Ref:- Bhora Musango Option by Buchwa Support Unit Members due to Malicious Long-illtreatment by OICs,Dispol Buchwa District.

We write to you all to express our disappointments here at Buchwa District Headquarters, our normal deployment period is 42 Days but we are forced to extend due to mal-administration by this Silly-Useless-Unprofessional type of Command you gave us in Buchwa. We expect a balance between our Duties and Welfare but that’s not the Case here in Buchwa. Our Old Dispol is always after Love with Civilians arround various places surrounding Buchwa ie Polant,Ingezi,Vugwi to mention but a few hence he doesn’t have focus for Work issues concerning our Welfare ,what type of a Silly and Useless Dispol you gave us ,he is abusing that Newly acquired Sub-Aqua Ford Ranger vehicle at times Sub-Aqua guys are delaying in attending Critical Scenes whilst the vehicles is busy with the Dispol at Fishing or Mahure or kunodhakwa zvake ,his Liutenant Supt Vurayayi was recently assaulted at Polant abatwa neMukadzi wemunhu aineAmbulance yeCamp Clinic a Nissan NP300 hence tarnishing Buchwa District.

Right now we are heading towards Watershed 2023 Elections,Our President is preaching Patriotism,No To Corruption at all Corners but Buchwa District what can stop us from voting for CCC coz of the type treatment we are receiving from these three Devils, just imagine we have been on Deployment since last year then we came here and this silly command selected people and grouped them as Mike Troop, Whisky Troop, Chikorokoza Ngachipere,VVIP , Parkgate but at Whisky Troop they called us for Pre-Annual Inspection Parade only but upon granting of Time-Off we were re-grouped and made not to go for Time-Off only those for Chikorokoza Ngachipere just because We refused to give them Bribe or Corruption monies for grant of Time-Off.Right now on Wednesday, those for Operation Chikorokoza only were made to fill pot-holes from DHQ to Buchwa Shops by Supt Vurayayi saying the instruction was from Dispol but he told our Officers In Charge for Chikorokoza Ngachipere Zvishavane, Shurugwi and Kwekwe and said this is a delaying tactic for you all to organize yourselves moita zvinoitwa. After having done nothing because we don’t have the requested monies to find these Silly Grandfathers’ pockets, they dragged us to PUC to conduct Public Order lessons we already did last year but to our surprise PUC detail a Sgt I can’t mention his name on condition of anonymity confessed that PUC doesn’t have any programs with Mike Troop, Whisky Troop, Chikorokoza, VVIP, Parkgate but only for 38 Officers and Members who didn’t participated in 2022 Public Order session but the process went on coz it was only Pressure for us to shake-up,pannick and give them monies. We don’t have the monies isusu, taitumira US$30 for Superintendents each then US$40 for Dispol himself on various intervals on Trevor Ncube Confidently Announces Kasukuwere Jailed Inside KG6

By A Correspondent | CCC President Nelson Chamisa has clapped back at publisher Trevor Ncube who has continued piling character-accusations against him since 2018.

Trevor Ncube- file credit M&G

3 days ago, Ncube revived his 4 year old sensational accusations with which he claims Chamisa has accepted bribes from his rival Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Said Ncube:

Ncube who once said Chamisa’s mentor Morgan Tsvajgurai is the worst thing to happen in Zimbabwe next to Robert Mugabe, has over the years been suggesting that Chamisa is unsuitable for leadership.

Nov 2017 tweet

Commenting, Chamisa described Ncube as “sick people [who] have sick hallucinations and imaginations.”

He continued saying, they must leave me alone if I’m such a horrible person…Why can’t they concentrate on their own candidates they believe in?” he asked.

US Vice President Visits Zambia, Shuns Zimbabwe On Her Africa Tour

Vice President Kamala Harris will travel to Ghana, Tanzania and Zimbabwe’s neighboring country Zambia as part of her Africa tour later this month.

Her trip comes as the administration seeks to bolster its relationships with African countries, as competitors like Russia and China have made inroads in the region.

Harris is scheduled to visit Ghana, Tanzania and Zambia in a historic trip, her first visit to the continent since becoming vice president. And it will be the first time a Black US vice president visits the region, amplifying Harris’ historic role and high-profile trip. Second gentleman Doug Emhoff will join her on the trip.

In a statement, Harris’ press secretary Kirsten Allen said the vice president’s trip will “strengthen the United States’ partnerships throughout Africa and advance our shared effort on security and economic prosperity.”

Harris’ trip is the latest of several US officials who plan on visiting, or have visited, Africa. First lady Jill Biden returned from her trip to Africa earlier this month. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and US Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield visited earlier this year. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will travel to Ethiopia and Niger this week, and President Joe Biden is expected to visit the continent later this year.

“Throughout the trip, in partnership with African governments and the private sector, the Vice President will advance efforts to expand access to the digital economy, support climate adaptation and resilience, and strengthen business ties and investment, including through innovation, entrepreneurship, and the economic empowerment of women,” Allen wrote.

Ad Feedback

Harris will first visit Ghana, then Tanzania and then end the weeklong trip in Zambia before returning to Washington. The vice president will hold bilateral meetings with presidents from the three countries to discuss “regional and global priorities, including our shared commitment to democracy, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, food security, and the effects of Russia’s unprovoked war in Ukraine, among other issues.”

She plans to build on the commitments made during the US-Africa Leaders Summit in December, when the president hosted nearly 50 African leaders in Washington. In her remarks at the time, Harris framed the US as the preferable choice over Beijing and Moscow.

“Our administration will invest our time and our energy to fortify partnerships across the continent. Partnerships grounded in candor, openness, inclusiveness, shared interests and mutual benefits,” she said at the summit. “And overall, our administration will be guided not by what we can do for Africa but what we can do with Africa.”

Allen said Harris will focus on strengthening that message while engaging on the ground with the African Diaspora.

The vice president’s trip may also feel like a sort of homecoming after she spent time there as a young girl in the 1960’s, according to The Los Angeles Times, when visiting her maternal grandfather who was on assignment in his role as an Indian civil servant.

CVs Overwhelm Zanu PF’s Ahead Of Primary Elections

By-There is pressure in the Zanu PF National Elections Directorate and Security Departments as thousands submit their CVs to partake in this weekend’s primaries ahead of the national polls.

According to the state media, all provinces Monday were still submitting the CVs for the Senate, House of Assembly, local authorities, women, and youth quotas to the ruling party headquarters.

Before submission to the National Elections Directorate, Zanu PF Political Commissar Cde Mike Bimha said Provincial Elections Directorates only make their comments and remarks without necessarily denying any candidate to lodge his or her CV.
“Right now we cannot talk of successful candidates or unsuccessful candidates because what the provinces were simply doing was really to consider these CVs against the rules and regulations set out earlier, thereby making recommendations and also giving their remarks, therefore the next stage will be for these submissions to be interrogated by the National Elections Directorate.
“The same submission will also come under scrutiny by our security department so that after the vetting process, we then move to the stage where the final approval will be given by the Politburo and which will mark the beginning of the campaigns of this internal processes,” he said.
Prospective candidates, he added, have to wait until they get approval from the party before they start campaigning.
“We discourage candidates to campaign now because they still have to wait for approval, they still have to wait for the processes to take place and then once that they have been successful in the processes then they can start campaigning,” he said
A record number of aspiring candidates have submitted their CVs to stand in for the ruling party in the forthcoming elections with a blend of old and new faces in a display of the universal popularity of Zanu PF.
On Saturday and Sunday, the ruling party’s aspiring candidates submitted their CVs to the provincial administrators at their respective provincial headquarters.
Aspiring candidates will be vying for 210 constituencies, 1 970 wards, 60 senatorial, 60 for women’s quota, and 10 for Youth quota.
Young people in particular have shown keen interest to represent Zanu PF in the forthcoming elections, the dates of which will be announced soon by President Mnangagwa.
The zeal to represent Zanu PF runs deep, with one province alone receiving more than 4000 nomination papers in a display of thriving democracy in the revolutionary party.
“As I said earlier on, there has been an overwhelming response with some of the positions, particularly for the House of the Assembly where you have 10 or more candidates pursuing one position across the board on the National Assembly the Senate, the women’s quota, youth quota, and local Authority. I would like to thank all our members for exercising their rights by coming forward and demonstrating their willingness to work for the party,” said Cde Bimha.

ZACC Officer Granted ZWL$100k Bail With Stringent Conditions

By A Correspondent| A Zimbabwe Anti-corruption Commission (ZACC) officer Smart Mandofa who was arrested last week for abuse of office has been granted a ZWL100 000 by a Harare magistrate.

Mandofa is facing allegations of criminal abuse of office as he was compromised by Gilad Shabtai, in an attempt to tarnish businessman Ofer Sivan’s name and divert attention from Shabtai’s own criminal doings, and in so doing he allegedly arrested Mr Sivan without following due regard to the law and conducting proper investigations.

Regional magistrate Stanford Mambanje granted Mandofa bail with stringent conditions that include reporting once every week at Harare Central Police Station and not to interfere with witnesses.

According to the state case, Mandofa has been shielding Gilad Shabtai and Munyaradzi Gonyora, fugitives from justice who have several warrants of arrest against them, from being arrested.

Gonyora was arrested after a report was filed for fraud, externalization of funds, misappropriation of funds, tax evasion and theft of trust property, and has already appeared at the Harare Magistrates Court but Shabtai was not located and is a fugitive from justice, facing the same serious allegations. Three warrants of arrest against Shabtai were issued by two different magistrates.

It is alleged Shabtai’s allegations should have attracted the attention of ZACC officials as ZACC fights serious graft of this nature. The State alleges that instead Mandofa turned a blind eye and lied that an anonymous person had filed a report of forgery against Sivan at Zacc.

It is further alleged that instead, Mandofa teamed up with his accomplices and received a report from Gonyora, who was appearing at the Harare Magistrates Court on routine remand and made a less serious report of forgery against Sivan knowing that a more serious case of externalising US$1,3 million was in place against Gonyora and Shabtai.

It is further alleged that Mandofa launched an investigation against Sivan despite being aware that CID CCD was probing the fugitive. The State alleges Shabtai did not present himself in person to the police to answer to the charges levelled against him as he was aware of the warrant of arrest against him.

It is alleged one of the warrants of arrest for Shabtai was shown to Mandofa but he chose to ignore it. It is further alleged that the ZACC officials made sure that Shabtai continuously benefitted from the justice system despite being a fugitive of the same justice system.

The State alleges that as peace officers, the ZACC officers had the duty of joining hands with other law enforcing agents and requesting assistance in hunting down Shabtai.

Cyclone Freddy Kills 100 In Malawi

By- At least 99 people were confirmed dead on Monday after Cyclone Freddyslammed into southern Malawi, the country’s Commissioner for Disaster Management Affairs, Charles Kalemba, told CNN.

Most of the deaths happened in Blantyre, Malawi’s commercial capital, according to Kalemba.

“We have recorded 99 people dead in about seven councils, with Blantyre city as the highest with 85 dead and about 134 people in Blantyre alone hospitalized,” Kalemba told CNN on Monday evening. He warned the number of dead and injured could rise.

Malawi’s government has declared a “state of disaster” in the southern region of the country.

The country’s President, Lazarus Chakwera, “has noted with grave concern the devastation that Cyclone Freddy is currently bringing to most districts in Malawi’s Southern region,” a government press release said.

“Accordingly, government is already responding to the emergencies, rendering urgent assistance to all affected districts, and appealing for local and international support for all the families affected by this disaster,” the statement continued.

Schools will remain shut in 10 of the worst affected districts until Wednesday, Malawi’s education ministry said in a statement Sunday.

Earlier on Monday, Malawi police spokesman Peter Kalaya told CNN the destruction caused by the storm had inundated roadways and triggered blackouts in the worst affected areas.

Kalemba said rescue efforts have been “tough”.

“We are still having a lot of rains coming down. We are now experiencing landslides, flash floods and stones rolling down some hills. Because of the weather, rescue efforts are not easy. Some of the places we have to go and rescue people, it’s not easy to get there. It’s tough but we are making sure we do the job that we need to do,” he said.

