnesses, the victim and a work colleague were a few metres away from the entrance of the bank when they were confronted by two armed males.
“One of the suspects fired two shots and stole two bags of cash before fleeing in their getaway vehicle.
“Some witnesses reported that either a black VW Golf or silver Toyota Corolla with an ND registration was used by the robbers.”
He said the second victim was not injured.
This weekend, a man was killed while walking with his daughter in Newlands East.
It is alleged that gunmen travelling in a VW Polo opened fire on them.
Both of them were hit and taken to hospital. The father died from his injuries.
Police said a case of murder and attempted murder was being investigated.

There were fears of career accidents after cricket champ Skindar Raza met the man who seems to put bad luck on every sportsman, Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Mnangagw applauded Raza after the national cricket team all-rounder was named in the International Cricket Council Team of the Year for Twenty20 Internationals as well as One Day Internationals.
Mnangagwa, who met the country’s star cricketer at State House in Harare yesterday described Raza as a true Zimbabwe cricket champion and urged him to carry on making the nation proud.
“Congratulations to one of our Chevrons ‘Raza – Cremora’, a proud Zimbabwean cricket champion.
“@SRazaB24 has been named in the ICC ODI & T20 Team of the Year for 2022. Keep raising the Zimbabwean flag high and continue making us proud,’’ posted President Mnangagwa.
Raza has described as an honour to get an invite from President Mnangagwa who congratulated him on his selection into the ICC Teams of the Year.
Raza, who had a remarkable year for Zimbabwe in white ball cricket in 2022, said he was humbled by the President’s gesture.
“It was truly an honour to be invited by his Excellency @edmnangagwa to congratulate me on my inclusion in the T20I and ODI ICC Team of the year. I am truly humbled by his Excellency’s gesture.
“#inshallah more Zimbabweans to make the list in future. #VisitZimbabwe #Alhamdulillah,’’ wrote Raza after meeting with the President.
Nick Mangwana, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information Publicity and Broadcasting Services, tweeted after Raza meeting with the President: “Raza is one of our best. Thank you for doing wonders for Zimbabwe @SRazaB24.”
Raza has thanked Chevrons coach Dave Houghton after he was included in the ICC T20I and ODI Team of the Year.
“Incredibly humbled to be named in T20I and ODI team of the year. This wouldn’t have been possible without Houghton and his technical team and my team mates. Most importantly the prayers I receive from all of you. I thank you all and am forever grateful,’’ said Raza.
The all-rounder was by far the best player for Zimbabwe in international cricket and Chevrons fans refer to him as a national treasure. He is one of the reasons why spectators are coming out in their thousands to back the national team in Bulawayo and Harare.
Raza came alive after the arrival of Houghton as national team coach, starting with winning the Player of the Tournament as Zimbabwe qualified for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia. He was at his best when Zimbabwe floored Bangladesh at home and carried on his magnificent display in Australia which saw him named in the ICC Men’s T20 Team of the Tournament. – state media
Tinashe Sambiri|Fearless and tough-talking preacher, Bishop Ancelimo Magaya, has implored the church to denounce Zanu PF barbarism.
In a strong statement at the weekend, Bishop Magaya challenged the church to remain firm and resolute in speaking out the truth to power.
Read the statement below…
The church’s recent efforts commendable.
We commend and applaud the church’s recent pastoral visit to the Murewa politically motivated victims of violence and their subsequent clear statement calling for peace and restoration of people’s freedoms.
The story of a Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37) does not only ridicule a religion that does not take cognizance of the full worthy of the dignity of humanity as depicted by the Priest and Levite who “passed by on the other side”, but clearly models how the church should lead in good neighborliness.
At a time that many “church leaders” have opted to sing a song of a parot as written by Kenyan writer Ngugi Wathiongo, and sadly doing so for corruptible gold and silver, the true church should rise and be true to their calling. The church is exhorted to do more than statements. Let us overcome fear and be ready to be counted among the ancient prophets and apostles. It is ironic that many that call themselves apostles and prophets today do not have an aota of similarity with the prophets and apostles who have gone before us. If the church rises and be true to her calling, serving God and “holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience “ (1Tim 3:9), Zimbabwe will be transitioned into an era of socio-economic,justice bliss:a foretaste of what the new world under the rulership of Christ will be.
A warning to those who have opted to fear and serve the interests of the evil doers -strengthening their hands(Jer 23:14), God will expose you soon unless you repent from your blaspheming spree and be true to your calling. God save Zimbabwe.