The deadly Cyclone Freddy has broken records for the longest-lasting storm of its kind and has struck neighboring Mozambique and also Madagascar, killing more than 20 people and displacing thousands of others across both countries.

It has been described as a “very rare” storm by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), which called its journey so far “incredible and dangerous.”

ZANU PF Recruits Diasporans for Parliament

Emmerson Mnangagwa’s party ZANU Pf’s members have published boasts saying they are taking in 2023 election candidates from diaspora returnees.

While it was not clear which countries these diasporans are coming from, one of the announcements is in the below tweet

Tropical Cyclone Freddy Regains Strength ?

The returning Cyclone Freddy, which was upgraded from a tropical storm on Saturday, is expected to make landfall in some parts of Zimbabwe from this weekend, bringing intermittent light rains and thunderstorms, the Meteorological Services Department (MSD), has said.

The cyclone strengthened on Saturday while anchored in Mozambique, prompting its upgrading from a tropical storm by weather experts.

It is returning to the region for the second inside two weeks, making it one of the longest running cyclones in history.

When it first hit the country, it claimed two lives, but caused moderate damage to property, mainly in Manicaland and Mashonaland East provinces.

The MSD has said this time around, although Cyclone Freddy has picked up strength, it was only expected to bring light rains and thunderstorms, which might also cause minimal damage.

“The country received light rains in Manicaland, Mashonaland East and Mashonaland Central.

Rainfall amounts recorded, however, were all traces except for 21mm measured at Mount Darwin. All other places were mostly sunny and warm in the afternoon,” it said on Sunday.

“It should be cloudy with a chance of intermittent light rain in Mashonaland Central, Harare Metropolitan, Mashonaland East, Manicaland and Masvingo Province.

Isolated thunderstorms are probable in the afternoon (Sunday).

Expect partly cloudy and warm weather in Mashonaland West, northern parts of the Midlands, Matabeleland North, Bulawayo Metropolitan, and Masvingo Province. Winds are anticipated to be moderate to fresh in most parts of the country,” the MSD said.

Cloudy and windy conditions are expected to continue to Monday in many parts of the country, with government warning people to heed precautions such as monitoring weather forecasts, and staying close to high ground. – New Ziana

We Shall Build Country: Mnangagwa

PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa says Zimbabweans are a peaceful people by nature, urging the nation’s citizens to be remembered for uniting and building their own country.

He said this at a field day held at his Pricabe Farm in Kwekwe this Saturday.

President Mnangagwa’s call comes as the country prepares to hold general elections this year.

The President, who addressed thousands of people at the field day, said regime change elements almost succeeded in sowing disunity but Zimbabweans are now united.

“We just maintain this peace and tranquility. Sanctions were imposed with the view of creating disharmony among the people so that there could be regime change. At one stage they almost succeeded but now that is not the case. We are getting more and more united. In Shona we say in a family not all members of the family will pull in the same direction, one or two will pull in the opposite direction. This happens in our country and it does not make us lose sleep. In fact, we sleep better if we know who is pulling in the opposite direction.”

The President said people should strive to be remembered for building their country.

“Be remembered for building your country, not for destroying your country. Be remembered for uniting people, not for dis-uniting people. Be remembered for building not destroying. So according to our Shona culture if a man or a woman preaches peace and harmony, when they die we deep the grave where we buried them, but those who are found to be destructive when they die we plough crops on the grave. I for one would like to be remembered for peace, production and building our country.”

The issue of drug abuse among youths and bullying continues to be a cause for concern and President Mnangagwa said Zimbabweans must unite in fighting the problem.

“There is a disease that has gripped our nation, we must fight drug abuse at community and household level. It’s not an issue which you say the government must fight, let us all fight it. Let’s expose those who bring the drugs. I have given instructions to the police to apprehend all who are high, school authorities who pay a blind eye to bullying will have a case to answer,” said the President.

“I’m told a tendency is coming up of bullying in schools. That should stop now. I’m told in some instances kids kill each other. That should stop. We are looking at how to deal with this issue and any school management found wanting, we will deal with them. Also we need peace from the grassroots.”

ZACC Official Arrested Over Corruption

A top Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) investigator, Smart Marlon Mandofa, was dragged to court over the weekend to answer to criminal abuse of duty charges.

At court…ZACC Official faces the jusic

Mandofa is being accused of interacting with a complainant, who is said to be on the police wanted list.

Mandofa investigated and arrested businessman, Ofer Sivan, in a fraud case involving US$762 000 and $22 million in which Gilad Shabtai was a complainant.

However, the police have now arrested him, and are looking for two other ZACC officials, for interacting with Shabtai.

Mandofa was remanded in custody to today after deputy prosecutor general Michael Reza recused himself saying he knew Mandofa.

Allegations are that in August 2021, Sivan made a complaint against Shabtai and co-director of their company, Munyaradzi Gonyora.

Gonyora was arrested and appeared in court but Shabtai could not be located as he was out of the country.

A warrant of arrest was issued against him before it was later cancelled in court.

Allegations are that Mandofa, and his accomplices, lied that an anonymous person filed a report of forgery against Sivan, and he was arrested.

The State had it that Sivan was arrested after he had made a report against Shabtai, who hasn’t been arrested to date.

It is further alleged that Sivan queried his arrest as it appeared that Shabtai had contacted ZACC, yet there was a pending warrant of apprehension against him.

A request for travel history, in respect of Gilad Shabtai, was made to the Chief Director of Immigration, Zimbabwe Immigration Department, for the period from November, 1 2021 to August, 18 2022.

It allegedly showed that Shabtai was out of the country, when the case was reported at ZACC, until the matter was referred to court for prosecution.

The travel record shows that Shabtai visited Zimbabwe, through Robert Mugabe International Airport on July, 17 2022, and left the next day, but Mandofa and his accomplices didn’t arrest him. -H Metro

Unlike CCC, We’ll Scrutinize CVs- ZANU PF

Boasting that it is better than the CCC, the Zanu PF National Elections Directorate and Security Department says it will thoroughly scrutinise thousands of CVs that have been submitted from across the country for submission to the Politburo that will make final approvals.

Mike Bimha

This comes as thousands of people, including the young, the old and women have thrown their hats in the ring—hoping to represent the ruling party in the forthcoming by-elections.

As of yesterday, provinces were still submitting the CVs that were submitted for the Senate, House of Assembly, local authorities, women, and youth quotas to the ruling party headquarters.

Observers said the overwhelming response from across different demographic groups and professions is an attestation of the popularity of Zanu PF and its people-tailored policies as enunciated by President Mnangagwa.

Before submission to the National Elections Directorate, Zanu PF Political Commissar Mike Bimha said Provincial Elections Directorates only make their comments and remarks without necessarily denying any candidate to lodge his or her CV.

By Farai D Hove | Publisher Trevor Ncube has announced sensational accusations against CCC leader Nelson Chamisa saying he has finally accepted bribes from Emmerson Mnangagwa.

While a comment from Chamisa was awaited, Ncube continued to struggle to clear himself of a pile of false claims including that the exiled G40 ministers, Saviour Kasukuwere and Jonathan Moyo are currently stuck at KG6 barracks since Nov 2017. The two have never been to the barracks since their government days.

Says Ncube-

Cyclone Freddy Returns

– New Ziana

Another Zanu PF Kid Cleared Of US$5.8 Million Fraud

By-A Harare magistrate has acquitted Wicknell Chivayo and his company Intratrek Zimbabwe of defrauding the Zimbabwe Power Company (ZPC) of US$5.8 million.

On Monday, 13 March 2023, Harare regional magistrate Lanzini Ncube granted Chivayo and Intratrek’s application for refusal for further remand at the close of the state case.

ZimLive reported that Chivayo and Intratrek were found not guilty and acquitted of all four counts of fraud, money laundering, violation of exchange control regulations and confiscation of profits due to lack of evidence.

Chivayo and Intratrek Zimbabwe were represented by Advocates Lewis Uriri and Sylvester Hashiti respectively, both instructed by Wilson Tatenda Manase of Manase & Manase Legal Practitioners.

Tafara Chirambira and Tendayi Shonhayi appeared for the National Prosecuting Authority.

Here is what Magistrate Ncube said:

Whilst I recognise the State’s prerogative to bring criminal complaints and charges against individuals, the law demands that same must be on the basis of reasonable suspicion and on probable cause.

It the High Court civil suit in which Intratrek won against ZPC, the complainant denied ever instituting a criminal suit against Chivayo and his company.

It is a pinnacle of criminal procedure that for a person to be competently charged and tried of a criminal offence, there should be a person (natural or jurist) who should complain of criminal conduct of the accused persons.

It invites confusion and uncertainty on how the state formulated these charges preferred against the accused persons if the known complainant has denied ever instituting the same.

The State on June 30, 2022, through cabinet which is the highest decision-making body in the executive, the first arm of government, has already ordered that the contract between the accused persons and ZPC is valid and must be carried into effect.

The pronouncements from cabinet are public knowledge hence the approval and endorsement for parties to continue with the project in issue.

“There can neither be reasonable suspicion nor probable cause on which accused persons can therefore be brought to court. There was no misrepresentation, prejudice nor fraud establishing any criminal charge against them.

The criminal charges preferred against the accused persons are expiable as they do not disclose any criminal act that warrants the adjudication of our criminal justice system.

The cause of action arises from a contractual arrangement between accused persons and ZPC, which arrangement provides for all the applicable remedies in the event of breach, whether actual or perceived.

On a charge of fraud, the intention to deceive must exist at the time that the misrepresentation is made. In this case, such intention must be alleged to have existed on each of the dates on which invoices were presented to ZPC for payment.

The non-existence of such intention immediately becomes apparent if one considers that the relationship between the parties was regulated by an Engineering Procurement and Construction Contract (EPC) which authorised payment before works had been done.

Consequently, the allegations are neither founded upon nor do they meet the essential requirements of the crime of fraud as defined in the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act [Chapter 9:23].

The conduct complained against for both accused persons as constituting fraud is frivolous and cannot be supported by the factual circumstances under which the amount of USD$5,811,224 was utilised.

There is uncontroverted evidence which proves that the entire amount paid by ZPC was utilised in accordance with the requirements of the EPC Contract.

The comprehensive report on the evaluation of the pre-commencement works which was jointly carried out and ratified by ZPC and accused persons on July 13, 2020, is clear.

The importance of this evaluation report confirms that accused persons not only discharged their contractual mandate in full with respect to the pre-commencement works, but went further to utilise their own resources to complete some of the required works.

The report vindicates them from all the unfounded allegations that they short-changed or in the least, defrauded ZPC.

Contrary to the misleading narrative as suggested in the state outline, the report confirms that as at July 13, 2020, ZPC owed Intratrek the sum of US$609,693.87 arising from works which have been over delivered.

The acceptance by ZPC that the accused over delivered on its obligations in accordance with the EPC contract and utilised the advance payment for pre-commencement activities places beyond any reasonable doubt that no party was defrauded.

It escapes the mind how the charge of fraud can be sustained as arising from the foregoing circumstances. All payments made by ZPC were advance payments, they were authorised by the contractual document.

The intention by both parties as expressed in the contract was that works would be done after the payments.

That negates the intention on the part of the accused persons to cause any prejudice to ZPC.

It would be indeed a sad day for both justice and the economy of Zimbabwe to allow for untenable and fruitless prosecution of entities that should otherwise be advancing the national interest of the country without any sound or legal basis to do so.

The complainant is a private company owned by the State, like the accused persons it must have the same rights and liabilities.

The law is that whenever the State or its affiliate enters into a contract, it must be treated equally as the other party to the contract.

It must find its remedies and/or incur its liabilities in terms of the contract.

The contract must be the beginning and the end in resolving whatever dispute that might arise between the parties.

While grappling with power shortages stretching up to 16 hours of load shedding, the importance of the 100MW Gwanda Solar Project to the nation of Zimbabwe can therefore not be over emphasised.

Achieving energy self-sufficiency lies at the core of government’s drive to make Zimbabwe an upper middle income economy by 2030.

Renewable energy and the guarantee of its availability dovetails and anchors the objectives under the National Development Strategy 1 and 2, which are economic blueprints of the Second Republic.

I regrettably find the instigation of criminal proceedings as spurious and no court exercising its mind properly can convict.

Accordingly, I hereby find both accused persons not guilty and acquitted on all five counts.

Mnangagwa Refuses To Free Sikhala

By-CCC leader Nelson Chamisa has said that President Emmerson Mnangagwa rejected intervening in the persecution of the jailed Zengeza West Member of Parliament Job Sikhala.

Addressing a press briefing in Harare on Thursday, Chamisa claimed that he has written to President Emmerson Mnangagwa several times to facilitate Sikhala’s release.
Sikhala has been in pre-trial detention since his arrest on 14 June 2022 for allegedly inciting public violence and obstructing justice.
Chamisa said he told Mnangagwa that Sikhala’s continued incarceration has harmed the image of the country. Said Chamisa:
I have even made efforts to write severally to Mr. Mnangagwa to say deal with this Sikhala issue, it is embarrassing us internationally and nationally.
He has chosen not to respond. But I have written to him. I wrote to him in private conversations indicating to him what the issues are, but he did not respond.
I have heard people say that oh Mr. Chamisa is neglecting Sikhala, he is neglecting people. You don’t blame the
victim, the perpetrator is there.
My wallet has been stolen, instead of blaming me for being stupid, why don’t we together deal with this thief?
That’s where the problem is, do not blame the victim, don’t victimise the victim. I am equally as concerned and as worried.
Chamisa said he has been blocked from visiting Sikhala at Chikurubi Maximum Security Prison, and last saw him at the courts.
He said CCC is missing Sikhala’s hands-on approach in advancing the cause of the opposition party. Said Chamisa:
He is a foot soldier and I would want him to be in the battalion for change. He is not there.
Why is he not there? Because he has been incarcerated. Why has he been incarcerated? Because of trumped-up charges.

Senator Shuts Schools To Attend ZANU PF Rally

Dear

It’s really sad and very sad indeed coming at a time when the pupils are busy with their end of term exams. On this day Monday 13 March 2023 one Senator Larry Mavhima, (ZANU PF) is holding a campaign rally at Murowa business centre and has ordered schools to close for the day so that all those eligible to vote attend his political campaign rally after which the attendants will be given a small packet of mealie meal.

ZANU PF Supporters in their usual vibrant mood besides the country’s problems.

This is nonsense and should never be entertained in any society for our children’s right to education is being trumpled upon by some greedy politicians who only appear during election time. Why dishing out mealie meal now a few days before the primary elections when the very same people have been starving for 5 long years? Your bait of mealie meal is clear evidence of vote buying and in a normal political environment warrants immediate suspension. Where were you when the people wanted you most Cde Mavhima?

On several occasions you spurned and ignored the calls by the very same people you now want them to vote for you. You never bothered to acknowledge our raised concerns and grievances as you enjoyed the comfort of your numerous offices and portfolios as you have more than three positions associated with you. As the provincial minister responsible for devolution what and how did you use the devolution funds? Murowa ward is home to the biggest diamond mine in Zimbabwe but is the poorest ward because of lazy and uncaring politicians who only think of people during election time.

The closure of schools due to some political rallies must be stopped immediately as innocent pupils lose learning time. Any reasonable parent must stand up for the right to quality education at all material times. Voters must not be hoodwinked by greedy politicians who are after self aggrandizement. We voters must demand tangible development leading to uplifting of our living standards. Any voted politician must be a servant of the voters not a “shefu’. As voters we have the powers to say no to non performers.

Thank you for the mealie meal Cde Senator but that’s not good enough for you are reducing people to perennial beggars.

Your vote is your voice

Businessman Risks Incarceration

By A Correspondent| Businessman Ofer Sivan facing US$762 000 and $22 million fraud allegations risks incarceration for interfering with witnesses in the matter which is set to be heard in the High Court on March 28.

Sivan is accused of defrauding his business partners Gilad Shabtai and Munyaradzi Gonyora and trying to take control of their firm Adlecraft Investments.

He has been trying to avoid trial and initially tried to have the charges withdrawn which failed. His lawyers also applied for quashing of charges which was again dismissed by the court.

Working in cahoots with the police, Sivan caused the arrest of Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission investigator Smart Marlon Mandofa who arrested him and targeted two other investigators.

They accused Mandofa and the other Zacc officers of associating with Shabtai whom they allege was on an outstanding warrant of apprehension and a fugitive from justice.

The warrant has however turned out to be nullity, which Dandanyika admitted, as it is not recognised at law having been issued on a non-existent provision.

He failed to justify the Shabtai fugitive claims after it was proved to him that the businessman was in the country last where he was cleared at the airport before meeting the president.

Mandofa was granted $100 000 bail by regional magistrate Stanford Mambanje after his arresting detail Albert Dandanyika was embarrassed in court, failing to state what he violated.

The State had opposed bail against him saying they had a strong case against him which however failed to stand with Dandanyika conceding that Mandofa was arrested for doing his job, receiving instructions and cases to investigate and arrest.

His lawyer Admire Rubaya described the arrest and targeting of other Zacc officers as direct interference with possible witnesses in the matter which is set for trial on March 28 before the High Court.

During cross examination, Dandanyika was at pains to prove that there was a red notice against Shabtai.

He also failed to prove that there is an existing case against Shabtai and was shown documents to show that the matter was declined by the prosecution.

He was accused of being a hired gun, brought to court to lie against his fellow cop who was seconded to Zacc before conceding to have him granted bail.

Rubaya further emphasised the illegality of the alleged warrant of apprehension saying it does not exist at law, reinforcing what Mandofa said in his warned and cautioned statement to the police.

“I have further learnt that the alleged warrant of arrest against the complainant was never a valid warrant in the first place. It was allegedly issued by her Worship Mateko basing on a non-existing provision of the law. There is no section 37 (1) of the CPEA which was allegedly used to issue a warrant of arrest.

“In the circumstances these charges are a clear abuse of the criminal justice system. If there was no valid warrant of arrest in the first place, then Gilad Shabtai was not on a warrant of arrest then these charges become a nullity.

“one cannot put something on nothing and expect it to stand and it will collapse. The warrant of apprehension was itself an abuse of the criminal justice system for it was sought and granted based on non-existent provision of law and cannot be used to cause my arrest,” he said.

6 Things To Keep In Mind Before Buying CBD Honey

Buying CBD honey online can be a great choice for consumers looking for convenience shopping from home. You’ll almost always find a wider selection online, including various flavors and concentrations. Depending on the brand, different strengths and varieties are typically offered. Many products are organic, non-GMO, and free of additives or preservatives. The honey might be available in various cannabidiol forms such as isolate or Full Spectrum CBD. Shopping online also allows you to read product descriptions, detailed ingredient labels, and reviews from other customers who have purchased the product.

Here Are 6 Things To Keep In Mind Before Buying CBD Honey

1. Understand It Is

If you are considering CBD honey, it is crucial to understand exactly what it is and its potential benefits. This honey is a combination of natural honey derived from bees and industrial hemp-derived cannabidiol.

Research into the use of this honey for therapeutic effects is still in its infancy, so further study will be needed before any definitive statements can be made on the health benefits or risks associated with its use. However, those interested in the honey may want to try a product from a respected source to ensure quality and potency.

2. Research Different Brands

When considering the purchase of CBD honey, it is essential to do your homework. Researching different brands before buying can help you make an informed decision and ensure that the product you select meets quality standards and is rich in beneficial cannabinoids.

This process should start with a visit to the official websites of various companies to learn more about their production methods, ingredients, and backstory. Additionally, customer reviews can be a great source of information; they are typically honest reviews from people with personal experience with the product.

With this knowledge, take the time to ask questions and compare prices between different brands to decide which Cannabidiol honey is right for you!

3. Compare Prices

Before purchasing CBD honey, comparing prices and making an informed decision is essential. With so many different brands and products on the market, it can be challenging to know which product is right for you and what a fair price is.

Research online and read reviews from customers who have tried different products to get a good idea of what’s out there. Make sure you check the ingredients carefully – it’s best to go for honey that is 100% natural with no added chemicals or preservatives.

Use your research to compare prices between different brands and find one that offers the highest quality at the best value. Investing some time into researching will help you find the perfect CBD honey for your needs without breaking the bank.

4. Know Your Dosage Needs

If you’ve been considering adding CBD honey to your daily regimen, it’s essential to start by understanding what dosage level is right for you. Knowing how much Cannabidiol is ideal for your individual health needs is essential in using this product effectively.

Everyone’s body reacts differently to the various dosages available depending on age, weight, and particular health concerns that could influence the speed of absorption. Additionally, even if your diet and lifestyle remain consistent, environmental fluctuations can change how the body processes a specific dosage of Cannabidiol.

Addressing these variable factors ahead of time will ensure you get the most out of your purchase in terms of personal health benefits.

5. Read Lab Reports

Shopping for CBD honey can be a very confusing endeavor. With so many brands offering different types of products, it’s impossible to know whether what you’re buying is effective or even if it contains the advertised content. The best way to ensure you get what you paid is to always read lab reports on the product before purchasing.

Reputable manufacturers will provide independent third-party lab results verifying the hemp content, phytochemical contents, and levels of THC and other cannabinoids so that customers can have complete confidence in their purchase decision.

Taking the time to read lab reports before buying this honey will help ensure your shopping experience is successful.

6. Seek Out Reviews And Testimonials

Before incorporating CBD honey into your routine, it is essential to do your research. Look for reviews and testimonials from those who have used the product to understand how it affected them.

Seek feedback that offers insight into the taste or texture of the product, its effects, and what kind of customer service the company offers should you need help after your purchase. With a bit of time spent researching before making a decision, you’ll be able to find the best honey for you and ensure an enjoyable experience going forward.

How To Save Money While Buying CBD Honey?

One of the best ways to save money when purchasing CBD honey is to shop around. Look for retailers that offer discounts and sales, especially bulk orders or discounts on multiple items. Coupon codes are also a great way to save money on online purchases.

Additionally, look for products from a reputable source, such as those that sell organic and non-GMO products, as these will typically be of higher quality and provide more bang for your buck. Finally, compare prices across different sites to ensure you get the best deal possible.

With some strategic shopping habits and research, you can easily find quality CBD honey at an affordable price.

The Legal Status Of CBD Honey

The legal status of CBD honey is rapidly evolving within the United States. While the regulations vary from state to state, it is generally accepted that hemp-derived Cannabidiol is legal in all 50 states, although products containing this compound may be subject to restrictions when sold at the retail level.

However, due to its cannabinoid content and potential health benefits, many companies are now producing this honey and selling it online. These products typically contain a full-spectrum hemp extract, honey or syrup, and flavorings such as lavender and lime.

As always, consumers should take caution when shopping online for CBD honey, as many unscrupulous vendors market products that do not comply with local regulations.

Summing It Up

Buying CBD honey online is an easy, affordable way to start enjoying the benefits of this product. With the many flavors and forms available, there is something for everyone’s taste. One question that often arises when considering this honey is, does cbd smell? While some hemp-derived products may have a unique smell due to their terpene content, high-quality honey has virtually no odor.

Serving Police Officers Team Up With Civilians To Carry Out Armed Robberies

Two serving members of the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) and their two unemployed accomplices appeared at the Harare Magistrates Court on Saturday facing armed robbery charges.

The suspects, Walter Chanhuhwa (41) of ZRP Highfield, Emmanuel Dzingwe (30) of ZRP Epworth, Egypt Musundire (30) and Tongai Chikumba (30) appeared before magistrate Stanford Mambanje, who remanded them in custody and advised them to approach the High Court for bail.

The suspects were being represented by Emmanuel Samundombe.

Allegations are that on February 26 this year at around 2:30pm, the accused persons, in the company of their two accomplices who are still at large, hatched a plan to rob one Vijay Balan.

Driving a Toyota Grand white in colour with no registration numbers, the accused proceeded to Balan’s residence, with Musundire armed with a pistol, while other suspects were armed with iron bars.

Upon arrival at the gate, they hooted for attention and Muthusamy Raju went to the gate to investigate.

Raju allegedly discovered that there were all black male adults and enquired on their mission.

It is alleged that there was no response from the accused persons and suddenly Musundire, Chikumba and the two other suspects forced open the small gate to gain entry into the yard.