DENVER MUKAMBA STOLE THE ATTENTION ON FRIDAY SESSION
A group of defenders, including new skipper Frank Makarati, listened attentively as coach Herbert “Jompano” Maruwa shared some defensive tactics.
On the other end of the pitch, club legend Murape Murape and Genesis “Kaka” Mangombe were working with attacking players.
Box-to-box midfielder Shadreck Nyahwa, who is recovering from a nagging knee injury, did some light training on the sidelines.
There was a lot of energy and a lot of enthusiasm among the players, who are eager to impress Dynamos’ new coach.
DeMbare’s new signing Tanaka Shandirwa has immediately drawn attention, not because of his tinted hair, but his skill and ability.
The former Yadah player, whose industriousness has earned him the moniker “Kante”, was very impressive during an 11 versus 11 session DeMbare held at Alex Sports Club on Friday.
However, the training session was soon to be halted following the arrival of Division Two side Mabvuku United, who had come for a sparring match with the Harare giants.
But attention soon switched to an all-too-familiar but pleasant surprise guest.
Denver Mukamba walked into the venue and greeted the security staff before having a long chat with Dynamos secretary Webster Marechera.
Whether the chat was business or social is still unclear.
However, Maruwa cleared the air on Mukamba, who has been heavily linked with a return to DeMbare after he was offloaded by Ngezi Platinum Stars.
Mukamba won the 2012 Soccer Star of the Year award with Dynamos, before his career took a nosedive due to disciplinary issues.
Since 2012, he has played for University of Pretoria, Jomo Cosmos, CAPS United, Chapungu United and Ngezi Platinum Stars.
He is now eyeing another sensational return to DeMbare.
“Nothing as yet concerning Denver (Mukamba). He just came to watch the game.
“If there is anything, we will let you know,” Maruwa told The Sunday Mail Sport.
While the future of the controversial Mukamba remains a subject of speculation, Ali Sadiki, who hails from the same neighbourhood in Highfield as the controversial player, has found a new home at Dynamos.
The 35-year-old linkman is the latest player to join DeMbare, who have been on a massive realignment exercise since the arrival of Maruwa.
“He (Sadiki) is now a Dynamos player; he has signed already,” said the gaffer.
Sadiki, who played for Simba Bhora in the Northern Region Division One league last season, becomes the ninth official signing.
Strikers Nyasha Chintuli (28) and Soccer Star of the Year finalist Eli Ilunga (25) are now at DeMbare.
Chintuli looked lively during Friday’s training session.
Emmanuel Ziocha (21), Shandirwa (23), Tendai Matindife (21), Arthur “Diego” Musiiwa (27) and the Moyo twins — Kevin and Elvis — are the other new signings who played a part in the practice match against Mabvuku United.
Musiiwa, who has joined DeMbare from Bulawayo Chiefs, is a skilful midfielder with an eye for that fine pass.
He scored the solitary goal when Chiefs beat Herentals in the 2022 Chibuku Super Cup final at Barbourfields Stadium in November.
“We need to build a team that can compete with the likes of FC Platinum and Chicken Inn, then see what happens.
“But so far so good. The new guys are giving us a lot of options,” said Maruwa.
The former Black Rhinos coach clocks exactly 40 days in charge of Dynamos today.
He replaced Tonderai Ndiraya, who led DeMbare to a third-place finish in the 2021/2022 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.
And now Maruwa is aiming to do better than Ndiraya.
That is why he has been refreshing the squad with young and energetic players.
Thirteen players have already been shown the door.
Godknows Murwira, Keith Murera, Ralph Kawondera, Sylvester Appiah, Albert Eonde and Alex Orotomal are no longer at DeMbare.
Ageing striker Evans Katema and Ghanaian flop Martin Ofori have been transfer-listed, while Luke Musikiri, Claivert Tshuma and Stephen Chatikobo — who filled the Under-20 slots last season — have been released.
Some of the key players in DeMbare’s campaign last season — Taimon Mvula, Emmanuel Jalai and Emmanuel Paga — have been retained.
“In terms of endurance, the boys are almost 70 percent; we keep on pushing, and we are happy.
“We need a strong team that can compete and reduce the gap between us and defending champions FC Platinum.
“We need to make sure we are up there for us to compete.”
DeMbare are not yet done with signings.
“We need to keep on improving the team. We need to add two or so guys to make sure we have a solid team. Expect more signings.”