They manhandled Raju and frog-marched him to the house, eventually confronting Syed Yaseen who was repairing a truck on the premises.

The accused then handcuffed the complainants, ordering them to lie on the floor in one of the rooms used as an office.

They searched the complainants and took away their cellphones.

The suspects then commandeered Balan to his bedroom and demanded money.

Balan indicated that he had no money, but the accused persons threatened to shoot him.

Out of fear, the complainant then showed them a box which had US$3 000 and 5 000 Indian rupees.

Two other complainants namely Chandrasekhar Mudupu and Sathish Bokka came driving a silver Toyota Mark X vehicle intending to check on the progress made by Yaseen, who is their mechanic.

They found the accused’s getaway motor vehicle parked at the gate and one Dzingwe was behind the steering wheel. Dzingwe reversed from the gate allowing Mudupu to drive in.

Immediately upon entry into the yard, Chanhuhwa confronted Mudupu and Bokka, searched them and took away their cellphones.

“Zanu PF Has Completely Ignored”

By Wilbert Mukori- One of the most obnoxious things appoint white racism is the how the whites denied the blacks a voice. “Our blacks are very happy it is the Russian and Chinese communists how are agitating for black majority rule because they want to colonise the country,” the whites would say.

The blacks were never given the opportunity to speak for themselves. Of course, they were not happy! Who can ever be happy when they are being treated as third class citizens, oppressed, exploited and denied the freedoms and basic human rights including the right to a meaningful say in the governance of the country.

In Rhodesia, blacks did not have a vote. Period!

Sadly, things did not change much in independence Zimbabwe. We remove the white oppressors only to get black oppressors. The ordinary Zimbabwean had the freedoms and rights in theory but not in practice. Robert Mugabe and his Zanu PF cronies made it clear that if the party lost the 1980 elections, the bush war would continue. Of course, the people voted to end the war.

Some people have argued the threat was just campaigning stratagem born out of the mistrust of the British and the whites holding a free, fair and credible elections. The doubters were silence the victorious Zanu PF regime launched the 1983 to 1987 Gukurahundi massacre whose sole purpose was to force PF Zapu to sign the Unity Accord and join Zanu PF. This cleared the way for the imposition of the de facto one party state.

Zanu PF has rigged elections ever since the country’s independence all in the name of unity, development and peace. All lies! The nation has never enjoyed peace, especially during elections when the regime has blatantly rigged the elections and used wanton violence to retain its iron grip on power. 43 years of gross mismanagement and rampant corruption have left the country’s once upon a time robust economy in ruins.

Zanu PF has completely ignored the demands of the ordinary Zimbabweans for free, fair and credible elections not only as birth right but as the prerequisite for good governance, peace, justice and economic prosperity. The regime, just like the Smith white regime before it, has only heard the Americans and the British’s call for free elections. It has dismissed the calls as “regime change agenda”.

How it has never occurred to Zanu PF leaders that the millions of ordinary Zimbabweans want free, fair and credible elections and regime change, especially given the country’s economic ruins; beggars belief. Of course, Zanu PF leaders have elected to ignore the suffering and lamentation of the ordinary Zimbabweans.

Alas! It is not only the Zanu PF regime that has turned a deaf ear to the cries of ordinary Zimbabweans for free and fair elections; the ANC regime in SA is now fighting in Zanu PF’s corner, fighting to end the West’s “regime change agenda”.

“The US and UK, Mbalula charged, have been changing goal posts every time an opportunity presents itself for the two global powerhouses to drop sanctions against Zimbabwe,” reported Bulawayo 24.

“Such an opportunity, he added, came to being when incumbent President Emerson Mnangagwa toppled Robert Mugabe through a bloodless coup.”

“President Mugabe was characterised as the main problem and was removed through a coup d’etat in Zimbabwe,” Mbalula said.

“Mnangagwa came in and still the British and the Americans are looking the other way and not coming to the party.

“What the Americans and British want in Zimbabwe is regime change. We are now faced with Zimbabweans crossing to South Africa because in Zimbabwe there is no bread.”

This is utter nonsense:

  1. the removal of Mugabe through a military coup underlined just how desperate the political system in Zimbabwe had become, Mugabe could not be remove through free, fair and credible elections, only a military coup.
  1. following the coup, Mnangagwa and his coup plotters promised to stamp out corruption and to hold free and fair elections. They corruption is rampant and they went on to blatantly rig the 2018 elections; confirming Zimbabwe was still a pariah state ruled by corrupt and vote rigging thugs. The November 2017 military coup facilitated a musical chairs changes in Zanu PF otherwise nothing of substance changed.
  1. everyone know Zanu PF has repeatedly failed to hold free, fair and credible elections and that is the reason why Zimbabwe withdraw from the Commonwealth before it was booted out in 2003. The country’s application to be readmitted was refused because it failed to hold free elections in 2018.
  1. SADC refused to endorse Zanu PF’s 2008 election victory because of the blatant cheating and wanton violence, it was so bad even they could not ignore it. It was none other than the regional body itself that forced Zanu PF to sign the 2008 Global Political Agreement (GPA), agreeing to the need for Zimbabwe to implement the raft of democratic reforms. SADC was the guarantor of the agreement and President Thabo Mbeki of SA signed on behalf of the regional body.
  1. SADC leaders know that not even one meaningful reform was implemented during the five years of the GNU nor since. Zanu PF emerged from the GNU with all its carte blanche powers to rig elections. Zanu PF rigged the 2013 and 2018 elections and is rigging the 2023 elections.
  1. the root cause of Zimbabwe’s economic mess and political turmoil is the country’s failure to hold free, fair and credible elections. The ANC government knows this and why it is choosing to pretending to be blind, deaf and stupid and indifferent to the cries for free elections in Zimbabwe beggars belief.

The ANC government has held free, fair and credible elections since the end of apartheid in 1994 and so they know that Zanu PF has been rigging elections. They also know that Zanu PF would have never lasted these last 43 years if the party held free and fair elections.

So ANC know it would be the democratic wishes of the people of Zimbabwe to have regime change in Zimbabwe. And by granting the vote rigging Zanu PF legitimacy, ANC is frustrating the people of Zimbabwe’s democratic wish.

Why? What has ANC to gain from propping up a corrupt, incompetent and vote rigging Zanu PF regime?

It is only by looking at the mess SA is in today, nearing 30 years of corrupt and mediocre ANC rule have reduced that country into a real mess. As we speak many South Africans are sitting in the dark, the sweeping power cuts have crippled the country, for example. The chaos in ESKOM is repeated in all the other sectors across the board. And, worst of all, the ANC government, which is responsible the economic mess, has no clue what to do to end this mess.

History will show that the ANC government is hell bent on stopping regime change in Zimbabwe because it prefers the dunderhead Zanu PF government because its own failures in SA will be nothing compared to the mess in Zimbabwe.

The tragic irony is that the economic meltdown in Zimbabwe has accelerated SA’s economic collapse and as long as Zimbabwe remains a failed state, SA’s economic recovery will be that much harder. It is not in SA’s interest to keep dunderheads in power in Zimbabwe!

Gold Price (XAU/USD) Retreats From Highest Level In 5 Weeks

Gold Price (XAU/USD) pares the daily gains as it retreats from the highest levels in five weeks, marked earlier in the day, to $1,885 by the press time of the early Asian session on Monday.

In doing so, the precious metal struggles to extend the previous two-week uptrend as the United States Treasury Department and Federal Reserve (Fed) take action to defend the financial market crisis risk emanating from Silicon Valley Bank.

That said, the XAU/USD ignored better than forecast US Nonfarm Payrolls (NFP) to renew the one-month high, before rallying to a five-week top earlier in the day, as the US Dollar traced downbeat Treasury bond yields.

Gold price eases on measures to defend Silicon Valley Bank fallout

United States Treasury Department, Federal Reserve and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) took joint actions to tame the risks emanating from the Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) fallout during the weekend and exert downside pressure on Gold prices of late. “Taking decisive actions to protect the US economy by strengthening public confidence in our banking system,” said the US Treasury Department and Federal Reserve (Fed) in joint statements on the action plan to defend the Silicon Valley Bank (SVB). Market sentiment improved after the news release as the US regulators also closed the Signature Bank and announced plans to make depositors whole. While portraying the mood, S&P 500 Futures and the US Treasury bond yields rise after a downbeat close the previous day. It should be noted that the market sentiment roiled on Friday after the SVB spread the risks of another financial crisis.

Govt’s $50 Salary Increment Offer Rejected By Civil Servants

Government workers reportedly rejected a US$50 salary increment offered by their employer during the National Joint Negotiating Council (NJNC) negotiations held last week Friday.

Government had offered a US$20 increment from US$200 and the latest meeting saw another increment that will see the lowest-paid worker earning US$250.

Representatives of the civil servants in the Friday salary negotiations, the Zimbabwe Congress of Public Sector Trade Unions (ZCPSTU), did not disclose the figures tabled by government during the negotiations, but only said there were issues that they did not agree with.

Government and ZCPSTU met under the NJNC for the second time this year on Friday for salary talks, with civil servants demanding a salary increment that would see the least-paid worker earning US$840.

Currently, teachers, for example, are earning about $36 000 and a US$120 component, plus a US$75 COVID-19 allowance.

Government also offered a 100% increment on the teachers’ local currency earnings, up from a 50% hike provided last week.

“The government made several concessions on our demands, but there are outstanding issues. As a workers’ team of negotiators, we requested the government team of negotiators to engage their principals and make further consultations about the outstanding demands. The meeting has agreed to meet on March 16, 2023, for feedback from the government’s side,” ZCPSU said in a statement on Friday.

Public Service ministry secretary Simon Masanga said the ongoing negotiations with ZCPSTU were “fruitful”.

Zimbabwe Teachers Association secretary-general Goodwill Taderera said government had agreed to pay the salary increment starting next month, but the workers rejected the offer.

“Government reviewed our gross salaries in local currency from 50% to 100% and reconfigured the COVID-19 allowance and the cushion allowance to the amalgamated civil service allowance, which moved from the previously offered US$220 to US$250.

“Additionally, there is a teaching allowance of US$80 paid in local currency. This is inflation-adjusted. But we have not yet agreed on any of these figures. The effective date was given as April 1, 2023, which we rejected and demanded that it be backdated to January,” Taderera said.

Meanwhile, Amalgamated Rural Teachers Union president Obert Masarawure said a strike was looming.

“Our power is not in the boardroom, but in collective action by workers. So we are mobilising workers for a massive strike to resume on March 13, 2023, if the government fails to address our demands,” he said.

Cleric Blasts George Charamba

Tinashe Sambiri|Divine Destiny leader Bishop Ancelimo Magaya has reprimanded government spokesperson George Charamba for gloating over the detention of CCC deputy chairperson Job Sikhala.

Bishop Magaya declared Mr Emmerson Mnangagwa and his ilk would be victims of their own shenanigans.

See statement below:

Toxic environment in Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe has sadly become a boiling cauldron of deadly mixture, ranging from those warning fellow citizens like Peter Mutasa of “numbered days” as though they are God, to the bureaucrats like “Jamwanda” who shamelessly stoop so low to the point of celebrating the continuous detention of Sikala.

As we warned the former President Mugabe Prof Jonathan Moyo, kasukuwere and team in 2016 that they were not safe from the vicious and toxic environment they had aided in creating, we also warn enablers like George Charamba on the basis of the authority of the word of God that divine justice is not far.

Beware of being trapped in the webs of your own making. God is no fool“These things you have done, and l kept silent. You thought that l was altogether like you, but l will rebuke you and set them in order before your eyes” (Psalm 50:21). God save Zimbabwe.

Mnangagwa Plays Hide And Seek Over Election Date

State Media- Election dates will be announced soon, President Mnangagwa hinted at the weekend, but urged everyone to remain peaceful and shun violence as the country gets into election campaign mode.
Addressing thousands of people who attended the national field day at his Precabe Farm in Sherwood, Kwekwe, on Saturday, the President said Zimbabweans must put each other first, before their political affiliation, to ensure peace before, during and after elections.

“We are going for harmonised elections very soon. We must maintain this peace, this unity which we are enjoying,” said President Mnangagwa.

“First, we must be proud to be Zimbabwean, whether we are poor or not we should be proud to be Zimbabwean.

“We must love our neighbours. The Lord above blesses nations that love others, who promote peace, who promote harmony.”

President Mnangagwa said Zimbabweans were a peace-loving people and should always uphold peace, avoiding incidents of violence during election campaigns. They should strive to uphold unity bound by the fact that they were one people.

“We are by nature very peaceful people. Violence is alien to us. We are Zimbabweans. We should build our Zimbabwe; it is nature which gave us this land between Zambezi and Limpopo. Others are in Mozambique, it’s the Lord who made them Mozambicans; others are in Portugal, it’s the Lord who said they must be Portuguese. So be proud of your country.

“Be remembered for building your country, not destroying your country. Be remembered for uniting people not disunity. Be remembered for preaching peace and not for preaching hate.”

Opposition elements, he said, were a normal occurrence in any society. The country, which is on an economic rebound under the Second Republic, was aware of its detractors that are bent on reversing the gains achieved so far.

Turning to sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe by the West, President Mnangagwa said imperialists tried to push regime change, but the Second Republic had managed to circumvent the sanctions.

“Yes, sanctions were imposed on us with the view of causing disharmony amongst the people so there could be regime change, but not at any one point did the plan nearly succeed.

“Now, the reverse is what is happening; we are getting more and more enlightened. But in Shona we say, ‘in a family not all family members will pull in the same direction’. One or two will pull in the opposite direction and in our country it also happens. That doesn’t make us lose sleep. In fact, it makes us sleep because we know who are pulling in the opposite direction. So it’s our country: let us build our country,” said the President.

Zimbabwe sought to establish good relations with all countries of the world under the mantra, “a friend to all and enemy to none”.

This has seen the Second Republic embarking on an engagement and re-engagement drive to mend relations with those countries that turned their backs on Zimbabwe following land reform while creating new relations with other countries and maintaining the existing good relations with others.

Vice President Dr Constantino Chiwenga echoed President Mnangagwa’s peace call.

“We are headed for harmonised elections in a few months to come and we must all be peaceful. Every time I am reminded of the late former Vice President Dr John Land Nkomo, who said peace should begin with me, peace should begin with you and that peace should begin with us all. So we all uphold peace,” he said.-state media

Man Kills Beer Mate

State Media-A Hwange man who fatally assaulted a fellow reveller with a wooden plank following a misunderstanding over beer has been jailed seven years for culpable homicide.
Ragee Muleya from BH43 village under Chief Shana in Jambezi, who was 24 at the time of committing the offense in March last year, pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of culpable homicide when he appeared before Bulawayo High Court judge, Justice Maxwell Takuva.

Sitting on circuit at Hwange Magistrate court, Justice Takuva convicted Muleya on a culpable homicide charge for negligently causing the death of 24-year-old Talent Munkena, slapping him with a seven-year prison term before conditionally suspending two years.

According to a statement of agreed facts between the state led by Mrs Martha Cheda and defense counsel’s Mr Douglas Ncube from Legal Aid Directorate on 27 March 2022 and at around 23:30hrs, the accused and the deceased were at Wellington Bar drinking opaque. During the course of the beer binge, the two had an altercation over some beer before the deceased threatened the accused with assault.

The deceased subsequently fulfilled his threat, assaulting the accused with an open hand once on the face. The accused then picked a wooden plank, which was inside the bar and struck the deceased who fell down unconscious once on the head.

Other revellers, Silibaziso Sibindi and Thabani Moyo rendered first aid on the deceased and he regained consciousness before he was ferried to Jambezi clinic for treatment.

However, the deceased succumbed to injuries sustained from the assault nine days later on 5 April 2022. Meanwhile, in a related case, a 25-year-old Inyathi man was sentenced to six years imprisonment for causing the death of Malaki Ndlovu whom he fatally struck for “interfering in my business”.

Justice Takuva found Nelson Ncube not guilty of murder but convicted him on a lesser charge of culpable homicide for causing death of Ndlovu who was 41 years old at the time he met his death. One year of the sentence was suspended for five years for good behaviour.

The state and defense agreed that on 30 April 2022 and at around 1900hrs, Ncube and Ndlovu were at Joylink Bottlestore playing snooker as well as drinking ‘hot stuff’ beer with some unidentified persons. During that time, the deceased had a misunderstanding with one of the patrons only identified as Mtshifana before Ncube reprimanded the former.

This, however, did not go down well with the deceased who approached the accused and queried why he was interfering in the issue. A misunderstanding ensued before the two started pushing and shoving each other. Ncube then struck the deceased once on the forehead with a snooker stick he was holding resulting in him falling down unconscious.

The accused and Polite Sinela rendered first aid on the deceased before he fled the scene after pouring water on the deceased while Sinela covered the deceased with a blanket as he was shivering. The deceased was ferried to the hospital the following day where he later died.-state media

What Is Ear Examination?

By 2050 nearly 2.5 billion people are projected to have some degree of hearing loss and at least 700 million will require hearing rehabilitation.
Over 1 billion young adults are at risk of permanent, avoidable hearing loss due to unsafe listening practices.
An annual additional investment of less than US$ 1.40 per person is needed to scale up ear and hearing care services globally.

Over a 10-year period, this promises a return of nearly US$ 16 for every US dollar invested.
Overview
Over 5% of the world’s population – or 430 million people – require rehabilitation to address their disabling hearing loss (432 million adults and 34 million children). It is estimated that by 2050 over 700 million people – or 1 in every 10 people – will have disabling hearing loss.LHS wax removal

‘Disabling’ hearing loss refers to hearing loss greater than 35 decibels (dB) in the better hearing ear. Nearly 80% of people with disabling hearing loss live in low- and middle-income countries. The prevalence of hearing loss increases with age, among those older than 60 years, over 25% are affected by disabling hearing loss.

Hearing loss and deafness

A person who is not able to hear as well as someone with normal hearing – hearing thresholds of 20 dB or better in both ears – is said to have hearing loss. Hearing loss may be mild, moderate, severe, or profound. It can affect one ear or both ears and leads to difficulty in hearing conversational speech or loud sounds.

‘Hard of hearing’ refers to people with hearing loss ranging from mild to severe. People who are hard of hearing usually communicate through spoken language and can benefit from hearing aids, cochlear implants, and other assistive devices as well as captioning.

‘Deaf’ people mostly have profound hearing loss, which implies very little or no hearing. They often use sign language for communication.

Causes of hearing loss and deafness
Although these factors can be encountered at different periods across the life span, individuals are most susceptible to their effects during critical periods in life.

Prenatal period
genetic factors including hereditary and non-hereditary hearing loss
intrauterine infections – such as rubella and cytomegalovirus infection.

Perinatal period
birth asphyxia (a lack of oxygen at the time of birth
hyperbilirubinemia (severe jaundice in the neonatal period)
low-birth weight
other perinatal morbidities and their management.

Childhood and adolescence
chronic ear infections (chronic suppurative otitis media)
collection of fluid in the ear (chronic nonsuppurative otitis media)
meningitis and other infections.
Adulthood and older age
chronic diseases
smoking
otosclerosis
age-related sensorineural degeneration
sudden sensorineural hearing loss.
Factors across the life span
cerumen impaction (impacted ear wax)
trauma to the ear or head
loud noise/loud sounds
ototoxic medicines
work related ototoxic chemicals
nutritional deficiencies
viral infections and other ear conditions
delayed onset or progressive genetic hearing loss.
The impact of unaddressed hearing loss
When unaddressed, hearing loss impacts many aspects of life at individual level:

communication and speech
cognition
education and employment: In developing countries, children with hearing loss and deafness often do not receive schooling. Adults with hearing loss also have a much higher unemployment rate.

Among those who are employed, a higher percentage of people with hearing loss are in the lower grades of employment compared with the general workforce.
social isolation, loneliness and stigma
impact on society and economy
effects on years lived with disability (YDLs) and disability adjusted life years (DALYs).

WHO estimates that unaddressed hearing loss poses an annual global cost of US$ 980 billion. This includes health sector costs (excluding the cost of hearing devices), costs of educational support, loss of productivity, and societal costs. Of these costs, 57% are attributed to low- and middle-income countries.

Prevention
Many of the causes that lead to hearing loss can be avoided through public health strategies and clinical interventions implemented across the life course.

Prevention of hearing loss is essential throughout the life course, from prenatal and perinatal periods to older age. In children, nearly 60% of hearing loss is due to avoidable causes that can be prevented through implementation of public health measures. Likewise, most common causes of hearing loss in adults, such as exposure to loud sounds and ototoxic medicines, are preventable.

Effective strategies for reducing hearing loss at different stages of the life course include:

immunization;
good maternal and childcare practices;
genetic counselling;
identification and management of common ear conditions;
occupational hearing conservation programmes for noise and chemical exposure;
safe listening strategies for the reduction of exposure to loud sounds in recreational settings; and
rational use of medicines to prevent ototoxic hearing loss.
Identification and management
Early identification of hearing loss and ear diseases is key to effective management.

This requires systematic screening for detection of hearing loss and related ear diseases in those who are most at risk. This includes:

newborn babies and infants
pre-school and school-age children
people exposed to noise or chemicals at work
people receiving ototoxic medicines
older adults.

Hearing assessment and ear examination can be conducted in clinical and community settings. Tools such as the WHO “hearWHO” app and other technology-based solutions make it possible to screen for ear diseases and hearing loss with limited training and resources.

Once hearing loss is identified, it is essential that it is addressed as early as possible and in an appropriate manner, to mitigate any adverse impact.

Measures available to rehabilitate people with hearing loss include:

the use of hearing technologies, such as hearing aids, cochlear implants and middle ear implants;
the use of sign language and other means of sensory substitution, such as speech reading, use of print on palm or Tadoma, signed communication; and
rehabilitative therapy to enhance perceptive skills and develop communication and linguistic abilities.

The use of hearing assistive technology, and services such as frequency modulation and loop systems, alerting devices, telecommunication devices, captioning services and sign language interpretation, can further improve access to communication and education for people with hearing loss.

Eye Protection Tips For Miners

By Dr Ellane Simon

PPE in mining
Worn to minimize exposure to various hazards.

Examples of PPE include gloves, steel-toed footwear, eye protection, protective hearing devices (earplugs, muffs), hard hats, respirators and reflective clothing.
Gloves – prevent scrapes and abrasions.

Footwear- should be water proof and a puncture proof sole.

Eye protection- prevent dirt and dust floating around the mine from going into the eyes. Also keep chemicals from splashing into the eyes.
Protective hearing devices- to prevent irreversible hearing loss from loud machines, tools and vehicles miners use
Hard hats- protect the miner from water and falling objects
Respirators- prevent from dust exposure which may cause chronic lung disease in the long run.
Reflective clothing- for workers to be recognized easily.

ANC Says Mnangagwa’s Clean Because West Didn’t Lift Sanctions After Nov Coup

“West should have lifted sanctions after 2017 coup!” ANC maintains. Nonsense, Zimbabwe was and remain a pariah state.

indepth...Wilbert Mukori
indepth…Wilbert Mukori

By Wilbert Mukori |One of the most obnoxious things appoint white racism is the how the whites denied the blacks a voice.

This is utter nonsense:

the removal of Mugabe through a military coup underlined just how desperate the political system in Zimbabwe had become, Mugabe could not be remove through free, fair and credible elections, only a military coup.

following the coup, Mnangagwa and his coup plotters promised to stamp out corruption and to hold free and fair elections. They corruption is rampant and they went on to blatantly rig the 2018 elections; confirming Zimbabwe was still a pariah state ruled by corrupt and vote rigging thugs. The November 2017 military coup facilitated a musical chairs changes in Zanu PF otherwise nothing of substance changed.

everyone know Zanu PF has repeatedly failed to hold free, fair and credible elections and that is the reason why Zimbabwe withdraw from the Commonwealth before it was booted out in 2003. The country’s application to be readmitted was refused because it failed to hold free elections in 2018.

SADC leaders know that not even one meaningful reform was implemented during the five years of the GNU nor since. Zanu PF emerged from the GNU with all its carte blanche powers to rig elections. Zanu PF rigged the 2013 and 2018 elections and is rigging the 2023 elections.

the root cause of Zimbabwe’s economic mess and political turmoil is the country’s failure to hold free, fair and credible elections.