Maruwa has brought in a new approach at Dynamos, and discipline has become the buzzword.
The gaffer also wants to assemble a youthful side that can overrun opponents.
“It’s not about performance only, even discipline also counts,” he says.
As a result, some of the players were offloaded for indiscipline.
“We need a vibrant squad with an average of 25 years.
“We need a team with a lot of energy and speed; that’s why we are bringing in more youngsters. But we also have to balance the squad with some senior guys,” he said.
DYNAMOS PREPARATIONS ENTER DAY TEN WITH THREE STAR PLAYERS RETURNING
Day ten into their off-season training, Dynamos got a welcome boost when three outstanding players from last season joined training, DeMbare DotComs can report.
23year old Ghanaian, Emmanuel Paga returned yesterday from his native country and trained with the team today. He was Dynamos top goal scorer with 10goals from 29 appearances.
Tinotenda Muringai who was in Mozambique, trying his luck at Champions UD Songo also trained with the team today.
Also training with Dynamos for the first time this year was Junior Makunike who was in Tanzania trying impress at Singida Club.
From the players retained by Dynamos from last season only King Nadolo is yet to join training.
Dynamos are having two training sessions per day, usually a fitness session in the morning with Vincent Chabwana monitoring them. In the afternoon Jompano and crew take over.

By- Female CCC activists who are part of the 25 arrested last week in Harare’s Budiriro suburb complain they are being fondled in remand prison.
Newsday
By A Correspondent | ZimEye | A Zimbabwean priest for the Anglican church, Rev Tapiwa Gusha whose audio messages plotting to get his wife killed, has been fired, ZimEye is told.
While an official church statement was awaited Rev Tapiwa Gusha is heard in the audios narrating to a Mozambique based assassin transcribed below.
My name is Tapiwa, I got your number from Sekuru Mapungwana from Inyanga.
I have a problem. I have a wife I separated from over 6 months ago. I am now staying alone, we are both in different areas of the same Canadian town. After separating, we parted ways with 2 boys, 8 years, and another who is 6 years.
So she is angry with me to the point of making to see the kids again, so I was seeking someone who can help me so that these kids can return to me to live with them. So I was seeking someone who can make her heart become dark (sedate through poisoning), so she can release the kids over to me, or that the wife herself goes forever, she dies (from poisoning) so that I don’t get into problems.
So I was given your number and decided to ask you for help and hear what is quickest and easiest for you. And myself what am I supposed to pay you? This is my story Sekuru, I would be happy to hear from you; thank you very much.
………………..
AT THIS POINT, THE PRIEST COMMUNICATES IN WRITING (WATCH VIDEO).
It is well Sekuru, I am hearing you. Let me now send you my pictures, and my totem. I will send you my children’s pictures. I will then send you my wife’s pictures. After you’ve inspected them, you will then inform me what is needed. If you work out a way to make her get blown over (sedate through poisoning) to make her lose the kids, she returns the children to me; so that she doesn’t take them back. But I was thinking that she might still bounce back, it will continue as a continuous war between us, so I was asking that if there is a way to just make her lose her life at once, so that we know that the war has ended. This is what I was thinking, but you can review which is the best way be fixed once and for all. This is what I was asking.
By-Suspended former MDC-T vice president Elias Mudzuri has lashed out at the party president Douglas Mwonzora and accused him of destroying the once vibrant opposition.
The MDC-T National Council recently suspended Mudzuri together with six other party leaders for “indiscipline”.
The other officials who were suspended are provincial chairpersons Gift Konjana (Mashonaland West), John Nyika (Masvingo) Den Moyo (USA Province) Edwin Dzambara (Secretary for Education), and Edwin Kakora (national executive member).
In an interview with TellZim News Mudzuri said he was yet to receive communication on his suspension.
He said he only heard about the suspension from other members of the party who were in the meeting that resolved to suspend him. Mudzuri added:
Mwonzora is destroying the party with his actions. The party needs people for the 2023 elections but he is busy suspending; how is it going to stand a chance against ZANU PF?
Mudzuri, on his official Twitter account, claimed that the party had resolved to fire him for telling leaders that leadership should be chosen from grassroots structures. He wrote:
I am reliably informed that today (January 21, 2023) the illegitimate MDC National Council will expel me from the party.
How can a founder member be expelled for insisting that leaders must always be chosen by the base structures & not the elite & for merely chatting with customers at Duriro Bar?