Robert Chapman Falls Into Deep Debt After Multiple Trips To Harare

By A Correspondent | The man who “investigative journalist’ Hopewell Chin’ono says owns a private jet, the Democratic Union of Zimbabwe leader, Robert Chapman has fallen into deep debt following multiple trips between Harare and Tennessee.

Chapman has blown thousands of his 4 children’s food money on his political campaign, it has emerged.

Chapman was Thursday afternoon served prosecution papers for contempt of court (over defaulting child support money payments plus visitation failure which has lasted over 3 months.)

Hopewell Chin'ono's claim over Robert Chapman's finances

Chapman, who some Zimbabweans label, Obama, was served at around 3.30pm, Nashville Time, court papers in ZimEye’s possession show.

In the state of Tennessee, when one fails to pay child maintenance and goes into arrears for over 3 months, they’ve broken the law.

Lawyers used court server services to track Robert Chapman upon him entering the Nashville area.

The officers physically chased him up, and their movement is reflected in the following live satellite tracker (officer reflected in the cop icon, that’s moving up the journey trail in the map).

The software tracked Chapman down to a local hotel.

The development was confirmed by the software used by the local solicitors.

Chapman has child maintenance arrears totalling more than USD10,000 for his 4 children with two different mothers, both based in the US. Papers served yesterday were for his fourth child.

One of the bills has on its own ran above the USD7,000 marker.

Mr Chapman cooperated during the serving, a source told ZimEye.

Contacted for comment via phone, Chapman responded saying he would call back to speak over the court official incident.

‘Hello Robert. Are you well? Want to publish the breaking story regarding the serving of papers that’s just happened against you at 3.30pm. Do you consider yourself financially fit for 2023 elections seeing you keep defaulting on child maintenance, which is a serious offence since 2014?,’ he was asked, to which he asked for more time. “Can I return your call shortly,” he said.

2 hours later, Chapman was still to call, and he was asked once again, ‘Thank you for replying me…but you are still to call. Is it not wise to use the Harare flight money for your kids? Time is moving. I have a deadline on the o-clock for your final comment,’ he was told.

The latest development is one ina string of several others since 2014, when a judge ordered for his arrest over the first arrears running over USD12,000.

Chapman divorced his first wife in December 2010, and Thursday’s development regards his second marriage which was terminated 3 years ago.

In 2014, the Catoosa County Superior court in Georgia ordered Chapman to pay $500 a child. He was dragged him to court as his wife sought to compel him to pay child support.

“…Robert Howard Chapman does not pay $500 per month toward said child support arrears until paid in full, upon affidavit of Plaintiff, the Defendant shall be confined to the common jail of Catoosa County for his wilful failure and refusal to abide by the lawful order of this Court until the remaining arrears are paid in full,” read an order by Judge Brian House of the Catoosa County Superior Court.

“It is further ordered, adjudged, and decreed that the defendant shall continue to pay the sum of $873 per month as current support, in addition to the purge amount of $500 per month,” the ruling read.

Despite Chapman later clearing the total amount over USD12,000, he has accrued a new burden, running beyond USD11,000 for the four kids, as at Friday, today.

Chapman’s party was unreachable at the time of writing.

Female Activist Challenges Govt Ban On S^x Toys

The government has been sued over the ban on the importation of sex toys.

In a High Court application filed on Thursday, Women’s Academy for Leadership and Political Excellence (Walpe) executive director Sitabile Dewa sought an order declaring the ban on the importation, possession and or use of sex toys unconstitutional.

Dewa filed the application after a Gwanda State University (GSU) female lecturer was jailed for six months late last year after she imported sex toys from Germany.

Shirley Chapunza was given an option of paying a $60 000 fine to escape the jail term. The sex toys were seized by the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA).

Dewa argued that the criminalisation of the importation of sex toys infringed Chipunza’s rights as the gadgets were therapeutic and good for anyone’s well-being.

Dewa said:In the alternative, I seek a declaration from this court to the effect that devices for personal and private lawful sexual acts (sex toys) are exempt from the application of the aforesaid provisions.

I further aver that in the interests of my sexual and reproductive health, I must engage in some sexual activity. Some form of penetration is key to exercising my pelvic floor muscles and is therapeutic.

Vibrators and other sex enhancing devices are not only toys, but are also therapeutic devices that can be used to attain the highest standards of physical and mental well-being.

Dewa cited ministers Mthuli Ncube (Finance), Ziyambi Ziyambi (Justice), Kazembe Kazembe (Home Affairs), Zimra and the Attorney-General’s Office as respondents, respectively.

She argued that section 61 of the Constitution provides for the right to freedom of expression as well as freedom of thought, opinion and expression regarding sexuality.

Dewa said this section covered the right for a person to express themselves in sexual conduct of their choice.

The Walpe executive director said laws against sex toys were intrusive and an affront to the absolute right to dignity.

She added that the moral indignation and pontification with which the authorities and the courts find sex devices are feigned and hypocritical as these have always been part of our cultural heritage.

Dewa argued:We publicly acknowledge sex devices through the display of similar artefacts in the Great Zimbabwe Museum for the public and international tourists to view.

It is an indication that these were designed, possessed, and used by my ancestors.

The openness and the pride with which the sex artefacts are held, is irreconcilable with the position taken in statutes as currently interpreted that such objects stand for moral depravity.

She said the government, by freely distributing condoms, condoned any sexual activity by adults.

According to Dewa, there are many ways that government can regulate sex toys such as putting in place measures where the objects are only accessible to adults through strict licencing methods.

Dewa argued that section 71 of the Constitution entitles her to acquire, hold, use, and dispose of all forms of property as an individual anyhow.

WARNING- DISTRESSING STORY: As Man Kills Uncle And Eats His Flesh

warning disturbing video picture image

A Hwange man who allegedly gruesomely killed his 62-year-old uncle, dismembered his body, cooked and ate the remains while hanging the intestines and some of the body parts on a tree to dry, has been committed to a mental institution.

Wished Mumpande (39) of Mubhora Village, Chief Nekatambe in Hwange made headlines in the local Press after he butchered his uncle, Fida Stephen Mumpande who was aged 62 of Bhale Village, Chief Nekatambe, and ate part of the remains.

Mumpande was found in the Gandwe Hills with a pot of cooked meat, by a search team of three that was looking for Fida who had left his homestead three days prior to go and prepare his fields along Gwayi River. The search team was following Fida’s shoeprints.

On discovering the pot with cooked meat on top of the hill, the three suspected that the meat could be the remains of Fida and after a further search close to where the pot was, they found dismembered body parts scattered around.

Post-mortem results showed that some body parts such as intestines, liver, tongue, pancreas, bladder, and kidneys were missing.

When Mumpande was arrested he was referred to a psychiatrist, Dr Elena Paskotchinova who is registered with Ingutsheni Central Hospital in Bulawayo, who examined him at Mlondolozi Prison Hospital.

Presenting the results of the examination at the High Court which was in circuit in Hwange before Justice Maxwell Takuva, the acting prosecutor-general, Mr Nelson Mutsonziwa said Mumpande was mentally challenged and not fit for trial leading to his reference to a mental institution.

In a similar case, Gilbert Ndlovu from Deka Village in Lupane who killed his neighbour for unknown reasons in 2021 was also referred by the High Court to a mental institution.

According to the State on 21 October 2021, at around 6am, Ndlovu went to his neighbour’s place armed with two axes. On arrival, he forcibly unlocked the door and struck the now-deceased on the head before proceeding to assault the nephew of the deceased.

The court heard from the evidence presented by Dr Paskotchinova was that Ndlovu was once admitted to Ingutsheni Central Hospital in 2019 following somatic hallucinations where he complained of a certain object moving and burning his body.

In 2020, Ndlovu was once again admitted to the same institution due to auditory hallucinations, physical and verbal aggression whereby he threatened to kill other residents with either an axe or a knife.

“The accused person showed no remorse for the death of his neighbour as he claimed his neighbour had bewitched him with his five goblins and made him mentally ill.

According to the State on 21 October 2021, at around 6am, Ndlovu went to his neighbour’s place armed with two axes. On arrival, he forcibly unlocked the door and struck the now-deceased on the head before proceeding to assault the nephew of the deceased.

He further explained how a demon possessed him from his feet to his head before coming out of him as the sun. He also stated that he began drinking alcohol at 16 years and smoked about five cannabis twists daily,” said Dr Paskotchinova, as part of his findings.

The court also decided that the accused person was not fit for trial and was referred back to a mental institution where he is to remain until he is of no harm to society. Another alleged murderer, Irvine Sibanda was also deemed not fit to stand trial and was committed to a mental institution. Sibanda, who is from Nkayi also appeared at the same court last Tuesday. He is accused of having fatally assaulted his father with a metal rod for no reason. —Sunday News

British Visa Holder Nearly Abducts CCC Candidate

A UK visa holder, the Zanu PF Gutu North MP Yeukai Simbanegavi, has been captured on camera unleashing violence against a CCC candidate, putting herself at risk of arrest upon touching down in UK.

Britain has wide reaching jurisdiction to prosecute torture crimes committed in foreign countries.

Yeukai Simbanegavi

Rogue Zanu PF youth travelling with Yeukai Simbanegavi manhandled Gutu South CCC aspiring candidate Samuel Tsvangirai at Chinyika Business Center in Gutu on Sunday and almost bundled him into the back of the legislator’s truck before opposition supporters intervened.
The Zanu PF youth including Simbanegavi’s driver accused Tsvangirai of allegedly taking pictures of them as they charged at CCC supporters.

The incident happened after Simbanegavi and the youth allegedly waylaid the CCC supporters travelling in a truck at the business center some 40km north of Mpandawana Growth Point.

Simbanegavi confirmed the incident to The Mirror and that she was travelling with the youth. She queried Tsvangirai’s presence in Gutu North when he comes from Gutu South. She accused CCC supporters of going round provoking people and said that she had reported the matter to Police.

The Mirror says it has a video of the incident.

Tsvangirai also confirmed the incident adding that Zanu PF was paranoid of and would attack anything yellow. He declined to say what action he will take against his attackers.

The youth involved in the violence are all unemployed, were drunk and well known in the area.

They included Francis Mahachi who comes from Hanisi Village near Rafomoyo School in Gutu Ward 9; Bennie Mutare from Farm 112 Nyazvidzi next to Domborenikiti Primary School; Munyaradzi Mutare who stays near Mutanda Primary School Ward 9; Musengi Hunyanyiwa from Firomumwe in Ward 10, Maxwell Chiwanda from Chirozva Village in Ward 10; Blessing Wititi from Guchacha in Ward 10, James Mataruse and two others only identified as Tranos and Maggie.

Maggie who is understood to be working from an office at Gutu Rural District Council threw dust into Tsvangirai’s face and head. Mahachi was the most aggressive of the Zanu PF youth.

The attack happened while Simbanegavi sat at a disused hall, 200 metres away, according to Zanu PF youth who spoke to The Mirror. The majority of the youth allegedly refused to carry out the attack on CCC supporters after complaining that they could be injured.

Mahachi and Bennie Mutare confirmed that they were with Simbanegavi on the day. Mahachi confessed that he was involved in the attack while Mutare said he was just at the scene.

A senior CCC member who was at the scene condemned Simbanegavi for her alleged appetite for violence.

“Very soon she will have innocent people’s blood in her hands. I hope she is old enough to remember that two Zanu PF youth were killed at the same business center where she was agitating for violence in 2008 after angry villagers mobilized and overran a torture camp. She must not continue to take people for granted. Elections are lawful and who is she to dictate who participates or not?” asked the CCC member.

The youth only stopped bundling Tsvangirai into the vehicle, when CCC councillor Bernard Chimwango warned them that they were about to commit a serious crime which is kidnapping. He also warned them that he was not going to fold his hands while they do that.

Simbanegavi who did O Levels at Gutu Mission in 1995 comes from Simbanegavi Village in Gutu Central Constituency. Her mother Elizabeth Simbanegavi is a councillor at Gutu RDC. Simbanegavi worked at some shops in Gutu District before she joined the Ministry of Women Affairs at Mpandawanana.

Parliamentary seats for Gutu have over the years been dominated by former Gutu RDC workers with three former employees currently being either MPs or Senators.-Masvingo Mirror

President Chamisa Unpacks 2023 Roadmap

Tinashe Sambiri
CCC leader President Nelson Chamisa has pulled a finishing gambit to silence naysayers.

On Friday President Chamisa unpacked a clear roadmap to the 2023 polls.

See the CCC leader’s brief statement below:

A CLEAR PLAN & ROADMAP…

2021-Citizens Convergence for Change
2022-Citizens Action for Change
2023-Citizens Victory for Change
It has been a clear journey, strategy and benchmarked timeline & trajectory over the past three years.

Convergence + Action = Victory

Hearing Loss Avoidable

It is estimated that by 2050 over 700 million people – or 1 in every 10 people – will have disabling hearing loss.

Effective strategies for reducing hearing loss at different stages of the life course include:

immunization;
good maternal and childcare practices;
genetic counselling;
identification and management of common ear conditions;
occupational hearing conservation programmes for noise and chemical exposure;
safe listening strategies for the reduction of exposure to loud sounds in recreational settings; and
rational use of medicines to prevent ototoxic hearing loss.

Measures available to rehabilitate people with hearing loss include:

the use of hearing technologies, such as hearing aids, cochlear implants and middle ear implants;
the use of sign language and other means of sensory substitution, such as speech reading, use of print on palm or Tadoma, signed communication; and
rehabilitative therapy to enhance perceptive skills and develop communication and linguistic abilities.

The use of hearing assistive technology, and services such as frequency modulation and loop systems, alerting devices, telecommunication devices, captioning services and sign language interpretation, can further improve access to communication and education for people with hearing loss.

Basic Mining Guidelines

Steps to starting from zero in the mining sector.

Just like every industry mining has zero beginning where you begin with absolute nothing or with little amounts of less than 100usd .

By nature mining is a very high expenditure business thousands of united States dollars are needed to run a successful mining business sometimes with no returns .

We are going to take you through a short but powerful account of how to begin at zero step by step .

Step 1
Be interested in mining stories read and listen to as many mining stories in detail asking keen and clear questions.

Artisanal miners have a lot of stories to tell each story has a specific detail that is clue to how you can start from zero . By this way you will be informally introducing yourself to it .
Befriend someone in mining.

Deliberately choose a friend who regularly goes to the mine be very close friend. By so doing you receive mining updates and stories for free . You will learn mining terms risks and rewards fast .

3 visit the mines regularly.
Now that you have a friend visit the mines with him regularly to assess the situation and listen to more mining stories from others stay there for a long time sometimes even 12hrs or two days continuously.
4 identify areas of need within your friend’s network.

At this stage visit with a secret book identify needs that would let you in . The easiest is food just buy relish for them for free and start asking direct question how can you be of help .

NB don’t over promise or over commit yourself if you don’t yet understand the risky .

Pause : mining is so risky and ugly the losses are fatal we have lost money huge amounts never to receive it back don’t let the “reward stories ” force you to sell valuable property or use school fees for your kids to invest these “reward stories are structured to lure you .
Lists of free entry points no cent just you .

1 use your own hands join the team with intention of raising money to invest back for those working join night shift before list what you want to do with the money . Below are inputs and values
A box of explosives sets 330usd
A drum of diesel market price
A compressor set 2000usd
Pegging a mine 3000usd.
Never mind the amount using your hands increases the chances of high returns .
2 link with an investor with huge financial muscles and get double share .
3 identify and bring an expert who improve production
Low income entry points in values
1 food and lighting 100usd
50kg mealie
Cooking oil 5litres
Salt
Relish
Torches
Rare cheap entry points
Buying food during milling of ore 400rands or less
Covering a member who felt ill or absent temporarily by some un forseen means .
At this time you have a vision what you want to do this is a list of what you can permanently do
1 be food and relish provider for as many teams as you can .
2 provide transport for life
3 provide explosives and diesel
4 provide compressor or diesel powered windlass
5 build tanks fir cyanide process
6 fund workers for none work related needs . This is risky needs a careful study.

Munetsi Hails Mane

Warriors international Marshall Munetsi says he wants to change the world by copying the Senegalese star, Sadio Mane’s charity works.

The Stade de Reims midfielder gives between 10 and 20% of his salary per month to his foundation, Marshall Munetsi Foundation, which helps children in Zimbabwe.

The foundation pays school fees for under privileged students and also supports grassroot football development.

In an interview with French outlet L’Equipe, Munetsi said he draws inspiration from Mane, who has led the development of his home village of Bambali in Senegal into a decent modern town.

The Bayern Munich forward has funded the building of schools, hospitals, fuel stations and a post office.

“Look what Mané did in Senegal, he founded a city! We deserve the money we earn, but what do we do with it? I want to change the world,” Munetsi was quoted as saying by the French publication.

Marshall also revealed that he is considering changing the name of his foundation by removing his birth-name Marshall Munetsi on it.

“I would like to change the name of the organisation because I am not here to put myself forward. It must exist even without me,” the 26-year-old revealed to the publication.- Soccer24 Zimbabwe

Klopp Opens Up On Firmino Future

Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp has broken his silence on Roberto Firmino’s plans to leave the club at the end of the season.

The Brazilian striker’s current deal is set to expire in June this year. He communicated his intentions to Klopp in a meeting a week ago.

Asked about Firmino’s future at Friday’s pre-match press conference, Klopp told reporters: “Yes, he told me. Surprised? Yes, a little bit but I was not hit by surprise, actually it’s a normal thing to do.

“It could go two ways and it was one. And I respect that a lot. It’s completely normal in this kind of long relationship that we have and Bobby has with the club and with most of the players and stuff like this, and with the fans of course.

“It’s pretty special and I loved the reception he got when he came on against United. He told me and then the only other thing he said is, ‘Now I want to bring this wonderful story to a positive end.’ So, that’s it. He is completely here and completely committed, how everybody can imagine. And that’s all we need to know.”

He added: “There’s no time for a goodbye or whatever in this moment, there’s enough time for that later in the season. Whenever he will come back, everybody knows that the song will still be for a long, long time in everybody’s ears I’m pretty sure.

“No problem. I think he’s one of these players that even when he would come with an opposition team, people would be really happy to see him.”

Firmino arrived at Liverpool in 2015 from Hoffenheim in a £21.3m deal.

He has scored 107 goals and provided 78 assists in 352 appearances, forming a formidable partnership with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, who is now at Bayern Munich.

The forward has won seven titles with Liverpool, among them the Champions League in the 2018/19 season and the Premier League title a year later.- Soccer24 Zimbabwe

Man Snatches Neighbour’s Wife

A Makoni villager who secretly datǝd his friend and neighbour’s wife since last year recently parted ways with six cattle for his pr0miscu0us and shameless behaviour.

Tendai Muchochomi of Chiendambuya Growth Point was last week dragged to Chief Makoni’s court for dɑting Misi Chigudu’s wife, Forget Muchanya, since September last year.

Narrating the issue, Chigudu said Muchochomi secretly bought his wife a cellphone and SIM card for their secret communication.

“One day I deliberately did not go to my shop and stayed at home. My wife received a call and I overheard a male voice saying: “Hello swǝǝtie, uri sei hako (how are you)”.

“I grabbed the phone from my wife. It was my first time to see that phone and I was not aware that my wife had a secret line.

“I questioned my wife about it and she told me that the caller was Muchochomi and they had been dɑting since last year.

She also said Muchochomi bought her the cellphone. We have since separated with the mother of my child over this issue.

“My wife went and informed Muchochomi that the secret ɑffa!r had been exposed. Muchochomi teamed up with his brothers and apologised to my father, Reverend Chigudu, but he refused to entertain them.

“I am hurt by what Muchochomi did to me. I want him to compensate me with 10 beasts and US$220, which is the cost of this lawsuit,” said a heartbroken Chigudu.

Reverend Chigudu also testified that Muchochomi and his brothers approached him so that he could facilitate dialogue between them and his son over the issue.

He said the Muchochomis also expressed their willingness to compensate his son, Misi.

However, Muchochomi denied dating Chigudu’s wife, but admitted approaching his father. He was also ordered to pay US$220 as the cost of the lawsuit.

Muchochoni’s brother was fined a beast for his false testimony before the court.

ZACC Officer Accused Of Criminal Abuse Of The Justice System To Spend The Weekend In Jail

Businessman Ofer Sivan filed a complaint with Criminal Investigations Department Commercial Crimes Division (CCD) after his arrest by ZACC Officer Smart Mandofa and his associates in January 2022.

Following this report and investigations by the CID CCD, Mandofa was arrested on the 10th of March 2023 for charges of fraud.

The charge comes about after Mandofa took a complaint by Gilad Shabtai, who has a pending warrant of arrest for fraud, tax evasion, illegal externalisation of company funds.

According to the state, whilst representing ZACC as an officer of the law, Mandofa did not conduct investigations against Sivan according to the code and conduct of the laws of Zimbabwe.

Magistrate Ngoni Nduna moved the proceedings to Monday, with Mandofa being held in remand after the State Prosecutor recused herself over ill health.

Mandofa was to appear with two other ZACC officers who are still at large.

The three stands accused of turning a blind eye when accepting a fraudulent complaint from Gilad Shabtai in that he never appeared personally to make the complaint, which is the correct method in which complaints are taken.

They also ignored the fact that Gilad Shabtai and Munyaradzi Gonyora had outstanding warrants of arrest against them and had failed to avail themselves for questioning in the many illegal activities of which they have been involved.

However, they acted extremely quickly to have Sivan arrested without conducting the proper investigations or even asking any questions of the accused.

And in the process of Sivan’s bail hearing, Mandofa allegedly misrepresented facts on the stand whilst under oath.

Shabtai and Gonyora were declared as having committed fraud, and misappropriation of company funds on 21 September 2022 by Honorable J Chitapi in the High Court of Harare following the complaint by Ofer Sivan, which is in conjunction to the reports filed against Smart Mandofa.

The State today said that its investigations of the matter in Mandofa’s “involvement” have since established that from the initial stage of reporting the case up until the matter was referred for prosecution, Shabtai never presented himself physically to accused persons, an act facilitated by these three accused persons to ensure Shabtal was not arrested.

“A request for travel history in respect of Gilad Shabtai Passport Numbers 39014276 and 39004783 (Israel) ID Number 0-0769507-5 to the Chief Director of Immigration, Zimbabwe Immigration Department for the period extending from 01 November 2021 to 18 August 2022.

The results shows that Gilad Shabtai was out of the country when the case was reported at ZACC up until mutter was referred to court for prosecution.

The travel record shows that Gilad Shabtai visited Zimbabwe through Robert Mugabe International Airport on 17 July 2022 and on the 18 July 2022, he left Zimbabwe. The comment on the travel history can be produced in court as evidence.

“Further read the charge sheet: “A copy of the docket reported and investigated at ZACC under ZACC H/CR 55.11.2021 PGD 418/22 was obtained and secured as an exhibit under exhibit book number 02/23 at CCU. The evidence in the docket substantiates that indeed Gilad Shabtai’s case was initially received at ZACC on the 18th of November 2021 purportedly as an anonymous as per entry 01 of the diary log. Instead, the report was made by Munyaradzi Gonyora who was on remand at Harare Magistrate Court jointly charged together with Gilad Shabtai in a case that was reported by Ofer Sivan and was investigated at CID CCD under CCD DR 44/08/21″ZRP officials involved in the investigations state that there is overwhelming evidence that Mandofa was paid richly by Gilad Shabtai to not only tarnish the name of Ofer Sivan but also to ensure that he was caused irreparable harm not only personally but also affecting the company which he runs and divert attention from Shabtai and Gonyora’s illegal wrong doings.

ZACC Officer Appears In Court On Abuse Of Office Charges

By Jane Mlambo| Harare Magistrate Ngoni Nduna has remanded a Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) appeared iZACC Officer Smart Marlon Mandofa to Monday 13 March 2023 following his arrest on criminal abuse of office charges.

Mandofa was arrested on Friday following a complaint filed by businessman Ofer Sivan.

According to the state’s case, Sivan reported a serious case of fraud, tax evasion and externalisation against his co-directors Gilad Shabtai and Munyaradzi Gonyora.

The accused person together with his two accomplices who have not been arrested yet allegedly turned a blind eye on Sivan’s report despite the High Court Judge Justice Tawanda Chitapi having ordered Shabtai and Gonyora to return the money to Adlecraft Investments.

Further, the state alleges that Mandofa and his accomplices went on to arrest Sivan based on an anonymous report of forgery while ignoring a serious case of fraud involving Shabtai and Gonyora.

After arresting Sivan, Mandofa and his accomplices allegedly disregarded the need to obtain requested sample signatures directly from subjects as per the norm.

In addition, Mandofa was shown a warrant of arrest for Shabtai but did not act on it.

“Further investigations of the matter have established that from the initial stage of reporting the case up until the matter was referred for prosecution, Gilad Shabtai never presented himself physically to the accused person, an act facilitated by the three accused persons to ensure Gilad Shabtai was not arrested,” reads part of the State outline.

Mandofa denied the allegations of associating with Gilad Shabtai who was on a warrant and his lawyers argued that Shabtai is not a fugitive from justice as he was even given security assurance by the acting prosecutor general.

“I deny the charges in their entirety. This is a ploy by Ofer Sivan to interfere with State witnesses and investigations into his fraud matters that have already been charged. I never abused my duty as a public officer in the manner alleged or at all. I am shocked that I am alleged to have unlawfully associated with a complainant who was on a warrant of arrest.

Magistrate Nduna moved the proceedings to Monday, after the State Prosecutor recused herself due to illness.

Prosecutor Michael Reza who appeared briefly on behalf of the state said he was conflicted as he was in good books with the accused person.

Reza initially apologised for being improperly dressed for court, wearing a United Methodist Church t-shirt and khaki pants.

Mandofa’s lawyers had challenged his incarceration saying there are no grounds to warrant the detention.

They questioned why the State did not make arrangements for another prosecutor when they had been made aware of the prosecutor’s illness in the morning.

Zanu PF “Surrenders” Masvingo Urban To CCC By Fielding Weak Candidate

By A Correspondent

Victory of the CCC is now certain in Masvingo Urban after Zanu PF endorsed Wellington Mahwende as the candidate for the House of Assembly.

“A man who is known for corruption (Mahwende) and loves women wants to be a representative of the people of Masvingo Urban. This man snatches people’s wives- he himself said last week at a Zanu PF ward 6 meeting that people are saying he loves women like oxygen,” a war veteran fumed.

Zanu PF sources claim the man dates many ladies.

Another pastor from ward 5 “who is a best friend to Mahwende” was also reportedly found having sex with a married lady, leading to widespread criticism of the party over women’s issues.

Citizens say the man, Mahwende, is a thug and does not deserve to represent the people.

Members of the Zanu PF women’s league in Masvingo say they are in the oven ” because of the man, a deputy mayor who snatches married ladies.”

About Hearing Loss

It is estimated that by 2050 over 700 million people – or 1 in every 10 people – will have disabling hearing loss.

Effective strategies for reducing hearing loss at different stages of the life course include:

immunization;
good maternal and childcare practices;
genetic counselling;
identification and management of common ear conditions;
occupational hearing conservation programmes for noise and chemical exposure;
safe listening strategies for the reduction of exposure to loud sounds in recreational settings; and
rational use of medicines to prevent ototoxic hearing loss.

Measures available to rehabilitate people with hearing loss include:

the use of hearing technologies, such as hearing aids, cochlear implants and middle ear implants;
the use of sign language and other means of sensory substitution, such as speech reading, use of print on palm or Tadoma, signed communication; and
rehabilitative therapy to enhance perceptive skills and develop communication and linguistic abilities.

The use of hearing assistive technology, and services such as frequency modulation and loop systems, alerting devices, telecommunication devices, captioning services and sign language interpretation, can further improve access to communication and education for people with hearing loss.

15yrs Behind Bars For Copper Cables Stealing Zimbo

By A Correspondent- A Zimbabwean man was sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment for theft of copper cables from a farm in Limpopo.

The Musina Regional Court convicted and sentenced a Zimbabwean national, Shepard Munorwa, 30, for tampering with essential infrastructure, theft of copper relating to essential infrastructure, and illegal immigration.

According to the National Prosecuting Authority, Munorwa and his accomplice stole electric cables from a private farm and were caught by a security company. However, the accomplice managed to escape the scene.

The theft of the cables interrupted basic service delivery on the farm.

“During the trial, the accused pleaded not guilty to the offences. In aggravation of sentence, the state prosecutor, Jan Krijt, submitted that the country was currently experiencing unprecedented levels of cable theft.

“The owner of the farm had suffered a loss of R500 000 in past years as a result of cable theft, and had even appointed a security company (to try to put a stop to the ongoing theft),” said the NPA’s Limpopo spokesperson, Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi.

The prosecutor further submitted that there were no substantial or compelling circumstances to deviate from the prescribed minimum sentence. Therefore, the court has sentenced Shepard Munorwa to 15 years’ imprisonment for tampering with essential infrastructure, 15 years for theft of copper relating to essential infrastructure, and six months for illegal immigration.

“The court ordered the sentence in counts one, two and three to run concurrently. They further declared the accused unfit to possess a firearm,” she said.

In the Eastern Cape, Ayabulela Nkole, 29, was sentenced to an effective 15-year imprisonment term for tampering with and destroying essential infrastructure, as well as theft of ferrous or non-ferrous metal, which forms part of essential infrastructure.

He was sentenced at the Motherwell Regional Court. He had pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.

“On the night of May 15, 2021, Nkole was spotted pulling a power cable by Nelson Mandela Bay metro officers who were travelling on Ngedle Street, in Motherwell, Gqeberha.

“The street lights were off at that moment, and when police approached Nkole started running away. The officers managed to catch him not far from where the cable was stolen.

“He was taken back to the scene and later to the police station,” said the NPA’s Eastern Cape spokesperson, Luxolo Tyali.

Armed Robbers Trigger Alarm, Flea

By A Correspondent- When one of four balaclava-clad armed robbers attacked him on the back of his head, he smelt blood and almost counted himself dead.

This happened in Pumula South suburb in Bulawayo this week on Tuesday where a security guard was brutally attacked while guarding a network booster.

According to a source close to the case, the four robbers were travelling in a black Honda Fit and they parked it a few metres from the network booster.

They were armed with a knife, iron rod and an axe and they arrived at the scene shortly after midnight.

he source said they manhandled him before one of the gang members struck him with an iron rod on the back of his head while another one landed a fist on his face and head.

“He tumbled to the ground and they quickly tied his hands to his feet with a wire and he was bleeding in the process.

“One of the robbers remained monitoring him while the other three dashed to the booster and struck it with an axe but their mission failed after one of them mistakenly touched an alarm causing it to ring forcing them to flee in their car,” said the source.

After a few minutes the security company’s response team arrived at the scene and untied the attacked security guard.

“While they were at the scene they received a phone call that the same robbers travelling in a black Honda Fit had attacked another security guard at a booster in Nkulumane 12 suburb.

“The response team rushed there and found the robbers and upon seeing the reaction team they fled. The response team deflated tyres of their vehicle and reported the incident to the police,” said the source.

Bulawayo police spokesperson Inspector Abednico Ncube confirmed the incident and appealed for information that could lead to their arrest.

“Anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the four suspects can contact any nearest police station or call us on 029-60358.”

Four Bullies Captured Live On Video Flogging Minor

By A Correspondent- The world was never the same for Sibusisiwe Chirenje when she saw the video of her daughter being mercilessly flogged by four bullies. The two-and-a-half minute video, though short, crumbled her world into pieces.

The mother-of-five wept uncontrollably, and she couldn’t imagine the pain her 14-year-old daughter must have endured from the thrashing at the hands of four bullies, who were all schoolboys from Mathula Secondary School in Tsholotsho.

In this digital age, every public action can be recorded with a touch of a button by anyone who owns a smartphone. Chirenje had seen her fair share of videos circulating on social media, some hilarious and meant to entertain, while others were too horrifying in nature to watch. But, she never imagined that one day, her daughter would be watched by thousands of viewers on social media being senselessly beaten by boys old enough to be her older siblings.

Anger, sadness, disgust, and fear — all rolled into one burning emotion — engulfed the 37-year-old woman as she tried to wrap her head around the situation.

“I cried for hours. The pain I felt from watching my daughter being beaten for no reason by a group of older boys was just too much for me to bear. So, I made the difficult decision to send the video to a relative and delete it from my phone,” she said.

Chirenje couldn’t keep such a traumatic video on her mobile phone; it was too much for her to comprehend.

She wondered how four boys could come to a decision to beat up a younger girl with sticks that were not even fit to whip a donkey with? What had she done to deserve such an attack?

In the video that shocked a nation, a group of Mathula Secondary School students were walking home when one older boy confronted a young girl and started whipping her with a stick without explanation. Two other boys, also holding sticks, joined in beating up the hapless girl as she cried out for help, but that assistance never came.

The victim can be seen running in the direction of another older boy, whom she appears to think might rescue her, but instead, the bully joins in, lashing her with a stick. Other learners laughed without a care at the pain the victim was going through while the unsettling footage was captured on camera.

Contrary to what many viewers believe is a relatively new video exposing deep-rooted bullying in rural Tsholotsho, the incident is, in fact, four months old but was recently posted on social media.

The victim is now in Form Two at Mathula Secondary School.

“My daughter was beaten by those boys in late November last year, and I only knew about the incident two weeks ago after it started circulating on WhatsApp. When I asked her why she kept quiet all this time, she said she was scared the boys would beat her up again if she reported the incident at school or at home.”

According to Chirenje, her daughter’s friend and classmate wrote a love letter expressing interest in one of the boys but signed the letter using her child’s name. When the boy, under the impression that her daughter had written the love letter, asked to walk her home, she refused, which upset the older learner. The rejection didn’t go down well with the older boy, who then ganged up with other boys to beat up her child.

“I can only conclude that the rejection didn’t go down well with the older boy who then ganged up with other boys to beat up my child. All I want is justice for my child, she doesn’t deserve to be beaten like that and intimidated by other students in such a horrible way,” said Chirenje.

The arrest of the boys by the police was after the victim’s father, who works in South Africa, pursued the issue, seeking justice for his daughter. He had been tipped off by one of the learners at the school that a video of his daughter being beaten by older boys was circulating amongst the students.

The infuriated father — California Vundla — did his own investigations and unearthed the disturbing video.

It’s not clear who posted the video on social media despite its existence for four months. The perpetrators briefly appeared in court on Wednesday morning, the same day that a Saturday Chronicle news crew was in Tsholotsho, at Dogwe Village investigating the incident, and were released into the custody of their parents.

The victim’s grandmother Lavi Vundla said the family is seeking justice for the teenage girl, even if the beating took place four months ago.

“Whenever my daughter-in-law talks about the video, she still cries up to this day.

“No parent deserves to see their child beaten like that. We are leaving everything in the hands of the courts but we certainly want justice for our child,” said Gogo Vundla.

The four boys are known to the victim’s family.

“They are local boys whose parents are our neighbours and friends. I’m still shocked what pushed those boys to do something like that. It’s our duty to teach boys and young men that gender-based violence is not okay,” said Siphosenkosi Ndlovu, an elderly villager who briefly talked to the Saturday Chronicle at the local shops close to the victim’s homestead.

Mathula Secondary School headmaster Tylod Nkomo was said to be out of office attending school business at the Tsholotsho Centre. His cellphone was unreachable.

South Africa-based Zimbabwean psychologist Dr Thelma Masuku-Jones says cases of young men who beat up girls are usually signs of absentee fathers in the family.

“Boys that grow up in families with absent fathers are more likely to engage in violent behaviour against their romantic partners or future wives, they are more likely to end up in poverty or drop out of school, become addicted to drugs, have a child out of wedlock, or end up in prison.

“Migration of fathers for opportunities outside the country for prolonged periods of time leaving children in the care of their mothers or extended family members also leads to behavioural changes in teenage boys,” says Dr Masuku-Jones.

The psychologist opines that on average children whose father is actively involved tend to have fewer problems with school achievement, behaviour and social interaction than children whose father is not actively involved in their lives.
